My one piece of advice would be, if you see a bargin, grab it while you can as it may not be there next time you go. The staff are friendly and helpful but don't know themselves what is going to be on the next delivery. There is a small car park attached to store but this is often full, there is a council pay and display carpark just across the road. A shop well worth popping into regularly to spot a bargin or two.

We're talking household essentials - toilet and kitchen roll, tin foil, detergents and fabric softeners... I could go on all evening so I'll stop - you get the idea. I love a good cleaning session and this is the perfect place to stock up on my bits and pieces for just that. It's a complete mixed bag of many things that are truly worth no more than 99p and some things that may possibly be worth a pound or even a pound and a penny. However they sell After Eight mints in boxes small enough to fit in the 1970's metal holder that belonged to my nanny and is full of fond memories. Only do I wish that I could give a better desctiption of what can be found on the shelves...as things are so cheap they are all taken within a few days and will then be replaced by other products, meaning that you can never know exactly what you can go and buy in the 99 p store. They have a lot of things which you can buy in Boots or Superdrug and as the name explains, everything for £1. When moving hous this is pretty much my one stop shop, it's a cross between a pound store on one side and right next door is this discount store that sells things for slightly more but are still a bargain. Don't be afraid to haggle too, I always do, and no it never really works they just point at the price tag and shrug but at least I'm trying! I have bought a fabulous soft rug here for my new flat, not the prettiest thing in the world but it was well over 10ft square and only cost £60. Other stuff they do is washing lines, tea pots, random crap that you don't need but suddenly think you do when you're in there and more. Seriously, if you are in the area make sure you pop in. It's a great random store.

I went there, burst into anger and asked for my £14 or will call the police! He was laughing at me what did the police do? When he noticed I was serious, refunded me in cash. There was a CCTV there, recording all that happened. He lied to the police I spat on him and called him a bad name! It is now recorded in the police station. In the future, be aware if he wants to play the race card, he has at least one record in this regard at the police station BE MINDFUL WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD, HE GETS MONEY OUT OF IT WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT AND WITH NO SHAME, IN THE BRIGHT DAYLIGHT!

This is a great little independent discount shop in Kilburn that has been there for many years. It's a located opposite Kilburn Market or to put it another way, a few doors down from the Poundland (http://www.qype.co.uk/place/101385-Poundland-London) pound shop (the bigger/newest branch) and has loads of goods in baskets/containers outside the front of the shop you can't miss it! Norwest Trading sell all sorts of end of line, surplus stock and clearance goods. Everything seems to be heavily discounted which makes it great value. It's always worth popping in to take a look when you are passing as you are guaranteed to bag yourself a bargain! This discount shop sells a range of different products, including confectionery, snacks, soft drinks, batteries, hardware, glassware, toiletries, cleaning products, clothing, toys, bedding (bed sheets, pillows, cushions, quilts, duvets etc.) the list goes on. Poundland is Fabulous.....there are many things in life that are worth paying a bit more for, but…read morethere are plenty of things that aren't, and that's where Poundland excell....like if you wanted envelopes, well, it doesn't matter how cheap they are as long as they work, or Pritt- like glue stick.....I find it great for stuff like that, and they really are ideal for otherwise very pricey toiletries, like if you use a lot of lube, and don't mind if its not Branded KY Jelly, the ones at Poundland cost a third of what the branded variety sells for at Boots, and as all I'm going to do with it is shove it up my arse anyway, I really appreciate paying reduced rates for it.
