Do not ever use this company. I needed a tow for my Motorcycle. I was told 90 to 120 minutes. Afte two hours I called and was told it was would be soon . I called three times after that then was told they came by and couldn't find It and I would have to do the claim over. They also said they did not have my phone number even though we spoke three times.My motorcycle was right out front. There is no way they came to that spot. I was there for four hours. There is no doubt they lied. Now where the bike was towed to was closed. Lucky me, . Anyway, there are other tow companies out there. Terrible service! Original call they said 1 hour. Called them after 2 hours (1 hour estimate plus 1 extra) they said the tow truck got called away to an accident. New time estimate was another hour. Another hour and a half after that called them again. Apparently this tow truck also got called away to an accident. Guess what the other reviewers said is true. If they get an accident call forget everybody else's service call. 30 minutes later, four (4) hours after this whole event started I called a different tow truck company and they came in 45 minutes, exactly the amount of time they told me it would take. After the new company hitched up my vehicle it had been five (5) hours since the initial call to Pratt's. Give you a guess who had yet to show up? Called them back and told them not to bother, was tired of having my service call pushed to the bottom of the line. Terrible service, I would give them a pass. Don't ignore the other negative reviews (should have believed google), they are absolutely true. read more

Imagine being ghosted by a towing company. We called in an absolute emergency for our car to be towed to a spot 10 minutes away and they were quick to confirm it would be picked up in 1 hr 1/2. I was 2 1/2 hours away from my home on a trip in Orlando and they NEVER CAME. I was on the side of the road waiting for 3 hours to no update that the driver was stuck in traffic or that there were any issues. Very upset. Huge time waster. They were selected by my auto insurance company. I was told 60 minutes. After two hours my insurance company tried calling them multiple times & got no answer. The truck finally arrived after 2 1/2 hr. The driver dropped the f-bomb & a few other curse words within moments of arrival & had the nerve to let me know he accepts tips. He was very professional and assisted me with locating a mechanic to assist with fixing my van. Less than 24 hours later I got my minivan fixed and my family is back on the road. Let's say if it wasn't for the insurance company using this place I would never use them. They took over 4 hours to come get my daughter's car in which they said 2 hours. After 2 hours called they said 90 more minutes. Two more hours later made another call. The woman that answered the phone never gave her name and was extremely rude. Kept saying can I help you while trying to speak. Finally got a word in asked about if they are coming to get the car. She said yes and wouldn't let us speak again then hung up on us no time on when. The issue is now is there needs to be a person at the place the car is needed to be towed at. Wouldn't be such a problem if they came when they said. Now the place will be closed before the truck even hooks up the car. She will miss a 2nd day of work because of this mess. Car could have been seen and possibly repaired already in the time it took for this tow. With no regard to others and being as rude as this woman was. Warning the rest of you seemed like the best option. Just because it's an insurance job shouldn't mean the person needing the tow should suffer because you want to give the lowest bid to get the business. You are guaranteed to get paid and should treat every client as if they mattered. This is why I use C&S towing when I have a choice. read more

Scammers! They were chosen by my insurance to come tow us out of sugar sand. We received a call from them and when we explained the situation the man said we would need to pay an extra $250 on top of what we had already paid our insurance company. He told us to call our insurance back and cancel the tow and then just pay him directly. We asked him if there were any other two companies in the area and he told us the only other one would charge us $300+. I called my insurance company and told them what had happened. They cancelled the tow for us and called a different company, the one the man told us would charge $300+. The second company never mentioned anything about having to pay more. read more

They need to teach their drivers how to drive and use turn signals. I was coming through the round about at Orange Camp Rd and Kepler. I was in the left lane he was in the right. The moment we got through the round about he starts cutting over with no turn signal. He just about ran me off the road. Then he continues to harrass me all the way on Kepler past 44. He is riding my bumper, honking his horn at me, driving on side of road that had all the lines in it trying to pass me. At the red light on Kepler and 44 he jumps out of his truck and I got out also where he proceeded to threaten me, called me a bitch, got in my face acting like he wanted to hit me. Told me if I did it again it would be the last time. Then as he's getting back in his truck he tells me I'm not his type and I'm probably loose down there (private parts). He then proceeded with blowing his horn again at me. The merge lane he was in was pretty long so he did not have to get over right away and should have used his signal. I'm not sure what kind of drivers they hire but they must be full of rage. I'm a 6th generation Florida cracker and I know a lot of people as my family do also. if this is how the drivers treat people, I'm going to pass the word around. And note to the driver...I have a few choice words for you and never judge a book by its cover. He seems like a woman beater. read more

I wish I had read reviews here and on google before I let my dealership's roadside service choose this company. I have been waiting since 9AM for a tow, it is now almost 7PM. Granted there was a miscommunication and mix up halfway through but it's been at least a handful of hours now that I've specifically been waiting on the latest dispatch. Two hours ago I was given an ETA of 40 minutes. I called to ask for an ETA again and just now was told they don't service my area. WHY DIDNT THEY SAY THAT TWO PHONE CALLS AGO?
