I don't go there often but they have a new building and they have it set up real nice. It's going to have a fountain like the old days.

The staff at Petersburg Pharmacy are…read moreextremely helpful, Dave has offered me great advice when picking up medicines for myself and my kids. He is always willing to order in products that they do not stock. Yes it is a little more expensive than buying at a big chain, but that is money well spent for the difference in service. I can walk in with a brand new prescription and walk out of there 10 minutes later with my medicine. When I went to the big chains they always say it will be at least an hour and it usually ends up taking longer anyway. I spent years dealing with the big chains in Springfield because they were available 24 hours. Well, you can still use them in an emergency but get all the benefits of local service the rest of the time.

The pharmacist originally quoted me a price of $10.00 for the seven day supply. He cautioned me that if he ran the card and the price came up higher, then he would not give me the price of $10.00. I called the company and they reassured me that I would receive 65% of the 10.00. So, thinking that I would receive the medicine for $3.50, I had the pharmacist run the card. He asked me if I wanted the whole month's script or just one week's worth. Thinking I would get one week's worth of medicine for $3.50, I told him that I wanted a week's worth. It came up with a price of $17.41. The pharmacist reiterated that he would NOT give the medicine to me for $10.00. So I paid the $17.41 and went out to my car and called the company that issued the card. The customer service representative wanted to talk to the pharmacist. So I went inside the pharmacy and tried to get the pharmacist to talk with him. At that point, the pharmacist copped an attitude with me and swore at me, "Jesus Christ!" He reluctantly talked to the customer representative until the pharmacist said that the customer representative had hung up on him. He then told me to never bring any kind of discount coupon for medicines to him again. Later, when I had gotten home and done the math, I realized that the pharmacist was charging me the price of a month's worth of medicine at the discounted rate of 65% off for a week's worth of medicine. I contend that he knew that when he ran the card, hence he asked me if I wanted a month's worth or a week's worth. I am also horrified and offended that the pharmacist was not helpful to me, copped an attitude with me, and swore at me.

After feeling bad for about for several years and going through a very stressful situation..I…read morecouldn't feel much hope of continuing on with my life. Every part of my body hurt. My brain wouldn't work at all. I could barely get up out of a chair, my whole body hurt so bad. Each day was a terrible struggle. I remembered a friend once mentioned 'The Medicine Shoppe' and they were advertising on the radio at that time about a wellness program. I figured I might as well give it a try. I set up an appointment with the pharmacist ' Beaux Cole'. He was considerate and very forthcoming about helping me get well. I took one of their wellness test. The results indicated that my body was in severe depletion of the required balance of vitamins, nutrients, etc. to function normally. I was put on a regiment of homeopathic remedies (vitamins, etc.) that met my personal needs. It's been six months since I took the wellness test and started a very simple wellness program. I cut out all unhealthy foods. Refined sugars, flours, etc. I am so excited to say, that I feel the best I have in 10 years. It is such a wonderful feeling to wake up and be excited about another day and what I can get done now. Life is lovely again.
