A wizard at all things electronic, with an engineering degree from the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu-- in the heart of Transylvania-- Marius Bleier transforms spaces into the entertainment and gaming enviros of imagination and dreams. In addition to designing and installing residential and commercial surveillance systems, B-Tronics also designs and builds smart home automation solutions, calibrates systems, and repairs and refurbishes all manner of used and vintage electronics. I recently had occasion to revive a vintage Marantz Receiver that had been in storage for 47 years. Following my failed attempts to get it operating again, I dropped it off at B-Tronics. Not only were they able to completely rebuild and bring the classic old-school amp back to life - and to original specifications - Marius also designed and fabricated a custom Automatic Speaker Switch Module, for me. Not available on the market, the device allows remote switching between two independent, dedicated amplified sound systems-- that is, my Yamaha home theatre, multi-channel surround sound system, and my vintage Marantz quadraphonic receiver. Basically, it allows me to utilize my existing surround speakers for both amplified sound sources - saving the expense of an additional four speakers. I can't say too much about this remarkable resource and the electronic wizardry practiced at B-Tronics. Check out the scenes behind the man on the B-Tronics' website - and prepare to be wowed. Late the other evening, we suddenly noticed all our overhead lights went out in our apartment along…read morewith a bunch of wall outlets. We reset our breaker but unfortunately no dice - nothing changed. Our neighbors had no issues, so we knew we needed an electrician. Being close to Christmas, we were a concerned about availability and cost. We were pleased to find out the "Swiss Guy" had availability the same day. Aaron arrived on schedule and was absolutely awesome to work with. He quickly diagnosed the root problem, which was a bad/loose connection with one of our smart light switches. As soon as the connection was tightened up, all lights were back. Since we were fed up with our smart switches not working well (they are kind of overrated), he swapped them all out with regular switches. This was all done in under an hour. Once that work was done, Aaron was 100% willing and able to fix a laundry list of other stuff we had been putting off: A partially dead electrical socket, a loose light switch plate in the bedroom, a ceiling fan with intermittent lighting, and a new bedroom light fixture we needed to put it. He did everything quickly and efficiently over a couple of hours all while being incredibly personable. A good quote I recall from him - when I asked him how much time he had (worried he may need to go), he said: "I'm done when everything is fixed!". To top it off, his pricing was an absolute bargain compared to competitors! In conclusion, we were thoroughly impressed with Aaron's service. We highly recommend him to anyone needing electrical work! :)
