It was around the holidays and time had gotten away from me. I didn't remember to call and schedule our session. They called me just to be sure the giftcard didn't go to waste, but they weren't too pushy. It was the start of consistently excellent customer service. Sessions are scheduled Thursdays through Saturdays (I believe). Ours was on a Friday afternoon. We told them upfront that we had two small children and apologized in advice for what would potentially turn into a disaster. Jeff, the photographer and owner, was amazing with our 3-year-old and 8-month-old. He was extremely patient and playful with them. We had a variety of poses and shots of the whole family and of the children. The studio is what was once a cozy home. It's absolutely stunning inside! We were taken to a private floor with a bathroom across from our room. They allowed us to take our time getting ready and situating the children. We didn't have any quarters to pay for parking and were having a hard time downloading the meter app. The Studio team informed us that there was a tray of quarters in the lobby for that purpose! And they went and filled the meters for us, on a cold snowy day. It really did help take the edge off of getting two little ones ready to be "on" for the camera. The actual studio is huge but cozy. There are several props to make the portraits unique. At the end of the session, you're given as much time as you need to prepare to leave. Jeff and his team were very respectful of the space we were given. Before we left, we scheduled a time to review our portraits (typically scheduled for Saturdays). She went over what we'd discuss in the follow up meeting and how my husband and I could prepare in advance, along with prices. There are several samples of their work adorned on the walls. It makes for a warm, welcoming reception. I absolutely loved our experience here!

I wanted something more professional and MWD was the ticket. Maggie did a great job making sure everything was just right (hair, clothes placement, all the details that rushed retail folks don't have time for). I also liked that I could actually see the photo to confirm I liked it, and we took multiple shots to get the one I wanted. Maggie was able to get European-compliant photos for me, and I had no problem at the consulate when applying for a passport. Worth the price!

They are prompt and responsive so you don't need to keep emailing them to reach out or remind them of things. They pay attention during your meetings so you don't end up repeating yourself- they understand exactly what you're looking for/what kind of couple you are/what you'll end up caring about and then make a super individualized video for you. They gave the perfect amount of direction to us throughout the day, so my husband and I look natural- not awkward or forced- but we have all of the gorgeous romantic/epic moments you'd want in a wedding video. Anna is SUPER creative so she had me do little things for the camera that came out GORGEOUS (ex: she had me walk down the hallway and open the double doors to my bridal suite and I look like a QUEEN in that shot). They even split up- so Anna filmed my morning, while Artem filmed my husband's morning-before coming together for the 1st look and rest of the day's events and the film product ended up so cohesive with such an epic style. I think because they're two married artists, they have a deep, almost telepathic understanding of what will work so Anna and Artem would be filming us without having to talk to one another and interrupt/ruin a candid shot as it was unfolding or make us reenact things. These 2 can communicate just by looking at each other so they were able to capture us genuinely laughing or talking and those little natural soundbite pearls made the video extra special for us. Anna and Artem are such pleasant, loving, genuinely empathetic people that made a stressful day feel safe and relaxed. They have such a wonderful disposition and energy. I spent over 12 hours with them and never one time felt irritated, even during moments of stress (which you will inevitably have on your wedding day!). Lastly- Anna and Artem worked super well with my 2 photographers- which I didn't realize would be so important! 312Film would create a situation or give us direction on something to do and it gave our photographers some of their best shots/our favorite pictures.
