Service was scheduled at 9:00 AM, and Deon confirmed the appointment the day before, which I appreciated since many companies leave guessing till the last minute. Deon also let me know that they were on the way to our home, prior to the appointment time, which to me is a professional way of conducting business! On arrival I found Deon to be highly professional and friendly, asking if we wanted him to wear shoe covers, then went to our kitchen and listened to what we had done in the past, our problems and then gave us his professional advice up to the point of where he could. The job was to replace a broken pipe between the well and the house. It involved cutting up the concrete patio. They also replaced the little galvanized plumbing we had left and put in a new pressure tank. What I particularly liked about Five Star was the quality of work and that fact that they had a person, Jacob, that followed up and made sure that work progressed and was done to my satisfaction. I view that as a good quality control. I also liked the fact that they were the lowest cost by far. Would recommend that to any friends.

the electrician came to my house did bad work and almost burnt it down. my homeowners warranty…read morecompany sent the above company to my house for a problem with my lighting. upon arrival the workers spliced every wire in my breaker box to find the blown breaker. in the process they left wire exposed to the copper, then said that will not hurt anything. instead of replacing the blown breaker the cut the line to it and put it on another breaker attaching it with a wire nut over loading it. when that breaker blew the wires and wire not was brunt and melted. there solution to me is to call my insurance company and make a claim. these guys will be responsible for someone's death if there allowed to continue. hopefully that will not happen.

Seemed professional when we first met and agreed on work at a reasonable price. Had significant…read moretrouble with installing recessed lighting in our ceiling resulting in two drilled holes in the roof, covered up with caulking while also ripping drywall from the ceiling. I had contractors come in to repair some of the damage caused (not all) which was higher than the value of the work he did. I still offered to pay him something to at least cover materials when he seemed reasonable about what had happened. This has resulted in insults and possibly threats from him on how he would get his money back. Response to owner: nice mix of truths and outright lies. I've sent over the full cost of the drywall repairs for him to see. The cost I told to him was only for the excessive damage he caused. Not even all of the damage he caused. He never told my wife about the holes in the roof she just happened to be around when they started panicking but she wasn't sure what was going on. I checked later after she told me something fishy had happened and I had to call him after he left for him to acknowledge the holes in the roof.
