This park is right next to a gulf course, they have many of tables all around the park to sit at, they have exercise equipment as well as a tennis court that is always open to the public. Plenty of grass space to play soccer as well or other fun sports. I liked coming there for Independence Day celebration with great music and fireworks. When lived in Ontario I went there every year from 2004-2012. This year's was just as good time with great cover band The Ace Band (they play funk, Latin and old school), politicians like Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem, someone singing National Anthem and fireworks provided music by KOLA 99.9. It went smoothly and I had a nice time. Ladies restroom had no soap so suggest bring liquid soap, etc. Ontario Police and Food Court did a good job also. Hope to come again since I don't live near there anymore. read more

Very pretty park...love the coffee they sell now...Very cal and clean park in south ontario

The toddler playground is adjacent to the pool, so I appreciate that my toddler can play as my son learns to swim. However, I don't feel as though the playground is maintained as often as it should be. I've found multiple spider mamas, babies, eggs and most visibly the webs, in the nooks and crannies of the structure. Though I'm not one to freak out at the sight of a spider, I do have concerns that if my little places his tiny fingers in just the right spot, he'll get bit. This is strictly on the "Fireworks Spectacular" event that was held at the park yesterday (4th of July 2017). This is my first Independence Day in Ontario, so I had no idea where any events were taking place. But I came across this one while Googling things to do in Ontario. I'm glad we came! They offered free parking at the Ontario PD, with free shuttles to and from the park. Parking was super easy, and boarding the school buses was done in an orderly fashion. It was really convenient. We arrived and parked @ 7pm and arrived at the park by 7:15pm. The park is huge, so there was a ton of places to setup lawn chairs and/or blankets. Even though there were a ton of people there, we found a great spot! We planted our butts down, and waited for fireworks. Fireworks started promptly at 9pm, and lasted for about 25 minutes. The show was pretty awesome. I mean, I wasn't really expecting a spectacular show in Ontario, but it was decent. I mean, it was free... and fireworks are fireworks. As soon as it ended, we bee lined back to the buses... we still had to wait about 40 minutes to board. They only had 3 buses shuttling back and forth. And there were a lot of people. No biggie. It was kinda great actually... Ontario PD escorted each bus back to the police station... stopping traffic and everything... kind of felt like the president! :D read more

First time here for the 4th of July. Located in Ontario, an all day event free of charge. Parade, picnic, family festivities and at 9pm they provide what they call the Firework Spectacular. Awesome firework show. All throughout the inland empire you can catch a nice view of chino's firework show as well. Best believe I will be here next year. Located closer to farm areas. Tons of parking. Some residence charge $5.00 the closer you get to the park, if the park parking lot is full. read more

I love this park! I love it more for their spectacular fireworks every year on 4th of July! Thanks city of Ontario! The park itself is big and clean! I come here for the tennis courts. There are three courts total. There's also basketball courts, baseball, soccer, community cemetery with swimming pools and indoor courts, workout area with outdoor equipment, swings and etc. you can find everything you need here! There's plenty of free parking. Many people come here both weekdays and weekends. Usually on weekends, there are soccer games and that's when parking is more difficult to find. For the fireworks spectacular, they close down the streets for visitors to safely maneuver around the park. It's like a block party. They also have shuttles coming from Ontario PD down the street. Fireworks lasts about 20 minutes! Beautiful, huge fireworks! They also have vendors come out with music and of course porter potties. Take all of your activities here! Great local, clean & safe park. Plenty of baseball diamonds, tennis courts, play areas, open areas (for soccer & such), & a community pool. The center also houses a community center that offers various classes. It'll smell like poop every now & then but that the price you pay for living near the old Chino dairies. read more

We come here to play volleyball in the adult coed league. The park also has tennis courts and baseball diamonds. At the gym there are two full basketball courts that the set up for volleyball when we play. My only complaint would be that they sweep/dusr the wood courts more often. They have lots of flyers of special events and activities they put on. Sometimes when karate class is getting out there is no parking up close but there is plenty of parking near the tennis courts. I've been playing here for over 10yrs and have never had a bad experience! The only thing you will have to get used to is the stench of Chino... there is literally a Dairy Farm across the street! Also, if your wife is a sucker for kittens, there are plenty of strays in the parking lot. We have taken four over the years... two we kept and the last two we found good homes for! read more

If you're looking to relax, check out Westwind park in Ontario off Riverside Drive. There is ample parking during the day (never been on weekends), nice tennis facilities, and a nice open grass field. The grass field is currently closed for maintenance. My only complaint are the flies. I got bit a couple times. Check it out! read more

Very nice, large and clean facilities in a nice part of town! Parking is somewhat limited, so i recommend carpools as much as possible, because if many or large groups come, it can overload the lot. Great play area, lots of grass...i recommend this place! read more

This was my first time to this park and from what I could see it was fairly cleanly as well as well kept. When you enter from Riverside drive, you will see much open space with a few tables and overhangs for bbq. As you continue along you will see the main center which houses a few rooms for rental, volleyball courts, and I'm certain a few more recreational facilities including a pool. As you move down the parking lot you will see baseball fields which was littered with little league games and families alike. I had attended a birthday party for a friend in one of the rooms in the main facility which was well kept and spacious. The service there was good and the staff was great on checking up on us if we needed anything. Another plus was the room was well cooled and kept me happy personally on a warmer day. Overall, this would be a great place to take your kids and family for a nice day out at the park and as for small parties, this would be a great place to consider. read more

Clean gym. Staff are helpful and cheerful. Love coming here for my son's Saturday basketball games. Recommend arriving a little early on Saturdays, parking can get pretty full when there are soccer games, basketball games, and martial arts. All activities through the city are very inexpensive and the kids have a great time. read more

This park is huge! Everything you need is in this park as far as recreation goes. However if you are looking for a gated dog park, or a skate park, then look elsewhere. They have a community center here with classes and indoor gyms and courts and a pool. The outside is vast with many baseball fields and soccer fields as well. There are children's play areas, bathrooms, a snack shack, walking paths, and even an outside fitness machine area. It does get pretty crowded during the week as many baseball, and soccer games are going on. The parking situation can get frustrating when it's busy, but there are several parking lot areas. read more

This park has the best free 4th of July celebration I've been to. The park is huge with lots of room to sit with your family and friends to prepare for the show. If you decide to come here for the show... Come early, bring a picnic, and be ready to have a great time! read more

I agree that this park is beautiful and the center is great. My only complaint is the parking situation. I get it that it's crazy packed on weekends for events and games but when I am blocked in by another car three Saturdays in a row, that is not cool. They need security stat to make sure people are abiding by the rules and being safe. I have already watched two arguments that ended up coming to blows. Not cool. read more
