Our big mature Bradford pear snapped completely in half in the storm (I'm sure you're surprised to hear that, lol). We hit yelp looking for recommendations for an arborist to tackle the tree. Prairie Wind and Tree was the first to respond to our ask for help. Mr. Prairie was prompt, gave us an honest quote and was even kind enough to allow us to make payments to him. Hey and his workers broke down the remnants of our tree, and then came out afterwards and ground the stump. They were quick, considerate and compassionate to our plight. I hired this company originally to take out three very large dead pines. They are great, very professional with their tree work, knew just how and where to bring those trees down whether in pieces or the whole tree. I was so impressed with their skill that I also then hired them to take out four dead oaks. They took out seven trees and 9 stumps, hauled all the tree debris away, raking up even the smallest twigs and leaf debris and raking the ground after the stumps were removed. When they finished, my yard looked great. Their price was reasonable, they were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive but in my opinion, I could not have hired a better more professional company. I would recommend them to anyone, family, friend or neighbor. And I will not hesitate to use them for any future tree work that I need to have done. read more
