Parts and Labor Brewing Company was a complete disappointment. We stopped in just before 9:30 PM hoping for wings and a beer, only to be turned away despite plenty of customers still dining inside. Apparently serving paying customers a few minutes before closing was too much to ask. My reply to the owner... Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, your response reinforces the concerns I expressed in my original review. Rather than addressing the customer experience, you chose to dismiss it by focusing on the time we arrived and by implying that my review was the result of me "needing a great day." That kind of sarcasm does not reflect the level of professionalism customers should expect from a business owner. You stated that you personally saw us enter at 9:40 PM and that the kitchen had already closed at 9:30 PM. However, I take accuracy seriously, and I do not appreciate being misrepresented. I have a screenshot documenting the time I left your establishment, which directly contradicts the timeline presented in your response. If the facts are important enough for you to publicly defend your business, they should also be important enough to present truthfully. To be clear, businesses have every right to establish kitchen hours and closing procedures. Had the situation simply been explained professionally and courteously, my review likely would have reflected that. What stands out is not the policy itself, but the way concerns were handled afterward. I travel extensively throughout the United States and internationally, reviewing small family-owned businesses because I genuinely enjoy supporting them. In many cases, when an owner responds thoughtfully and demonstrates a commitment to customer service, I am willing to reconsider or update a review. In this case, however, instead of leaning into customer service and understanding, you chose to defend, justify, and direct sarcasm toward a customer. I can accept mistakes. This place is great! Seems like they get a lot of people just passing thru town, just like us. Food was fresh and awesome, portions are huge, menu items very unique. I had the blueberry balsamic salad and it was huge! They have a kids menu and every item comes with carrots, grapes, string cheese, goldfish crackers and an Oreo! Can't beat that! Very cool ambience - this place must have been an old auto shop. Definitely check it out! read more

Stopped in here on a whim during a long roadtrip because it was storming pretty bad and we were starting to get hungry anyhow It's a super small town so I was nervous about what kind of food we might be able to find but then I saw this pop up with plenty of good reviews! While passing through, we had a mid afternoon lunch here. The beer selection was fantastic as was the food and service, and all very reasonably priced. My lunch sized salad was huge, and I can't imagine how anyone could eat the dinner sized version. For $13 it had a very generous portion of grilled chicken breast and a lot of other yummy ingredients. The ambience and decor carried through the theme of its previous business, which was a car repair location. We wish we lived closer and could visit more often! read more

We travel all over the West with Duluth Minnesota as our home.We have visited many great brewery resturants with a variety of brews. This place rates up there with many but the real rave is the food menu. Absolutely delicious, hearty servings servings and creative combinations. Tried the gouda burger and goat cheese stuffed with spectacular fries and potato truffle chips. We both took a half home so we could move from our chairs. We love going here the food is always great with big portions. The gyros have always been my favorite, and while I'm not a big drinker I have enjoyed sampling beer flights while the tap list doesn't seem to change real often they've all been good. One of the coolest breweries I have been to in a long time. The atmosphere was fantastic. Ton's of seating with many different options from bar, to high tops and regular tables. Ordered Fish & Chips. Based on good reviews I expected a fresh piece of Cod, batter dipped, but received frozen pre-made Cod fillets that were not as good as what I can get from the grocery store. Came in for lunch and it was delicious! I had the chicken bacon ranch flatbread.. its was gooey mealty cheese , juicy (not dry) chicken with the perfect amount of crunch on the bread. It was a long drive that day.. it was coming to an end (for now) and we were looking for a place to stay in the next city. We had had just crossed the border from Nebraska into Colorado and Sterling was the next place. It was a small town and we did not expect to find a brewery, but we were sure glad we did! Cool place in an old building in the historic downtown area of Sterling. Decorated like an old garage inside with lots of seating inside and a small patio outside. They were busy and the staff were running back and forth making sure everyone was taken care of. We started out with a flight of beer and then ordered the pub chips and a Seattle dog. The beers were good.. the pub chips fresh, crisp truffled deliciousness. The Seattle dog was ok, needed more cream cheese and the pickle sat right next to the bun which made the bun soggy in that area (we were just in Seattle a month ago and had a Seattle dog there). All in all a great surprise in a little town.. great service, good food and good beer. A great experience! read more

