Every step of our experience with HHX and Derek went above and beyond our expectations! When it was…read moredetermined that we needed a new roof, we reached out to six different companies for information. HHX was the first to respond, the quickest to answer questions, and the most consistent with communication. The initial estimate not only fell into the amount approved by insurance, but was one of the lowest overall - especially since Derek wasn't padding it out to line his wallets. Some of the other places we spoke to were quickly inflating costs, adding things we didn't need, and coming out with quote nearly double the insurance company's estimate! There were as few areas of concern that Derek pointed out to us as future considerations but he kept a tight focus on our current needs. Also, when he found issues that needed to be addressed immediately that the claims adjuster missed, he was able to work with our insurance company to get them covered! From there it was smooth sailing. Derek explained everything well and went over our product options with us in depth, letting us know exactly what would be done and how it would improve the quality of our home and longevity of the new roof. Once everything was set, the work was scheduled to start within a week. It probably would have happened faster if not for a holiday weekend in the middle of everything. The day the work was to be done, I awoke to discover his team already assembling in front of the house and preparing to get to work. This includes covering our garden beds, walkways, and other areas around the house with protective sheeting so that nothing was damaged and no debris was left behind. By the time I left for work a few hours later, the old roof was gone and, when I returned home around 5:00, the whole new roof was in place, the property cleaned up, and not a sign left that there had even been a crew there! Again, I cannot recommend Derek and HHX enough! We are so satisfied with our new roof, which is so much prettier, cleaner, and well done than the one that came with the house! We will definitely be calling HHX for our future repair and renovation needs.
