My GF and I work professional jobs and it is not always easy to get time off. Today I was told that Al would come by. I was given a 30 minute notice call and I was sitting at my table working when he "came by" Now he claims to have knocked and rung the door bell. However the house next door is having roofing done so all you can hear is banging anyhow. For whatever reason he didn't call to verify people were home, he just left stating to get someone else. There are three cars in the driveway. I took time out of my day. So following my GF getting the text we called and were told Al was aggravated and he's not coming back. We have a tree that is cracked and leaning, we are going to get the tree cut one way or another. It is amazing to me to see a company actively push away prospective clients. I get that the owner was frustrated over a perceived miscommunication. I can tell you what I would do. If my prospective customer is not there, or appears to not be there I would call to let them know I am at the door. I spoke with a woman on the phone coordinating this, so they know someone is here and available... why not follow up if no one answers? All I can say is situational awareness and perspective matter. You saw and heard the construction next door, you saw the cars, would a simple text message hurt? I get that mix ups happen, but the ego you have to have if a customer immediately reaches out to clarify the confusion and you throw a temper tantrum. It is because of this I am writing this review. Something that squarely sits on the owners shoulders. So now I will have Newcomb come out instead, they at least show professional courtesy. You are not the only one who's time was inconvenienced. So if you are looking for a company that will be professional, look elsewhere this owner has a chip on his shoulder.

They showed up on time and did a terrific job his crew was excellent and even pulled a blockage out of the gutter for me. They were done before noon and other than the yard looking different it was cleaner than before they came. A great bunch of guys! Would definitely use them again.

I had some other mystery bush that was an eyesore as well. Well, when I called DeMore they called me right back and came out for an estimate right away. The other landscape companies I contacted weren't very responsive and gave me a much higher quote. I thought about going to Home Dept, renting a chipper, figuring out how to work my chainsaw, etc... then I got the quote from DeMore. Why deal with all the hassle when I could have a certified arborist do the job for around the same price or cheaper? (I didn't actually price out HD, but it should've been close) Plus he identified my mystery (mock orange) bush. The best part was I left for work in the morning and when I came home all my bush/shrubs were gone! Only a little bit of sawdust remained. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs tree work done!

I did not hire this company to do any work, but I am being billed by them. While they were doing…read morework for a neighbor they cut down a limb overhanging my and another neighbors property. They tried to bill the party that contracted them for this branch, and when they refused to pay they billed me, saying it over my property and that is who pays. I never hired them to do any work, and I never was asked if wanted the work done on my dime. Had they done so I would have asked for an estimate of the cost. They just sent me the bill. I am pretty sure you can find a more reputable service to use.

Father and Son took down this immense double tree which I learned was actually rotting from the inside to my horror. This tree was well over 70 years old. Colonial did a thorough and amazing job and clean up for an extremely reasonable price. I will have them back in the Spring for stump grinding. I highly recommend Colonial for their wonderful professional job!

They left the yard in great condition, even raked down the stump grindings to grade. They worked through all the tasks efficiently and did everything on the quoted price.
