I had previously visited a couple Skin Centers for a couple procedures but they are so ridiculously overpriced I knew I needed to find something more my speed, and the speed of my wallet! At the time I met her she was working as the injector at Invigorate. But once I got to my appointment she explained she was really renting space under the name of Invigorate but it is her own practice. She did a great job talking me through some of the services and I visited her twice that summer. When I went to message her in the fall to book a touch-up she let me know she had opened her own place and Beautox Aesthetics was born. I have been out to see her twice since she moved to her new location. She offers some great service and products and is very good at talking you through everything including the uncomfortable parts. However, during my 2nd treatment I barely noticed any heat on my skin. A few of my sunspots actually became darker and I did not notice any improvement. I spoke with Mark and told him about this. I asked for a touchup on the 5 spots that got darker. He said he would charge me $100. I said I was hoping for a complementary touchup for only 5 small spots. Keep in mind I paid $229 for 2 areas for 2 visits through Groupon and he wanted to charge me $100 for only 5 spots. Then he said, "there is barely any improvement after the 1st service". Why would you sell a 2 visit package if there is barely any improvement the 1st treatment?? I felt he did not care about my experience at all.

I refer everyone interested in trying sauna or the salt room here. They are not pushy or sales-y. The team is very knowledgeable and helps direct you when you have questions. Just lovely people to work with. Something to remember with the sauna and salt room - big changes take time. The first session or two might show minimal results. Granted, it was the "luxurious" one but it was $90! I honestly have gotten better pedicures at smaller nail places like the one in Settler's Ridge and off University Blvd. near Tropical Smoothie Cafe. For $90, I was looking for wars to an extended foot massage and massage chairs, both of which did not happen. You have to climb up onto the chairs and it's incredibly awkward. They do not have a lot of options when it comes to color, and not the usual OPI, Essie, etc. Overall, it gets 2 stars because my nail tech was nice enough, but not incredibly friendly. It smelled good and they had fun piano versions of pop songs playing. For $40 plus tip, it wasn't worth it. I won't be going back and will stick to the places I mentioned above!

It ends up being the price of a doctor appointment. I found this place on Groupon in December,and decided to go for it. The drive was a hump for me. I wish it we're closer. The session is no joke. IT'S.SO.COLD. For three minutes it feels like three hours. However I felt absolutely amazing for a week. The place is quaint and clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They do packages. If you have joint pain or different ailments this may help. I hear it's great for autoimmune symptoms. I have thyroid disease and recovering from Lyme. This helped with pain and inflammation. I'd do it again. I just wish it were closer.
