And if you don't frequent the DMV it can be confusing. I'm mainly here to have my last name and address changed. The room is not very well laid out. There were people standing outside and I immediately assumed they were waiting in line. To get to the clerk you have to go thru a narrow hall where there are people seated and once you're in the room there are also people waiting ... the most uncomfortable part - everyone stares at you. The clerk window is located way in the back corner. I hit jackpot - the clerk was very friendly and helpful. (we've all encountered State employees who are not the friendliest) I explained to him why I was here and lucky enough I have all the documentations I needed. I was provided a number and now the wait begins .... I'm already over 40 minutes into the wait. At least I finished my review!

Surprised to ever give any dmv a high rating but this Sarpy county location is fantastic. I had to…read morego in due to my drivers license expiring & I needed assistance with a renewal. I'm from out of state (husband is in the military) & I had a drivers license from Texas originally. When I first walked in I was greeted by a front desk attendant. He directed me to a computer & helped me (when needed) for filing for a Nebraska drivers license. I eventually filled out everything, got my ticket & waited to be called up. It didn't take super long surprisingly! The dmv employee who had helped me was very attentive. He answered all my questions & even helped me with filing with getting a voter registration in the state. Process was quick & I was in & out within under two hours. Would recommend.

This location has been updated a lot over the years so I recommend always looking online for all of their requirements and bring everything before coming to save yourself from return trips. The other day was no different went got assigned a ticket # and then proceeded to wait with massive amounts of other people. The robotic machine announcing each distant number while you try to not look around but it's fascinating yet awkward to people watch. So many different types of people. Finally I was called and found a register the person wasn't thrilled to assist but finally got it done then my massive surprise total came up and had to pay with my card then told it's a $10 fee to use which made the total even higher. All I have to say is good luck! But at least I got it done with for now.

WATCH OUT!!!!! I tried to renew my drivers license online…read morethrough the DMV website. The DMV online site routed me to a third party site called yourdrivinginfo.org. THIS IS A SCAM!!! They charged me $25 without my approval and I received nothing. I ended up going to the DMV office and received my renewal without issue. In fact, I was very pleased with the support at the DMV office. I called the DMV IT person (Keith) and alerted him to this SCAM. He was aware of this type of scam but confirmed that the Nebraska DMV is not affiliated with YOURDRIVINGINFO.ORG. Unfortunately the Nebraska DMV website will inadvertently route you to these scammers.