We went here last night to celebrate my daughter in laws promotion. We were seated immediately and welcomed by our server. We were given menus for food and beer and our server made recommendations about the rotating on tap beers currently available. I had a wonderful cheerie themed selection while others at our table enjoyed "loose lips, and fraulein dunkelweizen . We had the amazing Colorado fries to start . Enough for our table . Fries topped with enough ooey gooey cheese , green chilis, and lots of avocado chema, that we needed extra napkins. we moved on to variety of personalized burgers with Parmesan chips and chicken wings . everything was served hot, on time and attractively. our served was lovely and took great care of us. read more

I've gotta say I'm a big fan of Part & Labor Brewing. After making two special trips northeast to get my fix, I'm borderline a Parts & Labor Brewing addict. There's a lot to love about Parts & Labor Brewing, lemme break it down for you. The brews... Oh man, the brews. I've gotta say the Camshaft Kölsch is hand's down my favorite Kölsch I've had to date. It's wonderfully crisp and clean. I'll make sure I always pick up a can when I visit. Their Peach Poppins is a perfectly sessionable brew, without being over the top puckering. Honestly, I have yet to have a bad brew here. The eats... While I have yet to sample the menu here, I'm damn impressed at the delicious offerings they serve up. I definitely can't wait to dig in to their drool-worthy menu. The space... Located in an old Cadillac dealership, Parts & Labor Brewing just exudes small town auto shop; right down to the itty-bitty piston tap handles. There's ample exposed brick, vintage gas pumps, and automotive touches throughout. Outside there is a sidewalk patio for those wonderfully sunny days. The servers... Everyone is just so damn friendly! They always have the utmost patience with my husband and I as we ponder the tap list and make our selections. The merch... Parts & Labor Brewing offers a wide variety of merch to show your love! Everything ranging from shirts, to sweaters, to zipper pouches, pins, and more! Coming from California I'm always looking for craft beer along the way. Parts & Labor is an absolute gem of a brewery. The decor is really cool as they have many old "route 66" type artifacts all around the interior. The beer was good to very good and the food, the burger in particular, was excellent. After the locals gave me a little hazing for being from CA, they warmed up and we bantered back and forth and they were really cool about it. In short, make it a point to stop here if you are nearby and traveling through. I'm sure the locals don't need the recommendation as they already know how much fun this place is. read more

Wound up in Sterling Colorado last weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of brewery I ran into way the heckins out there! It's the town's saving grace if I might be so bold. Everything from the ambiance and the friendly service to the delicious beers and the scrumptious food was as good (or even better) than anything you might find in the Denver Metro area. My husband I were really impressed with this place. The food was so so good! I couldn't decide what to get because everything sounded good. I ended up getting the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and my husband got the Goat burger along with a flight of four beers. He thought the beers were good but was even more impressed with his burger. I have to say that my Philly sandwich was the best I've ever had and I'm super picky about them. The meat was seasoned perfectly and had so much flavor. The sandwich was large and I could only finish half of it. The Parmesan truffle pub chips that came with it were also delicious. My husband liked the Camshaft Kolsch the best of all the beers he tried. At some breweries the focus is on the beer and the food is an afterthought. But not this place. The food almost has a gourmet quality about it. I would come here again and again just to try everything on their menu. I'm almost sad we'll only be in town one night. I'd love to try them again. The woman who served us the beers and food was very nice. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Whoever is cooking the food really knows what they're doing. So at first I got the weird look vibe, not sure if there are many Latinos around the area, nevertheless, I was hungry and my fat self, seen this joints food pictures, and was like Love at first sight! I had the messy burger. If your the clean organized type be prepared to accept the inevitable. Your pretty little hands will get MESSY! However it will all be worth it! Normally we would not stop at a restaurant so close to our home near Denver. But we had been driving all day and needed fuel. I searched for "best restaurants in Sterling" and this one popped up. I normally don't go online and rate anything. I made this exception because this place was exceptional! My wife had a flat bread concoction and I had the goat cheeseburger & fries. This little brewery was adorable. It was located in the small town of Sterling, sort of behind a few local stores. A bit of a hidden gem if you will. It was located in what used to be "Bill's Motors" which was an old garage/repair shop/dealership back in the 40s! We had my sweet grandma with us that afternoon and she remembered bringing her car in to have it serviced at that very location. I mean, does it get any better than that? Regarding the beers, we did a flight (pictured) and got to try 6 beers for about $13 or so? I don't recall the pricing exactly. But it was reasonable and delicious! My fave was the afternoon delight and the lemon merengue IPA which tasted amazing! They had about 10 beers on tap, including a house-made root beer, which Gamsie thought was delicious Regarding food, we ordered the pretzel sticks which were served with cheese sauce and they have been the BEST pretzels and cheese I've ever had at a brewery. Not joking. I also ordered us the spinach and artichoke dip which came with chips and pita bread - also amazingly delicious. The service was great. The history was awesome. The food was so tasty. Really enjoyed this pit stop in Sterling on our way home to Denver. The beer was delicious. We ordered the blueberry beer and the stout. Both very smooth. The burger the husbeast ordered was yummy. The margarita pizza was ok. I would have liked for it to be more crispy but otherwise the flavors were good. I will definitely be back. We were so disappointed! We have loved eating at this diamond in the rough and even showed it off when our big city friends visited. But today's lunch was not good: my husband's burger was cold, overcooked, and didn't have much taste. And the truffle fries no longer taste like truffle oil. My Cuban sandwich was a pile of mush (way too much relish) on top of ham that was too tough to cut. I have raved about the fancy lettuce in their side salads and today's was an iceberg salad from a bag. We waited an hour for our lunch which would have been totally fine if it had been tasty. I did give it three stars instead of just one because our waitress was super nice, the cherry beer was delicious, and the hot pretzel was a treat. read more

