But far as what we expected far as the tables, we did not get what we asked for she told us she was gonna put the silverware on the plates and it would look very elegant because she ran out of time because she wasn't there on time. She just threw the gold silverware, and a bucket at the end of the buffet table, never put him on the plates. The tables were very plain. It was just a glass bowl with some flowers and the plates. And stuff we gave, or there was nothing to make it look elegant on top of that. She told me she would. She told my daughter-in-law she would be there at 9. If anybody wanted to bring stuff to leave it off, drop it off any vendors, they were welcome to come. Why drove all the way there? From pamira to drop them off, she was not there. I waited, she was not there. My daughter-in-law tried to call her 3 times she never answered. Then, finally, she texted my daughter-in-law and she told my daughter all right, well, you should have let me know you were coming. Excuse me, it should have been the other way around. We never asked her to come early. She suggested that she was gonna be there. And we could, and then she didn't show up and tried to make it like my daughter law's fault for going. They are at 9, when that's what she said to do on top of that. When I got there at 5, she was still decorating. She was on the floor doing balloons and putting tablecloths on when I walked in the door she just looked at me and said, what do you need at that point? I thought huh, I said nothing now. And I don't know, I just got here, never said, hi, I'm the party planner, is everything to your expectations. What never said any of that? And then she walked away. So I said to her, excuse me, hello, and then she came back out. I said, I need a table. Why only got one. Can you I said? That's fine, but I don't got a tablecloth. I said, that's okay, I brought some just in case this happens. And I brought a smaller table, then she left never said, anything else. I asked her. I said, is there a Back Door she said, yeah, you don't use that one, use this one. I'm looking at her. She's just pointing, I'm like, okay. She walked away again. Nothing was inviting. She was very rude, and I mean, rude, then she walked away. I went, and I just got the stuff, and started bringing in other vendors that came was bringing in stuff, she never told him it was a Back Door she kept letting them walk through the front, which I don't fault her for that. Because that's not really her problem. I guess but trust me, I've done plenty of parties at venues, and I've had party planners and everything. And the people that I have ever worked with were very professional, they asked me, did I like the everything that I liked the setup. Did I need them to change anything before they left? She did nothing, she could have cared less. The point with the silverware, if she ran at a time she could have just said, listen, i'm running out of time because she was still there.When the guest, we're still coming in the door at six i said, do you want me to still put the forks on a table or what she didn't? She throw him in a bucket at the end of the food table and walked out, took her couple pictures and left. She had no hospitality at all. I don't know how people or hearsay said that she knows how to greet people. She's very good with with communication. She's good when it came to communication about her money, but other than that. Her communication skills, her people person skills are horrible. She's very rude and does not greet anyone with kindness you feel why am I here like I'm standing here? Looking at someone that's looking at me like I'm crazy or something. I felt so uncomfortable when I first came in there and we paid a lot of money.It was terrible and again, i've grown.Many parties and many events.And i've had great party planners and had beautiful events.So hers was not that great.It was it was great for my my granddaughter, because it was her sweet, 16, and we made it work. And the little things she never knew about, but I let you know, if you're looking for a person with hospitality, don't rent that venue, and I'm just giving a true review. It's not about money or anything. It's about the greeting, and if you can't finish something you let people know. If they still want it, you don't just assume and throw it in a bucket. After we spent so much money on silverware, we could have put it down ourselves if she'd have just said, so if she felt uncomfortable because the guests were coming. But again, her hospitality was horrible. The reviews weren't here were hers saying people saying she's very sweet and she comes to people and she's there, I guess there are family because that was not the case she never presented herself as the owner or anything. Inside is a very modern nicely decorated hall. It's also very clean. The staff were wonderful, they kept the food hot, the bar tender was all smiles and very upbeat, and I never noticed a speck of unattended empty dishes/cups. As the wait staff promptly cleared our plates, they kept the buffet food line hot and neat, the cakes were to die for! I mean they should be on one of those reality television shows about cake battles! I'm certain the organizer of this party I attended will have more parties here. This place is in a great location with a private lot. We had over 100 people and the bathrooms stayed fully stocked/clean. This staff was so excellent that when the party was over and the lights were turned back on, the place was already sparking clean. (we weren't a messy group but you'd think we all just arrived!) Some food for thought, we did bring our own soda and we hired a DJ (http://www.supremeproductionz.com/) who setup the lighting and speaker system. We rented the hall from 7 to 12 so you are able to have late parties here. While we certainly give credit to the lovely couple and their families, Brigalia's certainly played a large role in making it an unforgettable affair. The facility is more of a complex, with separate buildings where ceremonies are held that are connected by cobbled walkways, as if they were