Once again, Sue reminded me my information as on her desk and she would call me back after she checks his availability. After two months of not being called, I have moved on from trying to schedule with them. There was no apology or explanation. There was no estimated wait time. We called WK to eval an AC unit which was not working. I was advised to turn the unit off in case…read morethe coils were frozen so the tech could work with the coil if necessary. I followed their advice. When the tech got to my house about an hour later, the ice had melted and dripped onto the furnace. The tech said my FURNACE was ruined and I needed a new 8k one! He took pix of the water and said "the whole thing is rusted" ( How does something rust in an hour??) Now our furnace was only a year old- under warranty- and we needed to get a second opinion. We called another company who fixed the problem for $100 and a new thermostat for $30. The second company said although there was a little water it did not cause the problem. Water had nothing to do with the problem. Problem was that my thermostat was not communicating well with the system. We also needed a new "board." This was under warranty. The entire system is working perfectly. WK is charging us $180 for the service call! We have received emails asking when we will go forward with the replacement!!!! We called WK today and spoke with the service manager who stood by WK's very incorrect evaluation. We feel that our reasonable complaint fell on deaf ears. WK was full of excuses. Watch out!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! We will pay their bill but with protest.

Despite my clear request for a repair or relocation (with photos and context provided in advance), they assumed I'd agree to a full replacement just because other companies had turned the job down. There was no real inspection, no testing, and spending less than 30 seconds just visually inspecting it. They were CAUGHT ON CAMERA discussing my predicament and stated because other companies said no, they were willing to bet i would go for a new system. I made it clear this was urgent--I have a newborn at home and need working AC for health and safety reasons. They ignored that completely and treated it like a sales opportunity. I've since confirmed with other HVAC pros and the manufacturer that the unit could have been repaired. WK Mechanical didn't come to help--they came to profit. Unethical, unprofessional, and caught on video. Avoid this company at all costs.

There was an outlet, and the things I needed to plug into the outlet weren't exactly lining up. I requested a quote from a few different electricians in the area, and Kevin Harrington... 1. Responded instantly to ask for more details. I really appreciate a quick response, and I'm assuming you do too because who likes having to wait around? 2. After he got said details, quoted me the (what I now know is a fair) price of $162.19. That's also obviously incredibly precise, as it was right down to the cent after tax, and I like that too, because I want to know how much I'm going to pay. 3. Requested a few more details and photos so as not to waste either of our time when he showed up to do the work. Warned me that if a few things were the case in an old building, it could run me a little bit more than the initial quote. 4. Showed up on time, fixed the issue quickly and efficiently, and then billed me $30 LESS than the original quote, since the job was easier than he expected. Believe me when I tell you that I would not have had the slightest clue if he charged me the original price. But he was honest enough to charge me what he thought the job was worth. I like that. And you know what? I'm gonna call him next time I have an electrical issue.
