At first I fell in love with this shop while out in Tarpon Springs and spent over $500 here across two visits. Unfortunately, the customer service does not match the storefront. A $12 bracelet I bought broke almost immediately while I was at the park with my grandkids. When I went back to simply get a replacement, the staff gave me an incredibly difficult time and caused an immense amount of unnecessary stress over a minor transaction, even though I was accepting a cheaper replacement size and had my Receipts! To make matters worse, when we went back to the park afterward, we actually found several of the lost beads in the grass. A few days later, we even found more of the beads along with the snapped elastic band, proving it just completely fell apart. I have the receipts and the broken pieces to prove it. The level of hostility I experienced as a high-spending customer was shocking. I won't be returning.

A family business, still going strong for decades, that guy with the white crew cut is "Bob," the owner... ...and Bob has more information about ANY retro hobby than you can imagine! His selection of old and new plastic model kits is the stuff of legend. I have brought out-of-town friends here just to browse for kicks, and they always leave finding something of pure wonder! While not my passion, Bob is also the guy to go to if you are into ANY radio-controlled sort of hobbies whatsoever! Car, plane, boat, etc... He is an RC expert! HoH's inventory is vast and impressive. But if you can't find it here, just ask Bob and he will gladly order it for you! I wish more parents would encourage their kids to put down the video game controllers, and build a plastic model kit. An afternoon of glue and paint can be FAR more rewarding than just silly and hollow, temporary pixels on a screen. How much more rewarding? Actually, I now run a small side-business, making and selling my own sort of "model kit" related art objects. While he may never know his impact, Bob the owner here, is one of my main influences that introduced me to the joy of building and painting objects with my own two hands! So please give HoH a visit! From the outside I was hooked by all the quirky, sarcastic, fun signs and hoping for more of that vibe inside. However, it mostly clothing and jewelry, mainly in neutral tones (clothes) or statement pieces (jewelry). It also felt jam packed with inventory. I'm not sure if the shop was in the midst of restocking or resetting the floor displays, or if it's always that way, but it was definitely hard to navigate. The woman working was kind with her greeting and easily available as I browsed, but sadly this just doesn't seem like it was the shop for my tastes.

So you need to watch for it. Wow! When the owners call it a Toy Emporium, that's a real understatement! There are so many items placed in side rooms and all over the place, I have not seen this volume except in large dealers at the Tampa Comic & Toy Con! And these are not "toys" so much as Collectibles. Their stock includes classic car models, Hot Wheels, miniature figurines, super heroes, trucks, games and lots more. All the rooms and displays have themes. Imagine a whole room filled with nothing but Hot Wheels collectibles, old and new. It feels a little claustrophobic with so many displays in small rooms. They do have comics but not in the normal sense. There are more than 20 long boxes of comics, each can hold up to 150 comics. These are all for $1.00 each, or you can buy an entire box for $60, and you pick the comics. I admit I did eventually walk out with a long box of comics. These are basically to donate to several charities such as Comics For Kids, for kids in hospitals and treatment centers. Also Comics For Military for traveling military members in USO locations. A great place to check out if you have any interest in Collectibles.

They have a full herbal apothecary with essential oils as well. There are 'intuitives' on site doing readings all the time, and the owner (Kim) appears to be very selective in who she allows to operate from here...They also have a huge jewelry and "craft tool" section. When I say "everything" I mean it...books, fairy clothing, tarot decks, amazing original artwork, bags, hats, wall hangings, candleholders, staffs, pouches, rocks & crystals, potions, wands, you name it! AND... everything is reasonably priced...a very rare thing in a metaphysical store. The atmosphere is SO chill and inviting. There is a great sitting room in the back for relaxing with a book or two for a bit. The backyard (they have open rituals and other events back there) is like some kind of peaceful fairy wonderland. I have been coming here for a couple years now, and could not recommend it any more highly. It just feels like "home" every time I walk in the door.
