I know a lot of people have reservations paying top dollar for just a sandwich, but I'd say the quality of ingredients and flavourful sauces is totally worth it. I always get the holy cow sandwich with vamp sauce, but will occasionally get the chicken sandwich with lunar sauce. I did try the lemonade they had once, but to be honest, it doesn't quite fit my palate. The lemonade has some sort of seasoning in it. If you've had lemonade from East Asian restaurants, you would kind of know what to expect. They also give you a discount card that you can show for an extra 15% off when you visit. If you're in the area looking for a quick bite, I'd give this place a shot.

This was a hearty sandwich, well over a pound on arrival I'd say. Unfortunately, it was delivered rather cold but not their fault. The toppings options were very varied and appreciated but the sauce could have been more generously applied. This sandwich was crazy filling. The bread was fresh, soft, and sturdy.. and the patties were flavourful. I'm not a vegetarian but I was very satisfied with them and happy I chose this over chicken or beef options. Pricepoint is a big high for a veggie sandwich but I truly feel there is high value in their product.. Need to go in and remove the delivery from the equation for a clear review

My brother and I stopped by here over the weekend to satisfy my Greek food craving, and needless to…read moresay, craving satisfied! I used to visit this location a few years ago and I'm glad that the quality has remained the same. We ordered 2 plates of the chicken souvlaki, a vegetarian meal, vegetarian pita, and Greek fries. I want to make a special note for our server that day (unfortunately I forgot her name, but she was working on Wednesday evening), who went above and beyond to tend to my picky brother, and to any questions we had! I was super thankful she let me know one of the dressings was made from egg, as my mother is a vegetarian who also doesn't eat eggs. The food was delicious, everyone was happy! I personally had the chicken souvlaki, and let me tell you, the roasted potatoes it comes with, is to die for! They only lost 1 star as the restaurant itself seemed a little untidy, but that was possibly due to just one server working at that time. Maybe the other one was on a break? Not sure. Regardless, I'll be back for the Dolmades meal next! ____________________________________________ Instagram | @6ixstreeteats

I was in the area with a friend who was craving Greek food. We both got the falafel pita, which I…read morethink was decent enough. They gave a large portion of vegetables and put in four pieces of falafels. We went on a Sunday before noon, so there was no wait. They did give a LOT of sauce, so it was a bit messy to eat; I would recommend just asking for a bit of sauce OR grabbing a lot of napkins. One thing I noted was that they charged me $1 extra for the pita (the falafel one was supposed to be $6.49 but they charged $7.49 before tax). I did ask about it, but they said it was tax, which was added afterwards, so I'm wondering if it's just because of food prices going up due to COVID and they didn't have the time to replace their sign? Just something to note if someone else is visiting and getting a falafel pita.

The tacos were so…read moreamazing we had decided to come back here for lunch during a work day, where I got to try their Birria Quesadilla. I've tried tacos from other places and I can still say this is the best tacos I've had in Mississauga. Now I come here frequently with my boyfriend whenever we feel like having tacos. We usually get five tacos each whenever we come. Last week, we came to get our usual. I got a Bang bang shrimp, pescado, the chicken pastor, the birria, and the Thai sweet chili cauliflower. He got two chicken pastors, a Bang bang shrimp, a Carne asada, and a pescado. I tried to order an elote but it seems they were out. I've already tried it before and just wanted to relive the goodness, so it was no big deal. It was quite busy that Sunday afternoon (we usually go on Thursday afternoons which is far less busy) but we were able to grab a table. The tacos were amazing as usual. I like how they use different tortillas for each tacos which complement each the protein inside the taco. For example, they double wrap the chicken pastor, and the birria tacos use a tortilla that can handle the dip. I also love their choice of toppings. I think the hickory sticks with the Carne asada work so well together, and the chicken pastor with the pineapples are so delicious. When we got the chicken pastors that Saturday, they didn't put pineapples on ours, but I assume they ran out. I've actually tried all of their tacos, and my favourites are definitely the Bang bang shrimp and the Pescado. The flavours just hit! I was pleasantly surprised by the Thai sweet chili cauliflower one. My boyfriend was telling me deep fried cauliflower tastes way better than normal cauliflower, and this taco delivered. The Thai sweet chili flavour really works. If you are planning to order 4+ tacos at a time, note that they deliver the tacos generally at the same time. I would resist the urge to wait until all tacos are on your table before eating as the tacos will cool down. Some tacos can handle the wait (like the birria) while other tacos are best enjoyed right away (like the shrimp and pescado). Overall, an amazing place to get tacos. Make sure you also try their other dishes, as well as their drinks, as they are quite unique and delicious too!

