Since this place opened, I've been curious. I've seen it in Montreal but never had the chance to try it. For them to come over to Ontario to set up multiple shops, they must be doing something right! The bowl itself was bright and packed with freshness. I honestly felt healthier eating it! My only criticism would be my 3 chicken strips were on the smaller side. I've seen pictures and they all looked bigger than my portions. Oh well. The restaurant is well lit, clean, and fully staffed. If you're looking for a clean eating option, this is definitely it.

One of my recent fixations! Chicken is juicy and I love the sauce (garlic shish I believe). The staff is always friendly and they don't skimp on toppings as my bowl is always full to the max! Will be back soon :)

Nice to see this!! A new chicken chain but from Quebec not USA yay Canada! popping into our Queen West lives. Inside is fast food style with DIY terminals greeting you but with friendly counter service past that. Lots of room inside with lots of tables and even one booth. The idea here is fresh and healthful fast food, beginning with grilled chicken breast in 4 marinade flavours, then brown rice, or cous cous, or for $1 more lettuce or quinoa, then, get this, SEVEN more toppings from a choice of NINETEEN total that I counted. Mix and match too!! I had brown rice and cous cous yummy. To top it off there are SIX different dressings from spicy mayo to something sweet. And if you know Canadian cuisine like me you'll know how Quebec home style dressings get the nod. I loved how the toppings looked so bright and cheerful! Had some of those mini olives, petite cubes of cold pickled beet, and diced sweet jalapeño. I had the basic single flavour chicken option and was $17.50 dine in on my card for a delicious healthful and very satisfying meal.

We went to another restaurant nearby and walked out from there because they didn't have what I wanted. So we were walking on queen west to go to Chick-fil-A but found poulet rouge, quickly looked up their reviews and came in. This is a much better option than the original place we walked out of and Chick-fil-A. It's a fast food grilled chicken spot and they grill the chicken right in front of you. So you get freshly grilled chicken on your choice of brown rice or quinoa or lettuce and lots of toppings and sauces to choose from. Their customer service is very good and they're well staffed to move your food along quickly. We got the bowl with two sauces which came with four chicken strips and it was sufficient for the both of us. One of the girls who works there checked in with us to see how we liked the food which is always good considering this is a fast food spot and we've never had staff check in on us in a chipotle kind of setting. Restaurant itself is very nice, bright and clean and has plenty of sweating. Overall a good spot and a good addition to queen west.

The I Heart Butter Tart Concrete ($6.49) that I ordered was a little too much for myself. I did decide to go through and finish the ice cream / sundae just so I don't have anything to go. The interior of the place was properly though out and well designed. Self order stations are available to order from and the ordering interface is one of the better systems I have seen. When I dined in early afternoon on a weekday it was a rather slow day. There were a couple of Shake Shack employees constantly roaming about the premises ready to attend to any customer request. 1 such employee was thoughtful enough to serve me and a group of other customers some water. I have mixed feelings about the bathroom setup. Yes, it is clean and there were a few toilet rooms available, but it requires a code to be entered prior to using. The door screen shows as vacant but an employee still needs to give out the 4 digit code needed to access the toilets. I also found some issues with the water faucet sensors. It is inconsistently picking up my gestures resulting in an unreliable and unsteady flow of running water when I was washing my hands.

I couldn't let the opportunity pass. The dining space? Bright, clean, inviting. Modern but casual. Off to a genuinely good start. And then... things went south. I ordered the peri-peri chicken with two sides. The wait was excruciating. Not just long--confusing. Every single person who ordered after me was eating while I sat there wondering if my ticket got lost in another country. When the chicken finally arrived, I was stunned--and not in a good way. Easily the smallest leg/thigh combo I've ever seen. Yes, I'm used to USA-sized, GMO-filled chickens, but I've eaten plenty overseas. This wasn't "European portioning." This was kiddie-sized. Flavor? Underwhelming. Forgettable. Nothing that made me pause, nothing that lingered. For a place built on peri-peri heat and personality, this was shockingly flat. I can get chicken with more punch at my local Grocery & Go. The mac and cheese had decent texture--the breadcrumbs did their job--but flavor-wise? Completely bland. Zero soul. The fries? Although well seasoned, we're like warm. Overhyped things rarely deliver, and Nando's sadly fits the bill. Massive disappointment is the phrase that keeps coming to mind

The reason they have "express" in their store name is that the food is usually ready within 2 mins. During busy times, you have to wait until they get to your order. There is a little window where they place food that is ready, and a server brings them to your table (if you are dining in). We ordered the following: A1: Spring Roll 4 pcs ($11.99). A2: Shrimp Fresh Roll 4 pcs ($11.99). M1: Assorted Thap Cam Banh Mi ($8.99). P1: Special Beef Noodle Soup/Pho ($17.99). C2: Grilled Chicken and Fried Egg on Broken Rice ($15.99). V1: Grilled Pork & Spring Rolls with Vermicelli ($18.99). D1: Passion-Mango Green Tea ($4.99). D4: Ice Coffee with Condensed Milk ($4.99). D5: Pop x 2 ($1.99 x 2). The customer service is good. They forgot to tell us that extra condiments can be found on a counter near the washroom. There is plenty of indoor tables, most of them are for two people. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-230

Decided I was going to try all 3 of their banh mi along with the special beef noodle. Wow the baguettes are definitely something special. Super thin crispy shell with nice and airy bread. They can definitely sell the plain baguettes. Meat fillings were generous and tasted great. Both pork and chicken had a nice fresh grill taste with them. Beef special pho soup was also great. The soup didn't taste watered down. All in all a great addition. Place will do well if it maintains its standard. Only time will tell!

This restaurant chain introduced the "Chinese Hamburger" in a crispy bun to Toronto back in 2021-05-23 (soft opening). Very tasty indeed! Plus, they have a wide variety of appetizers. The two owners are from China. The brand was founded in Beijing on 2014-04-08 and now has over 65 locations in Beijing. The Chinese Hamburger is called Rou Jia Mo (肉夹馍) in Chinese, which literally translates to "meat in a bun". It is the cuisine of China's Shaanxi province, which has the capital city of Xi'An (or Xian), where you find the terracotta warriors. For Chinese hamburgers, there are two types of buns: crispy and non-crispy. Most restaurants use the non-crispy buns but Bingz is the only restaurant in the GTA that uses the baked crispy buns.
