Pottery Hollow is a gem! I never knew it was located in O'fallon before my husband and I were looking for a place to paint pottery and found this place through a google search. They have ton of different things you can choose to paint like plates, cookie jars, animal statues and so much more. The prices are very reasonable. After finishing our painting, we were able to come back and pick it up within a few days. Check it out!

I went this past Tuesday - it was the perfect rainy day activity! From the moment I walked in, everyone was nothing but friendly, helpful and accommodating. One of the ladies showed me around. Apparently they had just come back from a workshop and learned some new techniques. I fell in love with one of them and decided to do it for one of my pieces. It involved layering four different colors and using paper leaf cut-outs. I think it took me bout an hour to complete! Such a relaxing process and so much fun! I also painted a small plate freehand. That probably took about another hour. Throughout my time there, the ladies would occasionally check in to make sure I was doing alright. And they were always available if I had any questions.

The host was pretty hands off after that they weren't actively helping get colors for the kids who were all really young. There were only two people painting other than the party at the time. They also didn't tell the parents throwing the party that it would be over two weeks to get the items back until the day of the party and that one person would need to pick them all up. The kids had a fun experience but it definitely could have gone more smoothly and been more organized.
