My experiences with Precision Consulting were very positive, and I wanted to share some details for others who are looking around for assistance with qualitative data analysis. I worked with Cathrin on the qualitative analysis for my EdD dissertation, and all I had to do was send my interview transcripts and my proposal, and that was it. They took care of the rest, and Cathrin even made sure they used NVivo for the analysis because that was what my Committee approved in my methods. My committee is also insanely picky, and I wanted extra minute details about the data coding steps and a couple more participant quotes added to the themes write-up that Precision did (even though what they did was very thorough already). Cathrin made those parts were revised (for free!) and that made my committee happy. I've done qualitative analysis before when working on a publication and it takes FOREVER, so I was happy that my committee said using a consultant was acceptable for this part of the dissertation. I work full-time and have 2 kids in grade school, so getting this help with my analysis was truly a blessing. If I had to do it over again, I'd choose Precision again. read more

I wanted to write a quick review to share my experiences with Precision Consulting because they really did an excellent job with my statistics for my dissertation. I know my topic really well (I work in special education and wanted to study a particular instructional approach for students with autism spectrum disorders), and I knew I needed a quantitative method to truly answer the research questions that were required for my topic. But when it comes to statistics, it's like a foreign language to me and I knew I needed experts on my side to get me through this. Fortunately, when I called Precision they connected me with Craig, who is definitely fluent in the language of statistics. So, long story short, Craig and the team at Precision helped to finish the technical statistics parts of my methods chapter and then also took care of the analysis. My decision to call Precision Consulting came after I was promoted to an upper level management position in my company, which was the result of years of hard work but came at the cost of my free time due to the heavy hours I now needed to work on both evenings and weekends. It was incredibly intimidating to return to school after 15 years in the corporate environment and I was concerned that my course load would interfere with my studies. If I had hired Precision sooner, my prospectus at Walden would have been approved the very first go round, and I would have saved thousands on tuition. Precision took my draft and knew precisely what to fix, and how to fix it so that it would be approved. They really know their stuff.