Parts & Labor is awesome!!!!! After a long day of riding our motorcycles my buddy and I like to stop at this place for an after ride beer and some food. They do not disappoint. Last time we were here our waitress was friendly, attentive for a busy Saturday late afternoon, and when she saw that our beer was getting low, was quick to bring the next one. We did let her know with our first order that we were going to go right down the speciality beer list on the wall and try them all. Got some beer, pub chips, beer, soft pretzel sticks with beer cheese, beer, burgers, beer, MADE IN HOUSE ROOT BEER, some nachos, and beer. When she saw us getting served a little too well she suggested the made in house root beer and it was crisp, tingly, and rooty, everything good quality root beer should be. This is one of those places that you can hang out in all day long and people watch while you catch a game. In the summer, the outside eating area opens up straight to the building and you can people watch everyone on Main Street and bring your dog with you. read more

Bartenders were very nice and kept my beer unempty (that's a new word I just made up). I could tell it was gettin towards closing time and decided to get my food to go. Then the owner walked up and assured me that I didn't have to rush. I love that!!! The food: salad was excellent. I just asked for an extra big side salad, rather than a starch, and they obliged. The steak: 16oz NY Strip steak. It took a little longer than expected, according to the bartender, so the owner cut it quite a bit thicker than 16oz. It was huge, and cooked perfectly. They have good beer and are really flexible about how many you try. They have growlers (large cans, not glass) to go as well! I think between my partner and I we tried 5 different ones and liked them all, from Heffe to stout. They also have good food (and a kids menu that includes an elaborate tray of items), some unique burger options.I had the Manhattan Project-a far cry from what I usually order but unique and tasty. Cons: maybe I'm getting old but it was pretty loud/echoey. It's a big open industrial-type scene. The ambience and decor were cool and relaxed in that sense but volume was a bit much. Also, maybe I missed a second spot for bathrooms but there was 1 room for women and what I assume 1 for men. At a brewery that can hold a lot of people, there was a line. Our server was beyond excellent. Friendly, attentive, and dialed. She set expectations by letting us know the kitchen was running behind. My husband ordered a steak, and she immediately noticed it was overdone. The manager comped us 50%, which we really appreciated. He also came out and personally apologized. This is a family owned business, and we appreciated the gesture. My hubby said that even with the steak being overdone, it was a great cut and perfectly seasoned. I ordered the farmhouse salad and loved it! Fresh, generous produce and yummy dressing. We took the chocolate layer cake with caramel sauce to go. We road-trip through here every year.
