(I later looked in the other bays and several others were in similar condition.) We tried swiping our credit card, also not working. We had enough change to get started. While my wife was washing, I went to get change for a 5 dollar bill. Money went in. NOTHING came out. Information on the changer said if there were any issues to send a message on FB. I did that while there (Sunday night). 3 days later, no response. Sent an email to the address on their FB page. No response. Tried calling the number, it's disconnected. Also none of the lights were on in the self service bays.

So he got a 30,000 mile checkup! My Dad called ahead of time to make the appointment and they were expecting us as I drove into the service garage. It was about 10 am and they suggested we come back at 4 pm. Perfect... And off we went! When 4 pm rolled around my Dad and I returned to pick up my car. It seemed ready to go and we paid at the customer service desk. Went out to my car to find that they left the seat WAY back and the car hadn't been cleaned out (the way they always do at the Dave Mungeanast in North County). That's a bummer - when I spend over $300 at any automotive shop, the least they could do is a once over with the shop vac. To make matters worse, they were supposed to do an inspection of the vehicle... which couldn't have been too good because my Dad noticed that I had a headlight out as we were leaving. So we had to pull the car back into the service garage to get that replaced. It took a good 25 minutes to find anyone who could do that for us and the guy wasn't too happy about it. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience. But it wasn't great, either. I suppose if you live in Decatur and own a Honda or Hyundai you don't really have a choice. But I'd think twice about getting Gary Busey serviced here again - they do better in STL.

This seems to be a common tactic with Decatur dealers. Any way I recommend going to Graue (Lincoln)or Baum Chevrolet (Clinton) instead of here.
