I've been a patient of Dr. Reddy going back to about 1998 when Dr. Reddy took over a practice from a retiring doctor. I was 29 years old. Starting with our first few appointments, Dr. Reddy spent so much time to understand my current and past health, I was almost concerned I was his only patient. Of course I was not his only patient, that's just how Dr. Reddy works, and he works hard long hours. I'm a complex patient with a variety of health issues requiring many different specialists who have performed countless surgeries. Dr. Reddy has been indispensable with his specialist recommendations. Dr. Reddy talks to the other specialists involved in my care, so they all work together to develop a cohesive plan for my health care and to ensure no risks aren't understood and mitigated where possible. Fast forward to 2026 and now I'm 56 years old and in better health now than back in 1998. He has always given me honest to the point advice on how to improve my health and encouraged me as much as any professional can. He helped me set and meet goals. He also holds me to the fire when I could be making better choices. Dr. Reddy communication style is friendly and warm, inquisitive and compassionate. He seems to be always learning and keeping his medical skills fresh with the latest and greatest medical advancements, even 27 years later. Thankfully for his own life -and family, he has recently become a concierge Doctor which for me is even better! No matter what, with Dr. Reddy, every patient is important, the details matter, patient comfort and trust matters. These goals require a doctor who has a true heart wanting to help others, who is willing to spend extra time with his patients rather than build a super sized practice with way too many patients where care falls short and you are just a medical file. The front office staff and the other medical assistants, phlebotomist are always friendly. The office will always work with the patient to schedule an appointment that works with the patients schedule. I can often be seen the same day, sometimes within an hour! I asked the hospital doctor, "Who would you recommend for your own family? Your mom or sister?" And, he replied Dr. Jesse Sadikman. I went to see Dr. Sadikman and that was the start of a wonderful patient-doctor relationship. Dr. Sadikman is my GP or general physician. He is absolutely the kindest, most caring doctor, and such an excellent doctor. He won't give up in finding what is wrong with you, if you are sick. He listens to you and is very thorough in checking for what is making you ill. He will recommend a specialist, if you need one. The office just moved and they are in Bethesda now off of Rockledge Drive. His nurses Lilly and Taryn are the nicest medical professionals you could happen to meet. They are so receptive to your needs. Dr. Sadikman is a concierge practice. So, you pay a yearly fee. The nice thing about that is you can get in to see him, when you need to. Case in point, I had a question about a vaccination prior to international travel. Yes, CDC lists this vaccine and advises to take it, but Dr. Sadikman went much further, asking me about specific conditions I am likely to encounter, time of the year I will travel etc. before making his recommendation. That was most thoughtful. Dr. Sadikman is so much more than other docs who just want to write you a prescriptions. I feel very fortunate to have found his practice. I met Dr. Kwon in the foyer of my condo complex and found out that we had the same last names and that he was a general practitioner. Looking for a doctor, I quickly made an appointment and jetted off to Silver Spring. Dr. Kwon's office was clean and quaint - lots of little old Korean ladies who hadn't quite caught on to the English craze here in America - but hey, it's a niche market and you have to cater to the customer if you're going to survive. Very friendly, gets back to you quickly, and doesn't talk down to you when you ask a question. I have kept him on (even though I've been using the VA medical center lately too) as my doc and will continue to go to him in the future.

A Dr. Patel emailed me saying she was filling in for Wexler and would send a script into CVS Specialty for me. That was over a week ago, and I still have no medicine because CVS Specialty claims Dr. Patel sent them an incomplete script. I sent a message regarding this to Dr. Patel, and all I got was an out of the office response. So, the circus starts all over again. I am disappointed with MedStar to allow such poor care to be acceptable. Their doctors are overworked, and I wonder if Dr. Wexler even has a staff based on the nonresponses I've received for so long. It is unbelievable ill people must go through so much just to get a prescription. If you want a doctor who responds to your needs, look for someone who cares enough to read his e-mails and has a staff who calls back.

How you interact with them and how friendly you are will make them remember you when you call or send a message.

He outsources his reception service, so when you need him for something urgent, he is nowhere to be found. He has an app and communicates through that... If he communicates at all. I requested 2 referrals and neither have been processed. One was never responded to. I've left him several messages through the service, and he's only called back once. This spanned over 4 months. Recently, I had an emergency and needed a referral. Even my insurance provider was not able to reach him. I ended up spending $250 extra dollars to see Urgent Care, another PCP, and a specialist when it should have been just Dr. Epstein and a specialist. This is absolutely unacceptable. Really nice guy but what's the use if you need to move heaven and earth to have your problems resolved?

I gave them my new insurance card that has the same member ID as the old one but a different group number than my old card. After my appointment, I noticed that my bill was pretty high and saw I was charged $176 without my consent. This seemed really odd and I called my insurance. I found out they used my old insurance information from my older plan that is no longer active. That's why I owed the full amount. I called their billing department and gave them my new insurance information so they could resubmit with my new insurance information. They said this could take a month or two to process. We're getting close to two months and I have yet to get reimbursed the $176. I was recently told by one of the billing people that one of my claims is in appeal and may not get approved which means I may have to pay the full amount. I told them this was unacceptable given this wasn't my mistake but theirs. This whole thing is stressful and should have never happened. The front desk people need better training because this was a super careless mistake. I'm dealing with so many health issues I really don't need to worry about something else. I get the sense they're short staffed and need to hire more people. I switched to Capital Neurology and Sleep Medicine. My experience here has been a lot better. The front desk people have done ok and my new doctor explains things in detail, is kind and friendly.
