I had a great experience and after seeing this location over the years, I decided to call about a leaking tire. The price was great at around $25. Turns out the leak was caused by a 1/2-inch screw...unbelievable. I would give them 8 stars, but they didn't have free danishes and soda. Repair One is a small mechanic shop on Dunlawton Avenue right at the railroad tracks. We have used them multiple times and they have always gone above and beyond with their customer service. Today however, they went even further above and beyond. I had to be in St Augustine for a meeting and just after filling up my car with gas, my car decided to be temperamental. Compounded with the fact that I was leaving to birmingham, Alabama on business Monday morning, this had to be taken care of immediately. Not only did repair one allow me to get to my meeting in St augustine, but they did so with a smile and a graciousness that is often not seen. If you need a repair shop in the Port Orange or Daytona Beach area, this is the one that I choose to go to. The prices are great and the service is honest. We came in off the street because there was a noise coming from under the car. We explained that we needed to travel to Orlando so they took the car back immediately and had someone look at it even though they had several customers at the shop. They were able to diagnose the problem and make the necessary repair quickly. I can't say enough about these guys at Repair One in Port Orange. I was visiting my sister from out of town - - about 20 mi away. After leaving a restaurant, my car wouldn't stay started and kept stalling out. At the last minute these guys said just bring it down if you can get it here and we'll take a look at it. When I was unaware of an on-line coupon, but Kirk told me about it, before applying it to my final price. He and Mike educated me on why it was time to stop repairing an older car and start looking to purchase a newer one. Even made the suggestion and offer to inspect a car before I purchased it. I went to get an oil change the other day and the new shop I was trying (Honest-1 Repair S. Daytona) was a complete sh#8 show! They stated the last shop to change the oil stripped our the filer canister cap after finally getting my car in at 1:30 for a 1 pm appointment. the guy said I can get the cap off, but it won't be pretty and will need to be replace. I told them to pack it up, don't do a thing. It was an awful experience. So I immediately went to the last place to change my oil to let them know what the last dum-dum said. I should have stayed with Justin and Repair One all along! They took my car right in, they got the cap off without a hitch. While there they went ahead and changed my oil and refused to allow me to pay for it. So, I made an app't there for the Cadillac to have an oil change on Wend. at 11 am... where I will insist on paying for both cars having been changed, but it was the first time in a very long time I truly felt as a valued customer and Justin was so incredibly nice. He of course remembered me and the car, couldn't recall my name right off but knew I was a Pastor...(the car was certainly a reminder...lol). read more
