This is a repeat listing for the same company. So this is an interesting company. It's run by a guy who is totally by the book. He travels throughout the area helping solve big and small plumbing issues for homes and businesses alike. The price your are quoted is what you will pay. He has a skill you don't have. Keep that in mind. He's worth it. I called him with a pipe issue and he came and gave an estimate quickly. He's very polite. His estimate seemed reasonable, but I don't really know about this stuff. He returned calls quickly. My travel schedule got in the way and I wasn't able to use him. But I would certainly try again if needed. read more

FIND ANOTHER PLUMPER! Until recently I was using the services of Frank the Preacherman for over 9 years. 9 years ago Frank installed a storm water trench and did a major plumbing renovation to my seasonal cabin, since then I've been using Frank annually to winterize my cabin and any other minor plumbing issue, until today. This past weekend the ejector system he installed during the plumbing renovation stopped working and caused the basement to flood. When I contacted him via text he replied was out of town for the weekend. I asked him to look at the pump when he returns (he has his own access to my cabin). Frank texted back and gave me a text lecture regarding a different pump that I never repaired and stated if I don't care he can't care for me . . . not sure what that was about. After 2 days of not hearing back I texted again asking if was going to have time to look at the pump this week. I received a text back explaining how busy he is and he is a COD company only and will provide no work unless the homeowner is there to pay him M-F 8-4:30 . . . after 9 years of service, knowing I'm not able to be there M-F that's the response I received. So much for his customer service, especially to someone he's been working with for 9 years! Find yourself another plumber! read more

Preacherman plumbing installed all the new plumbing, heating, gas lines and furnace into our new home we had built. He did an outstanding job, showing up to work everyday on time, and even working through a motorcycle accident he had. He did not complain but kept on working to ensure our home was completed on schedule. He was always quick to respond to any text or call, is very upfront about costs, and is great with communicating. Any questions we had he was sure to explain, he was also very good with allowing our kids to watch him work and explain the processes, which was a plus. Preacherman Frank, without explanation or cause, abruptly stopped returning my calls for service, including during a 2016 emergency overflow of water in my basement and my recent (2017) call for boiler service. This, after I've paid him thousands of dollars to install what was a new boiler, new plumbing/piping and a new dishwasher; and to have him do routine boiler servicing and meet miscellaneous other heating/plumbing needs over a 10-year period, starting in 2006. This kind of treatment is unconscionable, wholly inexcusable and just plain bad business. I'd advise anyone to choose a company other than Preacherman. For me, Frank has proven to be quixotic, unpredictable, unreliable and hardly the Jesus-inspired and-driven businessman he claims to be. read more

This review is way overdue: This past summer I was prepping for the sale of my house in Rock Hill. I had an exposed pipe above ground that I had rigged up because the sump pump drainage was blocked. I called a very 'competent' plumbing service in the area that my realtor recommended. I had to call twice, and both times they were a no-show. I then did research and found Preacherman. He called me and sent a tech the very next day. The job was done quickly and affordably. I will not give the name of the other plumbing outfit but I WILL give my highest recommendation to the Preacherman! read more

I keep a second home in White Lake where I live most of the warm weather months and a few weeks over the winter. I arrived on a Friday afternoon, one week before Memorial Day and proceeded to do the customary tasks. One of these task is to flush out the hot water heater in order to eliminate the deposits associated with well water. Nothing. Zero. Nada. The sediment had hardened to the point there was no water coming out of the drain faucet. I called my propane company (HVAC) and was told they do not service hot water heaters. Then I called a well known local plumbing company and was told that they had a three week wait period for service?! Time to use the yellow book, yeah it still comes in handy, even in the age of Google. I called Preacherman Plumbing and Heating and instantly spoke with the owner/operator who apologized for not being able to come right away. But he told me he could be at my home by 8:30 the next morning. As he said, he arrived at the agreed upon time and proceeded to resolve my issue. He was done in about two hours, and his charge was exceptionally fair! And no extra charge for an "emergency call" nor Saturday rates. I highly recommend this company and will be using his expertise for a different job I have in mind. His motto is for real! read more

Frank responded quickly and did all he could to get our furnace going, including calling in an electrician and staying for hours longer than expected to make sure it got done. He is truly a man of his word and charged us much less than he could have for the time and parts he put in. Honest...hard working...does the right thing. I recommend him very highly. read more

Hi I have been using Frank for 2 years and have been more than happy. He returns calls immediately shows up on time and does what he says he will do. The first time he came he figured out that I had 4 cracks in my furnace and was leaking bad fumes that could of been deadly. I had a previous plumber for 12 years and he did not diagnose this serious problem that could of been deadly.. Frank installed a new furnace a few days later. He was very fair priced and got the job done. Then he gave me a free cleaning the following year. I then used him a second time to install a new toilet bowl. The old plumber could not diagnose the problem I had with it and Frank had it figured out. He again showed up on time called on his way to let me know he was coming and installed new one very easily and took away old one. If he cannot respond right away he sets a time when he can get there. He has always been fair with his prices. My neighbor also uses this company. We called 8 plumbers, and Frank was the first to call us back. We had no hot water in the shower. Frank determined it was a faulty switch that was not letting the hot water through. Since he didn't have the switch needed, Frank took the switch apart and REBUILT it. It worked perfectly, and we did not need to buy a new fixture setup.
