When you file your own insurance that payment will go to the clinic. Pay attention - if they cash that check after you paid your monthly cash contract payment then the monthly cash contract is void due to the obligation they have by law to take the health insurance contracts adjustment and payments from your insurance if the doctor is in network with your health insurance. Also if you want everyone in the clinic to know your business, this is the place to go.

At the beginning of the year, I met with a representative from Hurley so that I could pay whatever was needed to insure that was not a balance left when my deductible was met. I paid this amount at each visit. When I finally met my deductible, I was told there was a balance that I had to pay in addition to my 20% co-pay. Now, the day before my next appointment, I get a call telling me that there is a "temporary insurance glitch" on their end and I will not be able to receive my 20% co-pay for this visit either, but will have to pay an out-of-network deductible! I have already paid more than I would have paid as a cash patient all year! This is not okay! I was also told that it is "new policy" to keep credit card information in the computer system so that you no longer have to sign for the payment. When I asked to have my information removed from the computer system, I was told that they were unable to do that and would have to contact the IT company that handles their system to see if they could do it and they would call me back. I have not received any notificationn that this has been handled. Since the management change, the chiropractor and massage therapist I have seen for years are no longer at Hurley. My complaint is not with the new chiropractor or massage therapist, but with the business side of the practice. After years with Hurley, I am sad to say that I will be looking for a new chiropractor cliic where I feel my interests can be better served.

My doctor referred me to a specialist, and he suggested surgery. I immediately went into depression because the things I used to do I could no longer do them without severe pain. Fall of 2018 I met Dr Keith Currie during my consultation he was so precise about my back. The first day of my treatments I was able to walk out of his office without crutches. Updated July 2019- Dr. Englehoven still provides excellent results. I had surgery (not back…read moresurgery) and within a couple of weeks developed an anterior pelvic tilt and low back problems- the surgery was a year ago and after 5 months of physical therapy I wasn't seeing any improvements at all in my lower back. I decided to give Dr Englehoven a call even though I haven't been to see him in a couple of years. Within one appt I saw some improvement. I've been to see him 2-3 times a week at $35 a session. I will continue treatment with him until my pain has subsided and I can walk normal again. I have had neck problems for as long as I can remember. I began seeing Dr Englehoven 3 weeks ago- the initial appt was approximately 30 mins and although they do not accept insurance- each visit (for me- it may be different depending on the severity of your situation) was $30. He did not tell me I had to come see him for 16 weeks and quote me thousands of dollars like another business in west LR. He said in 2-3 visits I should be good to go and then can come in periodically as needed. This was the first time I had ever been to a chiropractor and I am so glad that I did because I can now turn my neck left to right without pain. I'm still sore muscle wise from being able to move my neck further so that will take some time to adjust but I literally could turn my head after the first visit. The sharp pain from my neck vertebrae being out of place caused migraines and was much worse that the soreness I feel now which is getting better each day. Btw the opening hours posted on this site say 1:30-12:00 which are not correct. On the door of the building I believe it says 7:30-12:00. I will have my last visit with him tomorrow so I will take a picture of his hours on their door and post here.
