I'm from out of state (husband is in the military) & I had a drivers license from Texas originally. When I first walked in I was greeted by a front desk attendant. He directed me to a computer & helped me (when needed) for filing for a Nebraska drivers license. I eventually filled out everything, got my ticket & waited to be called up. It didn't take super long surprisingly! The dmv employee who had helped me was very attentive. He answered all my questions & even helped me with filing with getting a voter registration in the state. Process was quick & I was in & out within under two hours. Would recommend.

With tears in her eyes she expressed how inconsiderate and belittled this cashier made her feel. My mom has limited English but understand a lot of it, just cant speak it as good. Cashier#5 kept making comments about my mom not understanding instructions, this employee used profanity out of frustration because according to her, my mom was not understanding, it got so bad that the Cashier next to this employee stepped in who is bilingual and tried her best to explain to my mom in spanish what the instructions were and my mom was actually following the instructions Cash#5 was initially giving her. My mom explained in spanish to the bilingual Cashier that she does understand english she just has trouble speaking it. My mom felt terrible and her experienced had her in tears even as she was telling me what happened to her. She was treated unfairly, the cashier was very unethical, and if there is a way to submit a formal complaint I will because no person should be treated this way specially if you represent a company/agency like the DMV.

I'm really amazed at just how easy it is to get in and out of the Cass County Courthouse. Most of…read morethe urban court buildings I've been to, you have to pass through a metal detector and have your stuff x-rayed, and God help you if you have a pocket knife. But not here. There are no metal detectors anywhere. You just walk in, conduct your business and walk out, easy as pie. This building contains the county courts as well as most of the other county functions, such as treasurer, clerk, register of deeds, surveyor and commissioners. It also houses the county probation offices and the local DMV.

I had an incident which left my car undrivable and I was forced to relinquish my ability to do so at the time. I had to sign some paperwork and my vehicle was removed from site and relocated to Omaha Police Impound. I was told I could retrieve it the next day. I showed up first thing in the morning in my working vehicle and had to produce many forms of ownership. Title, license, and proof of insurance. Then I had to give them my Visa. no other card would work and they don't take checks. Much like Costco in that matter. I called my roadside assistance and they were able to bring my car from Impound to my driveway, free of charge. +1 for Progressive! Upon reading the papers I had, it states that you can have the Impound bring the vehicle to your home or designated location for $~125, or they will bring it to the lot for $99. Plus $39 a day storage, Plus $44 for documentation. As you might infer, It costs much less to bring your vehicle home. Please avoid this location unless you are going to the auction. You can get a great deal on a slightly broken motorbike!

The Field House gym and Base Exchange are excellent facilities. The Commissary has been improved but is still showing its age. The gas station/Class 6/shoppette/Burger King are newer and conveniently located. Gate guards were efficient and polite. We've had great service when getting updated ID cards.
