A big spacious park, $15 entry. A nice walk with nice view, people were fishing, camping, or enjoying a picnic in the park

Prado Park is located off the 71 FWY off Euclid. I believe their new prices as of May 2025 are now $10/vehicle on weekdays and $15/vehicle on weekends & special events. $3/pedestrian, $1/dog must be on a 6' leash at all times. They list all fees on their website FYI. The park is huge! It offers picnic facilities, biking, kid's playground, hiking, fishing, camping, trails, and more. It has a meeting room that seats up to 80 people and can be used for parties, or simply gatherings. I also noticed additional offerings such as an equestrian center, disc golf course, archery and shooting ranges. Don't expect to see pretty, colorful flowers but the park is nice and clean. Some areas will have gopher holes, watch your step. Staff do their best to keep the park enjoyable, which it is. Overall, it's always a great, relaxing time at Prado Park.

I take the kids here probably 3-4 days a week during the summer. It's a great place for the kids to run around, fish, catch mosquito fish and just get dirty. We love to go and relax and take pictures and fish. The people that work here are nice and have always been welcoming. My only cons are people don't clean up after themselves and leave their trash and bait trash and fishing line everywhere. My kids find tons of hooks, lures, trash and tons of random things just laying on the ground. If you're going to just fish in hopes you'll catch a ton of fish good luck. We go for 8 hours and will either catch nothing or maybe a small catfish. When we used to go a few years ago we would catch a lot of fish a day. Not sure if they are stocking less but we don't catch much anymore. Just come to relax and fish. Here are a few pictures I took last week while we were there.

This review is specifically for the rental of onsite rv. My husband and I rented an rv here it was spot RV-63. I have rented RVs that they drop off at other campgrounds but this is first time renting one here. The RV itself was ok but maybe my expectations were high because of our past experiences renting RVs for drop off which were much nicer (but more expensive). This RV sleeps 6 but I would say that would be a little tight if it is 6 adults or teenagers. I wasn't able to sleep on the queen size bed with my husband because they stacked two mattresses on the bed and it made it too high for me to get on. I slept on the small couch that makes into a bed but honestly it was more comfortable sleeping on it as a couch so that's what I did on second night. The mattresses for the single bunks seemed like they were after market purchases that were too long for the bunks. If you have sleeping bags I would recommend bringing them because the mattresses are all heavy plastic covered. The bathroom was tight. The camp personnel do a walk thru with you at check in and the woman who did the walk through kept emphasizing needing to clean the rv before checkout specifically emphasizing cleaning the toilet so bring Clorox wipes and gloves (gross). Checkout was a little frustrating because we had to drive to the main gate and then had to wait 30+ minutes for someone to check us out. You cannot call from RV site because we were told their phone system does not work. Would I rent again? Maybe....better than a tent! Cost was $160/night plus $10 reservation fee and a $300 RV cleaning/damage deposit that was credited back to my credit card in about 5 days.

Park is huge! Spread the word. :) https://www.championnewspapers.com/community_news/article_a300814a-c98a-11ef-9483-7f6759cfacdb.html A grand opening was recently held at Prado Regional Park in Chino for a $5 million agriculture themed playground and splash pad, the first of its kind in the county's Regional Park system. The amenities incorporate the region's agricultural heritage, with the splash pad featuring farm-themed water features including a tractor, and the playground featuring a barn, covered wagon, and cows. Fourth District County Supervisor Curt Hagman said Prado Regional Park is transforming into a destination point. "As more amenities are added, the community can stand proud that Prado Park is a place where the past is honored and the future is embraced," he said. The project breakdown was $3,807,185 from the General Fund and $1,198,186 from Community Service Reserve Funds.

No rules. Fisherman park wherever they want, even in front of "no parking" signs. The staff picks and chooses which rules to enforce. Sad. They could take lessons from Bonelli Park.

Lots of shady areas with tables and bbq pits. Very clean park and good prices for entry and fishing. Unfortunately didn't catch anything on this day but may have been the spot we were in. Overall a very cool park to hang out around!

We camp here all the time with large groups of kids. Lots to do. Easy camping. Hook ups. Splash pads. Bike and scooters.

Very hard lake to fish, the water is always murky and shallow. If don't like to move around and learn the lake don't visit.

It is what it is…read more Can't really complain about my lack of skill, because the guy next to us caught 10 trout, while we caught nothing. The only thing I wish they change was to lower the cost, but the cost seems to balance and makes sure that people don't overcrowd the spot. For around $40 per adult. You could do worse in terms of spending money for entertainment. If you go in when they open at 6 am or whatever and stay til 4, it's not bad on a per hourly cost. You'd spend more going to a bar or bowling or whatever. Go earlier for a better chance of catching fish. It's simple logic. The longer others catch fish, means your chances of catching them drop significantly.

One Star - Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more I had a very poor experience at Santa Ana Fishing Lakes. First, the cost: $85 per person just for Friday night camping is outrageous for what you actually get. The restroom situation was unacceptable. The porta-potties were filthy, smelled horrible, and had trash on the floor. This wasn't just "well-used" -- it was clearly not being cleaned or maintained properly, especially considering how much they charge. As for the fishing, it was a complete bust. We were told the lake had been stocked the day before, yet we didn't get a single bite. We stayed all night and all day. We only saw maybe one or two people catch a fish the entire time. For a paid fishing lake that claims recent stocking, that's extremely questionable. Between the high price, poor sanitation, and almost nonexistent fishing action, the experience felt misleading. At the very least, expectations were not met at all. Buyer beware. I won't be coming back, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone expecting clean facilities or decent fishing.
