It was a long drive that day.. it was coming to an end (for now) and we were looking for a place to stay in the next city. We had had just crossed the border from Nebraska into Colorado and Sterling was the next place. It was a small town and we did not expect to find a brewery, but we were sure glad we did! Cool place in an old building in the historic downtown area of Sterling. Decorated like an old garage inside with lots of seating inside and a small patio outside. They were busy and the staff were running back and forth making sure everyone was taken care of. We started out with a flight of beer and then ordered the pub chips and a Seattle dog. The beers were good.. the pub chips fresh, crisp truffled deliciousness. The Seattle dog was ok, needed more cream cheese and the pickle sat right next to the bun which made the bun soggy in that area (we were just in Seattle a month ago and had a Seattle dog there). All in all a great surprise in a little town.. great service, good food and good beer. A great experience!

I've gotta say I'm a big fan of Part & Labor Brewing. After making two special trips northeast to get my fix, I'm borderline a Parts & Labor Brewing addict. There's a lot to love about Parts & Labor Brewing, lemme break it down for you. The brews... Oh man, the brews. I've gotta say the Camshaft Kölsch is hand's down my favorite Kölsch I've had to date. It's wonderfully crisp and clean. I'll make sure I always pick up a can when I visit. Their Peach Poppins is a perfectly sessionable brew, without being over the top puckering. Honestly, I have yet to have a bad brew here. The eats... While I have yet to sample the menu here, I'm damn impressed at the delicious offerings they serve up. I definitely can't wait to dig in to their drool-worthy menu. The space... Located in an old Cadillac dealership, Parts & Labor Brewing just exudes small town auto shop; right down to the itty-bitty piston tap handles. There's ample exposed brick, vintage gas pumps, and automotive touches throughout. Outside there is a sidewalk patio for those wonderfully sunny days. The servers... Everyone is just so damn friendly! They always have the utmost patience with my husband and I as we ponder the tap list and make our selections. The merch... Parts & Labor Brewing offers a wide variety of merch to show your love! Everything ranging from shirts, to sweaters, to zipper pouches, pins, and more! All in all, it's safe to say that Parts & Labor Brewing is all that and a bag of chips. I can't wait to go back, nosh on that menu, and sip on their sweet nectar. Cheers, Sterling!

This isn't the actual brewery, but a really quaint landmark in this cow town

Wound up in Sterling Colorado last weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of brewery I ran into way the heckins out there! It's the town's saving grace if I might be so bold. Everything from the ambiance and the friendly service to the delicious beers and the scrumptious food was as good (or even better) than anything you might find in the Denver Metro area. Well worth the drive (or a visit if you happen to be in that part of Colorado). #highlyrecommend

My husband I were really impressed with this place. The food was so so good! I couldn't decide what to get because everything sounded good. I ended up getting the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and my husband got the Goat burger along with a flight of four beers. He thought the beers were good but was even more impressed with his burger. I have to say that my Philly sandwich was the best I've ever had and I'm super picky about them. The meat was seasoned perfectly and had so much flavor. The sandwich was large and I could only finish half of it. The Parmesan truffle pub chips that came with it were also delicious. My husband liked the Camshaft Kolsch the best of all the beers he tried. At some breweries the focus is on the beer and the food is an afterthought. But not this place. The food almost has a gourmet quality about it. I would come here again and again just to try everything on their menu. I'm almost sad we'll only be in town one night. I'd love to try them again. The woman who served us the beers and food was very nice. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Whoever is cooking the food really knows what they're doing. We really liked the look and atmosphere of the place. It used to be an old Cadillac dealership repair shop. It has a fun, easygoing vibe that makes you want to stay and hang out.

Eaten there two times while traveling. Nice place is a nice town that flies under the radar. Good beer and pub food.

That was the best chili I've ever had. And that's sayin' something. I never post but the chili demands it.

Cool atmosphere, pretty good drinks and service but one of the worst sandwiches I have had anywhere. I'd come back for drinks but not food.

Ask the Community - Parts & Labor Brewing

This place popped up when I was searching dog friendly venues, but I'm not seeing anything on the page that indicates they are. Is this business (or part of it) dog friendly?

Hey Sierra! Thanks for the great question! We are dog friendly on our outdoor patio year round, however with the cold temperatures, we haven’t had much interest to sit out… Read more

I see reviews where this place was busy...not today. 10am on a Saturday morning and I'm the only table. CU game is on so maybe everyone is watching the game? Edit: that's not the case. I drove by J&Ls and it was full, as was village inn. I'm not a coffee snob and lived off shite hotel coffee for months. This coffee was garbage...watery. When I mentioned it, and asked for a cup when there was a fresh pot, they replied, "that's the only coffee we have". The Huevos wasn't awesome but the ham on top, they griddled/grilled and that part was great. Anyway, This place is authentic in service only.

Barely see any places use paper straws anymore, yet here you can find them... love the old school touch... The Good: This seems to be the place for all the locals to go for lunch and you can feel it in the welcoming atmosphere. As out of towners we didn't get any funky looks but instead we treated as if we come here twice a week. Our son's Mexican Burger was very delicious and my wife's Gourmet Grilled Chicken Salad did not disappoint at all either. The Bad: My Taco Salad was more of a ground beef salad with tortilla chips and salsa in the side. It was a well tasting salad, yet not earning the Mexican part if it at all. The dressings on my wife's Gourmet Grilled Chicken Salad were also pre packaged and that surprised us a bit as most places like this take pride in making dressings from scratch. The Ugly Truth: We were very delighted with the welcoming smiles and large portions of mouth watering options for our lunch stop. We will definitely consider stopping in again if we pass through when they are open (see the bfast and lunch open times) it would have earned a 5 star plus if the Taco Salad would have had some type of Mexican taste to it. That being my disappointment dropped it to 4 stars. Looking around all the other plates in front of happy customers we saw, the portions on all meals were more then plenty to calm your hungry stomach. Enjoy if you decide to drop in...
