Very stressful and also costly because there were things I'd purchased for the party that I couldn't do without help that went to waste. I get it, you're depending on people you've hired to do what they say and show up, so it's hit/miss. The 1 star is because at first, Lauren w/Party Host Helpers, seemed concerned and apologetic, called me to say she is looking for someone to help me that night. Of course, there wasn't anyone at that late notice on a Saturday night. That's the last I've heard from them. Now it's been 3 days. No call, no email, no text and NO REFUND of my deposit. It wouldn't have taken much for them to call or email, extend their apologies again, and refund my money. But, they've moved on and clearly don't care. Now I am stuck holding the bag, investing more of MY time to chase my refund. It's a good idea, but you can't count on it and if they fail, you can't count on them promptly processing a refund. *sigh* Never again.
