We stayed here for four nights while we were visiting family in Clinton Iowa. TNT was happening in…read moreClinton so the downtown RV park was full. This is a nice peaceful spot about 30 minutes away. Most of the sites here seem to be long-term for the summer And our Park homes or RVs with permanent attachments. The pool was really nice and it seems many people were enjoying it. The weekend nights were busy, but everyone appeared to leave on Sunday night, so it was very quiet the last couple nights. Most of the short term sites just have power and electric, but there is a dump site up by the office. The laundry room had two washers and two dryers and worked great during our stay washing was $2.75 and drying was a dollar for 45 minutes. They do have rolls of quarters at the front office. I do have to say that the staff here were super kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. We weren't here most of the time during the day since we were visiting our grandkids, but it looks like the kids here we're having great fun, fishing in the pond, catching fish and turtles! If you have the ability to bring your bikes, I would definitely do that as you are right next to the great bike trail. You can ride right into Savannah or other places. It's a very extensive trail.

We came with friends and we were on opposite ends of the campground, but Mickey knocked on our door and said we were free to move spots to be next to our friends. We even ran into him at a local bar and bought us a round. No complaints only compliments all the way around!!!

Avoid at All Costs!!!! I booked a 5-night stay but left…read moreafter 2 nights because it was unsafe and gross- the room smelled like cigarette smoke, felt damp, and the AC wasn't working properly. Several men were drinking in the hallway outside my room-go to the parking lot or someone else's room??! The hotel advertises a "24-hour cancellation policy," but I was told it only applies before check-in--not 24 hours before any night you want to cancel. This was NOT clearly explained at booking or check-in. When I asked to leave early the staff were unhelpful and the manager was unavailable. I was told that I would have to pay for the full five days. I had to get his staff to call the manager and talked to him on their cell phone. he was rude and dismissive. He finally agreed that he would "work it out" so that I could leave early. Then I was charged for an extra night after I had already left. The manager claimed I missed a 3 PM cancellation cutoff and cancelled at 5:37. Of course the 3pm thing was never disclosed to me. This place is poorly managed, with unclear policies and rude staff. I've disputed the charges with my credit card and reported the issue to the booking site. If you value your safety and money, avoid this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating an allowed us to check in early to get some rest. I am not sure if they know what that meant but after a very long travel day it was greatly appreciated. Staff was amazing...rooms were very clean and they were very helpful through out our entire stay. If we are ever in the area again we will most definitely be staying there.

I think we've been coming to Albany House for almost 10 years -- first to visit family in the area,…read moreand now we bring friends with us. Green County provides a nice getaway, and Albany House is the perfect base for us. There are four bedrooms on the second floor and the third floor is a suite (two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a common area). Their website has pictures of everything so you can see the rooms before you make a reservation. Albany isn't a well-known destination, but if you want to relax, ride your bike on the Sugar River trail, sample lots of cheeses, visit the best brewery in Wisconsin (or any combination of those things), I would recommend checking out this B&B. The breakfasts are fantastic -- enough to get you through most of the day. And now they just opened a cottage (really a vintage bungalow on the Sugar River) across the street with two bedrooms and bathrooms plus a whirlpool tub (in a separate room with a fireplace) and its own kitchen, dining room and living room. It looks really nice (but we haven't stayed there yet).

She went the extra mile! Reese was a cute and smiley toddler. No complaints whatsoever. So many fun things to do in the area. Small town charm abounds. Place was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Complete silence. Lovely space. Well appointed. Lots of original woodwork, marble sinks, faucets, etc. This is a very historic home. Fluffy towels and bathrobes. Soap, lotion and other essentials are available in case you forget something. Treats, coffee and tea were available at all times. Games and books and magazines in the room. Flexible hosts just full of local information. Restaurant menus, maps and information on things to do are available. Just awesome all the way around!
