By now if you don't know that Hobby Lobby is a good place to spend an exorbitant amount of money on…read morethings that you don't really need, then you must be from outer space. Also, if you didn't know they are always closed on Sundays, well now you do. This location in a plaza in the middle of Hobbs, NM, has not always had the friendliest service. It seems to be improving ever so slightly, though. Their larger frames in the back of the store all seemed to have some damage to them on 7/25/2023. Perhaps I was just being picky. While it may seem like they have quite a bit of inventory, it never fails that they are either completely out or low in stock on certain items. So I resort to Amazon. And let me tell ya' - in this small town that's a love/hate story in and of itself. TIP Almost everything goes on sale at least 40% off at various times each month. If frames aren't on sale 50% off one week, then try the following week. Or just ask an associate. Parking is free & abundant. Fall decor is now overflowing the shelves... with temperatures in the upper nineties, this is just teasing.

She answered all of my tedious questions about some of their holiday door panel projects. I ended up buying one to try because she was so darn nice about it. Seriously, that won me over. Customer service in the Hobbs are leaves so much to the imagination that I was just blown away! This store is impressively clean and pretty well stocked. I go there maybe once every 6 weeks but will be going more often now because they are winning me over.