illustrations in children's storybooks. We're talking beautifully manicured landscapes and structures that fit neatly into the complex, so lots of opportunities for some great photo ops! The reception was held in a large ballroom with an amazing lighting package that would rival Taylor Swift's wedding at MSG. The room itself is a large open space with a grand staircase, very tastefully and formally decorated. Now darlings, be prepared to chow down. The fare is abundant, decadent, and delicious. Come here with the expectation that any diet you might be following will be thoroughly negated, and hours and hours of Stairmaster fun will follow in the days ahead, but it will be worth it. I have never heard of this place until my daughter was recently invited to attend a Descendants…read morethemed birthday party here by one of her girlfriends from school. We parked nearby in a parking lot that's free on weekends. Upon entering we were immediately greeted by a staff member and handed her our gift. My daughter sat down in a circle with the rest of the kids talking with Joy (the name of the manager. I found this out because my daughter will be having a birthday party here soon and she helped me plan my event) The party was hosted by Joy and her assistant, a younger girl. They both seemed very enthusiastic and energetic. They tried their best getting all the kids (boys and girls) engaged in their activities, making wishes, story telling, dressing up, twirling, and even a parade around the whole place. Boys were given options of "boy " costumes ; Spider-Man, firefighter, etc. Girls had a wide array of pretty dresses to choose from. As soon as I saw how happy my daughter was during all of this, I knew she would probably be asking me to have her party here as well. (And I was right!) the party was 2 hours long but seemed to fly by. It was adorable watching all the children use their imaginations and just have so much fun. After checking out their website and emailing Joy, I realized they have so many different options as far as party themes go ..from LOL dolls, unicorns, all the Disney princesses you can think of to basically anything. You can even include a tea party. We are going with an Elsa/Frozen theme and fingers crossed I hope our party will turnout as great as the one we attended. I am not the best host, and this will be my first year having a birthday party completely hosted by strangers that I'm paying lol. Now I don't have to worry about cleaning my place for days, setting up, cleaning up after the party, coming up with fun games, and when the times up everyone leaves. I'm hoping it will be an unforgettable experience. Joy was very easy to talk to during the meet up. They take a $75 deposit from you and then they customize invitations for you which you can just print out at home. We went over all the details and she was patient with my questions and concerns. Now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I get some rsvps back soon:) it's $395 for 10 kids but that's just the base price for the two hour party. 20 kids max. I think they also have an option for a shorter party for a little less. It's $15 per additional child and includes pizza and paper products. You have the option of bringing in your own napkins which I will be supplying. Elsa themed everything is what my daughter requested, so Elsa themed everything is what she will get) there are so many add ons. Each child will be doing an art project. Super hero themed one for the boys and unicorn headbands for the girls. Someone dressed as Elsa will be attending and hosting the second half of the party which is an additional $119. My daughter also wanted Ariel to attend but I was advised that it would be a clash with the two princesses. I'm glad they were honest with me instead of just throwing a mermaid costume on another employee just to rake in some extra bucks. I am happy to pay whatever if they do a good job! They also can paint nails which is 5.95 per child. If you want each kid to have a balloon that will be $1.50 per child. Also added on a birthday banner. There were so many options I could sign up for I don't even remember what I signed up for lol. No outside balloons permitted. I was told I can bring in water bottles for adults and additional food if I wanted to. They will be supplying the pizza. Any extra pizzas will be 12.95 per pizza. That's a great deal for a pizza, I hope it's not frozen Ellios pizza. Juice boxes are provided for the kids. They have an option where they can give the kids each a goodie bag for 5.95 each. I wanted to add my own personalized touch so I will be making my own goodie bags which they do allow. I enjoy doing things like this, it's a lot of fun for me. When I asked how early should I arrive the day of the party, I was told to come no earlier than 10 minutes before the start time of the party with the cake and my child I was a little surprised. They promised me I'm in good hands and I'm really excited/anxious/nervous/happy We are all booked and ready for the party day. The ceremony space had a huge skylight and a large window where the couple stood enabling you to see the stone bridge, rock fountains, etc. so much beauty!! After the ceremony we were directed to "The Chantilly" room and the display and selection of appetizers knocked my socks off! There was a salad station- cold area with cheese, crackers, fresh fruit, roasted beets, salmon, caprese salad and much much more! There was an Italian station w pasta, meatballs, sausage, pizza, then carved pork and skirt steak area, lots of seafood and even a mashed potato bar and a macaroni and cheese bar. Stupendous! Every time I got up I found something new to try. The wedding space was elegant and large for all to enjoy. We ordered the filet and that was served with tasty asparagus, potatoes, a peeled carrot and a light gravy sauce. I was very happy with all the desserts I tried too. The staff was ultra pleasant and attentive. This was a first class affair. I loved my time at Lucien's Manor and if you have the chance to attend or host an event there I know you will too.
