We asked WIN home inspection to complete a sewer scope on an older home we were purchasing…read more Unfortunately the main outside sewer clean out could not be located due to landscape material most likely covering it up. The inspector, Jack was diligent in attempting all other access ports (washing machine port, kitchen sink port and roof vent ports). Unfortunately the camera could not pass through the entire sewer line due to the multiple turns and angles from entering thru the alternate ports. A complete visual inspection was unable to be conducted. Jack did capture video of the pipe that he could inspect while actively running water through the system and no red flags were seen. If you are needing a sewer line inspection, I would recommend locating the main outdoor port so that the inspection results are more definitive.
