Love this company. They came out and completed several tasks at a reasonable price and I will certainly be hiring them again in the future!

Men came and did a very good job. Even repainted when supplier gave wrong color. No extra charge. Much superior to other residential contractors I've used. Happily recommended to my neighbors.

Braendel Painting & Services, Inc. quoted me $3,500 to paint my kitchen. I signed a contract with…read moreBraendel on June 5, 2021, and they began the work shortly thereafter. However, the project was not completed until nine months later. I had expected the job to be finished within a few days. Throughout the project, I repeatedly contacted Braendel to address areas that had been left unpainted and sections where the paint had peeled from the cabinets. Braendel painted over cabinets that were more than 50 years old without sanding or priming them beforehand. I can personally attest to this because I was present throughout the entire project and observed the work being performed. As a result, the paint began peeling. I called several times requesting that the cabinets be repainted. Although Braendel later used a more expensive paint, the peeling problem continued. At no point did the owner or project manager contact me to ask whether I was satisfied with the work. Instead, a different painter was sent each time I reported problems. During one visit, I overheard a phone conversation between the company and the painter they had sent. Someone from the Company asked, "Is she for real?" The painter replied, "Yes. I am now painting the ceiling that was not completed." Even after these issues were addressed, the project manager never contacted me to discuss the quality of the work or my satisfaction with the project. Eventually, the last painter assigned to my job, Eric Godlewski, took the cabinet doors home and repainted them. I was pleased with the quality of his work. Before he left, I asked whether he knew anyone who installed replacement windows. Mr. Godlewski offered to do the work himself. Based on my positive experience with his cabinet work, I agreed. Mr. Godlewski measured the windows, purchased them, and stacked them on my back porch. On March 31, 2022, I gave him $4,300, and he provided me with a receipt. After that, I never heard from him again. I was out $4,300. To make matters worse, the windows that were purchased were all the wrong size and did not fit any of my window openings. Because they could not be returned, I donated them to Habitat for Humanity. I chose to work with Braendel because the company had a good reputation. Since then, I have learned that Mr. Godlewski has an extensive criminal record. In my opinion, Braendel should have exercised greater care in selecting and supervising individuals representing the company. I contacted Dan Bishop, the project manager for Braendel, several times regarding these issues. He returned only one call and informed me that Braendel was not responsible. He never responded to any of my subsequent calls. Would I do business with Braendel again? Absolutely not. Shelley Ruh

I met with Doug the owner to discuss painting a large percentage of a newly purchased townhouse…read more This would include painting walls in the great room, all cabinetry in the kitchen, dining room and bar area. Painting of all wooden doors and trim work throughout the home. I was not living in the unit at the time. Before entry into my home, it was meticulous and clean. By the end of the job, my house was trashed. The two men assigned to my home used all three of my bathrooms and there was urine all over the floors near the toilets. I also found cigarette butts upstairs in one of the bedrooms they were using as a work area, and downstairs in my great room. When I mentioned this to the owner, he made excuses for his employees and denied smoking in my home. Now onto the poor quality of the work done. They were behind schedule and I had already rescheduled my movers once because of this. They were running out of time and it showed on thefinal result . Multiple places throughout the home there are drips coming down doorways, framework, and even some of the cabinetry. And very many areas of my home it is apparent that they did not go over the trim work enough times with the paint to cover the wood. There are dark shadows bleeding through. When I pointed this out to the owner, he tried telling me I was only seeing shadows, and that I needed to let the paint cure for another month. because of the vast amount of work that was done here, the longer I have lived in the house the more I am noticing the sloppy paint job. . Areas where the white paint they were using to paint around the doorways actually ended up on my walls, necessitating me to have to repaint multiple areas of my home due to their mistakes. Additionally, white paint spots have been found in various areas of my hardwood floors, in a large mirrored area behind the bar in the great room and windowsills and window knobs. I am beginning to wonder if the proper prep work was done for the wood. Time will tell if the paint holds and does not start to chip and peel. I see myself having to go over multiple areas, including doors, door, jams and frames, and baseboards throughout my entire home as well as multiple areas of my kitchen cabinets and bar area, which were not given enough primer coat and paint coats to cover the original wood. I would never recommend this company to anyone as when I pointed out these areas to the owner, he did not make any apologies but insisted that I was seeing things. Because I was under such a time crunch and had to move in within two days, I had to get them out of my house. There was no more time left for them to stay and do the job correctly. Because of the rush they left a huge mess in my master bedroom , leaving plastic which was taped to the floor for me to roll up and cart away. Another area of my house was damaged greatly by them and that is my main kitchen sink. There are multiple scratches on one side of the sink and a permanent stain on the other side, which is probably from some type of solvent they used to clean their brushes in my kitchen sink. This company also performs ductwork cleaning, which I hired them to do as well. After moving in, I noticed that multiple punch holes throughout my HVAC system in the basement were not plugged.this necessitated them coming back and plugging the holes. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
