He's a unique dog, and for a while we weren't sure we would ever find someone who could effectively and safely handle him, but Grace was able to not only speak his language - but also safely integrate him into walks with other dogs and help muzzle train him. She quickly became his favorite person and was one of the only people he trusted. Grace went beyond the walks and basic training and would sometimes ask if she could take him overnight to get him used to being around different dogs (hers) and people. He always loves these sleepover and has learned to better read other dogs and communicate as a result. Our boy has come a long way, and we owe so much of that to Grace and Lucky Dog!

This turned out to be the perfect place for our dog. Jeff and Grace keep great control over the animals, and keep the numbers way down. Our dog was unsure of herself for the first day or so, but quickly joined the pack because I believe she felt very safe at this place. Great big fenced areas to play in, and best of all communal sleeping on furniture! She felt right at home. Highly recommend this place. Befor you leave your dog here make sure you're ok that they spend all day in a kennel full of barking dogs After speaking with you the other day I was excited to see your Kennel facility and as I was driving up your driveway yesterday I was even more excited as it seemed like a great place for the dogs. The two girls at the counter were very nice and one of them gave me the tour. The dogs were all in their kennels barking like crazy. Some were jumping and able to see the next kenneled dogs and they were viciously barking at each other. I couldn't understand why the dogs were not able to be outside on a mild day like yesterday. There were dogs that were clearly scared, and this really touched my heart. The fact that the kennels do not have high separation between the dogs makes it very unruly. You have two employees that are at the desk talking to each other and not interacting with the dogs. As I was given the tour I was told the dogs went out 4 times a day for about 20 min for pee breaks. What about play time and nurture time? It looked worse than the shelters. These two employees should be outside with the dogs (in intervals) most of the time ,except for probably an afternoon siesta and then at 7pm for nighttime. I advised the young lady that I could not bring my dogs here. You have an amazing place , and could do so much for these dogs. If you were able to upgrade your facility, you would be able to charge more and people would feel comfortable leaving thier dogs at Kondo Kennel. Maybe also have employees that enjoy being with dogs. The other girl there rolled her eyes at me and told me it was very loud back there. Practically every kennel was full, and every dog there was in thier kennel. They do not have enough stimulation to go in their kennel and sleep. From 10a to 2pm that's a long time for these dogs to be in a kennel. Do the owners of these dogs know this?? I wanted to email you first instead of yelping. This has really touched me.

We have two larger and energetic dogs who get along well but like their individual attention a lot. Debbie and Ashley have been such a professionals and have taken amazing care of our crazy lovable boys. They keep us updated on how the pups are doing and are always looking out for them, changing plans if weather is bad and making them feel comfortable. They have even left us sweet notes when we returned from longer trips. Trusting your home and your pets with others is always difficult but Debbie and Ashley have made it so much easier and given us peace of mind when we cannot take them with us. We will be moving out of the area and I think the hardest part will be giving up our amazing pet sitters!
