This is my go-to eyebrow place because it's right near my home but they're mediocre when it comes to eyebrow shaping. They're convenience over quality for me. Most of the ladies here thread according to what they think will look good on you instead of what you actually want. For example, when I ask for thinner brows, they keep leaving them thicker. But, there is 1 older lady in the place that comes on Mondays that I've noticed actually knows how to shape brows according to what the customer wants. Eyebrow shaping aside, I have very thick hair and what I've noticed that compared to other places, they're reallyy good at threading and pulling all of the hairs out of the root and making the brows look very clean and pretty. I come here every 2 weeks to thread my eyebrows and upper lip. ALWAYS ask for "Naseem". She literally saved my eyebrows. I used to wax but she immediately recommended threading and I've never waxed again. The lady that I used to go to really messed up my shape! So, this is why you never try something new when you've got a good thing going: I usually go to Pinky's for eyebrow tinting but today they were closed. Top Left: eyebrow tint application at Precise Brows at Bay Pkwy and 86th St - this was after she wiped some away hence the tinted skin around my eyebrows and was going to leave it like this for the rest of the tinting.... Top Right: the final "result" at Precise Brows *side note: I was so horrified because she applied the eyebrow tint in such a sloppy manner with a q-tip that after a few minutes I asked her to remove it in fear of it staining my skin...she still took the money for it though!* Bottom Left: eyebrow tint application at Pinky's on 86th St near 20th Ave with an actual eyebrow brush applicator Bottom Right: the actual, PRECISE, final result at Pinky's. The not so "precise" Precise Brows charged me $28 ($8 for threading and $20 for the "precise" tinting). She also didn't offer to refund me the tinting because in her mind sloppy and precise are the same exact thing. Pinky at Pinky's charges $11 and that includes waxing and actually precise tinting. As someone who's very difficult to deal with when it comes to my eyebrows, (yes I admit it) the worker handled me like a pro. She first worked on one of my brow and asked if its ok before doing the other. After giving her directions on where to adjust, she would proceed to do it and ask me to check it. I was really disappointed on my second visit. I decided to walk in on a Sunday's noon to get an eyebrow and upper lip wax. The lady that helped me did not bother to apply any pre-wax oil or sanitized the area before applying the hot wax on my eyebrows and upper lip. I immediately felt painful when she pulled off the waxing strips. Although she was very nice during the process, but I thought she could be a little more gentle with the waxing and prepped on the surface first. As soon as I got home, I quickly noticed my eye lids appear swollen and red because my skin had been waxed off from the hot wax earlier. I do not think I will ever visit this place again. read more

I do not trust this place to shape my eyebrows and I always ask for the same thing - clean around my current shape ONLY. I went today and left looking worse than the furry mess I went in with. Got my eyebrows done so thought why not get my lashes done too? I went with a friend since she told me about this place. Eyelash extensions from Mon-Wed are 20% off so it came out to be $32 without tip. My friend and I got the group extensions but if you want mink extensions, you need to book an appointment and they're $90(?). I suggest paying with cash cause if you pay with card, there's a fee. The lady was very nice and took care of us well. The eyelashes came out looking really good. This is my second time getting them done and this time was way better than the first. They do look natural and they were placed well. She even told us that if there are any problems within a weeks time, we can come back in to fix it free of charge. Thank god cause I don't pay money for it to mess up so quick and not have it fixed. It's been almost a week and two little eyelash extensions fell out. These usually last 2 weeks? Tried this place for eyebrow threading after buying a groupon for six threading sessions and was not satisfied at all! Each time my eyebrows were done they were horrible and not even. then on my fourth visit I was told that my sessions expired and I could not use my last visits. I in no way would have returned after the first visit if I hadnt already purchased six sessions. Once I contacted groupon I was refunded my money and will never return! LOL. The lady that was there really doesn't think there is a pandemic. She didn't spray down the chair after the last person left. She was lazy and didn't even adjust the chair so I can sit more easily. She left the back of the chair as if someone is laying down. Pretty difficult to sit down when pregnant. She gave me one tissue to wipe the left over hair off my face. One tissue is not going to do the deed. Anyways the worst part was the paying. I gave her 4 quarters because I didn't have a dollar bill. She asked me if I had a card. Why would I use my card and pay more for $9 dollar service? She didn't even thank me. Definitely come here if you want unsanitary conditions. Amazing place. I usually get my eyebrows waxed but I decided to come here since they had an amazing promotion for eyebrow threading at $3. YES, $3! Since I'm the queen of cheap I decided to come here. My eyebrows were dying for some TLC anyway. The lady who did my eyebrows was so gentle! Threading was actually less painful than waxing for me. On a scale of 1-10 of pain, the experience for me was only a 2! Waxing is usually a 4. So after 7 minutes of her careful threading she showed me my brows and I was in love! They look soo good. I had her do mine three times and each time she manages to mess up, either the arch or the length or the thickness. I used to love this place! With only a selected few, most of the girls there have no idea what they're doing. Especially the very thin girl there on saturdays with dark hair. A month ago she took a giant chunk from my eyebrow, that when they started growing back in, i had a hole, it was a mess. 2 weeks later i had the older shorter lady fix them up and tell me to come back in 2 weeks to let them grow in certain areas (i was happy with her) Today, lucky me, all the good ones were doing eyelash extensions and couldn't do eyebrows, i got stuck with the original one that gave me the hole. Needless to say, i am back to where I was a month ago. The 30 seconds she took to do my eyebrows will now cost me a month to grow out AGAIN! There's nothing "precise" about the eyebrow threading here. I've been here about 3 times. I thought i'd give it a try because I moved pretty far away from my usual eyebrow place, but each time I went to Precise Brows to get my brows threaded they didn't look like they were cleanly threaded with that fresh threaded look. Came here for group eyelash extensions a while ago. Horrible job. My eyes stung throughout the entire process because the technician used so much glue. I was literally crying throughout the entire procedure and the lady kept asking if I was okay because she had to keep wiping the tears from the corner of my eyes. Did not see her wash her hands before she started and she kept telling me to keep my eyes open and "look down" while I sat in the reclined chair. At the end of the procedure she took out a small tool and took the remainder of the eyelash glue and combed it through the eyelashes, making them thick and fake looking. I was so embarrassed with them on that I had to remove them the same day. They came out in clumps because they were all glued together. Thankfully I didn't lose any of my natural lashes. read more
