So the date change didn't take because the payment wasn't made. Today they said the payment didn't go through because the account didn't exist. when I setup the ach the loan officer filled out the paperwork. Some thought should be given to making progress into the 21st century when it comes to some of the processing certain components of their loans, likewise some of the fees that I complained about stem from their analog way of doing things, but again that's no fault of their employees. I have had this account for 18 years with no problems until recently and unfortunately it was two in a short period. I was told I could close the account and one of the girls at the counter would help me, he then turned away to work on his computer and I felt dismissed. A few days later I went to a different branch where the manager was kind and answered questions. The result was the same but I didn't feel disrespected when I left. After some thought I have decided to close my account.

I came in on a Thursday to transfer data from my old phone to a new one. Diana, the employee who initially helped me, was kind and genuinely tried to assist. A coworker even called me later that evening with an update after Diana had left. At that point, I still felt hopeful. Everything fell apart when the situation was handed off to the store manager. When I returned the next morning, the manager had no idea who I was or what had been going on. Despite me calmly explaining the situation and how critical my data was, he was dismissive, condescending, and clearly uninterested in helping. I was told nothing could be done. Canceling the transaction would take hours and would cost me a $50 restocking fee. Pressed for time and needing to return to Lincoln City, I felt forced to proceed based on his assurance that once an update was initiated, everything from my old phone would appear on the new one. I explicitly begged him not to erase my old phone until I could confirm the transfer was complete. He told me that was "not possible." It turns out my cloud backup only went through 2020. I lost the last five years of my life: irreplaceable photos of friends and family members who have since passed, critical text messages for my vacation rental business, and important documents saved on my phone. All gone. This loss is permanent. It was completely avoidable. And it was made worse by a manager who showed zero empathy, professionalism, or care. I am sharing this so others understand the risk. If your data matters to you--especially photos and business information--do not assume it will be handled responsibly here. One careless decision can cost you years you can never get back.
