They had a decent selection of anime, Hello Kitty, and Kpop items. I walked around and found some nice things to include in a gift. Based on some reviews I saw, I did expect a bigger Kpop section but it was pretty small. The store was cute, extremely well organized, and the person working at the register was so friendly. Some of the prices are a bit steep but I honestly expected that. The store is a nice little drive away but I would likely go back.

The store is very large (two stories) and so well stocked. We found lots of classics that we remembered from our childhoods and even made a purchase for ourselves (toys are for adults, too, right?). If you need to purchase a toy for someone or if you're just looking for something a little fun as a treat, stop in. They might have something surprising and fun!

We surprised our daughters with a Friday afternoon trip to Old Ellicott City to visit this toy emporium I saw on Instagram. We were met with what I believe to be the largest selections of squishables I've ever seen. I even left with a sizable one myself. My kids were pleasantly surprised by all of the options and had fun exploring both floors of this establishment. The prices were on the higher end in comparison to Amazon but who wants to wait for the mail when you can just go home with what you want? :-) There appeared to be only one person manning the place at the time but he was friendly. It wasn't busy at all. I heard it's only been open a year or so and I can see the growth potential if we keep spreading the word about this hidden gem. I have enjoyed getting gifts for my daughter and all of the little kids in my life. However, I came in yesterday looking for a Balance bike for my daughter for her second birthday. I found one, they only had one left, and I bought it. Unfortunately, when I got it home although the box said that the seat was adjustable, it was only adjustable forward and backwards, not up and down.Which is a bit odd considering it says it's for 18 month to four-year-old children. My daughter was too tall for the bike. I brought it back today because there was no way she could use it. The girl who sold it to me yesterday said no problem and then she got another woman to come help me. I assume this is the store owner(a middle-age woman behind the counter). She was incredibly rude. She told me that she's gonna have to eat the cost as a small business and rolled her eyes, and then said that it's not actually returnable, but that she would give me a refund. Ok? You're mad at me? For doing business with you? Because something had what seems like false advertising on the box? It wasn't broken, but it did not adjust. I'm not sure how a four-year-old would be able to use that bike (The age was 18 months to four years old with an adjustable seat). Considering that seat doesn't adjust up and down makes it a bit odd to advertise such a large age gap. I left the store thinking that she was clearly mad at me and upset that I had returned the bike.That attitude at a children's store is just not the way to do business. As a business owner, sometimes that's just the cost of doing business. Sometimes you have to do the right thing regardless of whether or not that is in your financial best interest. I don't think I'll be back to shop here anymore. Which is too bad because I love supporting local businesses here in Baltimore.

It reminds me of walking through the aisles picking out toys, especially around Christmas time, flipping through the catalog and dreaming about what I'd get. Even though the store is smaller than I remember, it still has that same charm. It's really special to now bring my own child here and share a little piece of that joy and excitement with him.

After they went bankrupt, closed up shop and moved out of every market, to see them back was wild. But, let's not get ahead of our selves here. This reiteration, not the 'inside Macy's' one, but this one, isn't all it is cracked up to be. You have to remember that before the bankruptcy these were standalone big box stores. Now, you are attempting to cram all the nostalgia into a smaller setting inside the mall. The best way to describe this, is KB Toys on steroids. They are a bit bigger (I saw another one at another mall after this stop), but the stock is limited to the amount of space they have in the storefront. It was fun to be back in one of these, but at the same time it was a bit overstimulating. They have all the major brands, but with the limited shelf space, you are not going to find exactly what you want. And the pricing, typical mall pricing. Some items were double what you could find it elsewhere or online. I was able to snag a few steals in here, but for three items, it was a bit much. I did, however, meet the threshold to award myself a free reusable bag. I hope they stick around after this, and maybe they will migrate back out of a mall setting. I don't see this being a place that would survive in just a mall setting. Although it does add to the overall mall aesthetic.

In a clean freak frame of mind this place may give you a panic attack and claustophobia. The items here are used/preowned with minimal wear or tear. I saw some boys shirts for about $5 and so forth. Endless clothing items, shoes, purses, and even a toy section in the back. Cool place for the right consumers. I was surprised by the amount of parents inside. I guess that's how some people save money and they don't have to know it's used. I spotted a brand new pair of ice skates! old school G.I.
