First time I went there it was wonderful. Good repairs at a good price. Then downhill each time…read more Took my girls van for 2 repairs an inspection and some wipers and an oil change. $400 seemed reasonable. Didn't do inspection, only one repair and to top it off took 4days longer than they said they would. Said they were too busy, yet they had ample time to swipe a visa for the full amount. My ride had a repair 2yrs ago and now needs same repair again. Found out the workaround they used and they overcharged by $100

We stopped in Roanoke, thinking that one of the many dealerships could help. Though Toyota was open until 7pm, they wouldn't even look at the car, nor would anyone at Ford's "express" service. It was Friday, May 31st, nearing 5pm. I had to be in NOLA the next day to start at my new job Monday. I googled auto repair and found Tri-City. We rolled into the driveway just as the workweek was ending, but Derrick kindly said that he would take a look. He and Les got right down to work and did more than take a look, as the problem did not readily present itself. We sat in the AC while they tested everything, finally figuring out that the AC compressor was broken. Though the day was well over and they were both driving to Richmond that night, Derrick recognized the bind we were in and kindly offered to fix it that night. He ended up having to drive to Salem to get the part, but they worked quickly and we were able to leave by 7pm. Their price was fair and they could not have been nicer. They really saved the trip (and my first week at work!). These guys are professional and honest--if I lived nearby, I would always take my car here.