Fresh ingredients, great flavor, and the sauce goes so well with the shrimp. I unfortunately underestimated the wait time for this place. I ordered via UberEats on a weekday evening, after finishing work in the area and was floored by the 40min estimated wait time, for 2 whole tacos. I really should have cut my losses and cancelled my order I was only about 10 minutes away but very far from home so I went ahead to double check if the wait time was accurate. They did take the full 40 mins. There were 2 staff on site, but only one person that seemed to do the cooking. Great tacos, but 40 mins is crazy. It's pretty pricey (like restaurant pricing equivalent) so combined with the long wait and slightly out of the way location, Im not exactly dying to come back. If you do decide to go, definitely order in advance. There's lots of parking there and lots of seating. What's odd is when I went, there were only 3-4 tables out of 10+ in use and it wasn't that busy inside the store, so who knows if it's a one off thing or they are always understaffed?

You can get a large one for $1 through the McDonald's app, which will save you a bit compared to a large fountain drink being over $3 at Panda Express. I've seen Panda Express when I'm stateside. I never have had an inclination to grab food there. I suppose it's because it's a chain that serves American Chinese fast food. I tend to visit local Chinese eateries. I have pretty good success finding Chinese food that I like while I'm away. A couple of Fridays ago, I was at Heartland Town Centre. I spotted this Panda Express. I was curious about the food. I decided to check it out. There were lots of parking spots near it. I parked fairly close to the entrance. I was also staring at a McDonald's drive-thru straight ahead. I walked in. This eatery was busy. The lineup did move quickly. All I knew about Panda Express was its signature orange chicken. I wanted to try it out. I wasn't super hungry. I went with a bowl. You get to choose a protein and a base. When it was my turn to order for the first time, I got the most helpful woman. I actually wanted the veggies and fried rice. She said that I could do half veggies and half fried rice for the base. Yes, please! I got the orange chicken as my protein. The woman next to me asked the woman if there was Beijing beef. I was staring right at it. It looked good. I got to the payment area. I looked at a large fountain drink. It was going for over $3. I remembered that if you have the McDonald's app and its summertime drinks are out, a large fountain drink is $1. I decided to hold off getting a drink here and save a bit of money by going to McDonald's instead. The woman at the checkout was nice. She asked me if I wanted to donate to the panda foundation. I love pandas. Sure! She said that most people round up. I did that and added a loonie. She appreciated it. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I did takeout. I decided to grab my drinks from McDonald's and then eat in the office. The lunchroom is larger than dining in at Panda Express and is likely quieter after work hours. The orange chicken was delicious. It had orange sauce that wasn't too sweet. It was tangy and had good flavour. Each chicken morsel was juicy, with a light, crispy batter around it. So good! The fried rice was a disappointment. It was bland. I only tasted the occasional egg in it. It needed more flavour. Maybe I should have ordered noodles. I liked the veggies. They were yummy and I felt like I was eating healthier. I got a fortune cookie at the end. It was nice. The fortune was all in caps. It was fun getting a fortune yelled at me while I read it... haha! I feel the need to return and try more items. I like the convenience of grabbing westernized Chinese food. It's a question of figuring out what's yummy and what I need to avoid. (189)
