I hired Josh Dewitt in December 2017 to install fencing in my small back yard because I wanted to…read moreget a dog. I paid him half up front because he said it was to get the materials. The fence was installed by Josh and one of his workers. The day that the fence was completed I was not at home, so Josh texted me that the job was complete. When I was able to inspect the fence, I found that the gate did not open properly and two of the fence posts were leaning, and not just a little. Also where the fence was attached to the garage, it was already coming apart. There was no way this was acceptable and I did not want to pay the balance until it was right. When I contacted Josh to tell him, he was extremely rude and wanted to know why I didn't tell him sooner so he could get paid before the holidays. Instead of apologizing and coming to fix it, he was irate and arrogant. Friends told me I should not pay him until the job was complete, but I stupidly didn't listen. I sent him the balance of the money when he promised to come fix it as soon as the ground thawed. It has been over 3 months now and he will not return my phone calls or texts. This is very confusing to me since his website certainly looks legitimate, but neither his actions nor workmanship live up to what he advertises. I am a retired single woman who just got burned by yet another lying, cheating no good person claiming to be a professional contractor. If you are reading this and have a project in need of a contractor, consider yourself warned. I wish I had been.

I was updating my mom's rental property and needed so many different things done. Kerry and his crew were able to accomplish all of them in a very short time period (always ahead of schedule) and for a very reasonable price. Some of the things Kerry fixed include: garage siding and garage windows, garage door opener, installing new overhead lights and fixing an overhead light from the 1980s, installing a new exterior door, removing an old privacy fence by the patio and installing a new one, and installing a new door bell. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things as well. Kerry and Karen were true life savers last summer. I'm so glad I hired them. PS- they also have a cute dog that is in the office sometimes.

Needed some rotting posts replaced and specifically requested 4 x 4 posts but they brought 4x6 instead which seems like no big deal but the larger posts created issues with the rest of the fence. The person actually doing the work did exactly the opposite of what I told him. For example, I provided specific screws that matched the existing ones but he used nails instead and hammered them in in a random and sloppy way. He also got cement on my bluestone patio and didn't clean it. When I called the office to complain I never received a response, however they were always responsive prior to receiving payment. They appear to me to only be interested in making money as opposed to doing a good job for their clients. There were so many other negative issues with this company but it's impossible to list them all...Just do yourself a favor and steer clear. Zero stars. Definitely DO NOT recommend.
