My garage door would not open. Eric the technician said that I did not need a need motor. That I needed new springs and rollers, so that's what was installed and charged almost $800. Since I have no knowledge of garage doors I trusted his word on what was wrong. The very next day the garage door was doing the exact same thing. I called and Eric came back out and told me that I needed a new motor and would be an additional $800. I called the office and asked to speak with management out about the situation, and I'm still waiting. This was September 19. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Rip off service ! and rushed us to make a decision while we were talking with him only 5 minutes about what need to be fixed or problems about our garage door problem. Don is the service man, he rushed us because he had to do do another job after fixing our garage. Paid for $69 to come out, plus the cost of repair. Don estimated the total cost was $250 to fix the garage door and promised to get the door back to work. However, all he did just to replace the 12 rolling wheels, balance the door and charged us for $250 and afterward told us go to Sears or Lowes to buy the garage door opener to have a different person to do the install job. We end up have to go to Lowes to purchase the garage door opener for 200 plus only $97 for installation. Don't do any business with Precision Garage Door Service ever again ! read more

I had a (1) spring break and needed it changed. I was told of the $59 service call. When the tech arrived, I was told the service call fee was for him to come out and assess the situation. I saw the spring break, knew the spring had broken and could visibly see the spring was broken and explained that to them when I originally called. I was then quoted $280 for one new spring, which included installation but did not include the service call fee. They then quoted $120 if I chose to have the second spring replaced at the same time. (How are the prices so different?!?) I checked 3 sources online and the HIGHEST price I found for the springs was $90, but found them as cheap as $70 FOR TWO SPRINGS and the bars to tighten them!!! I called another local company just for a quote and was told $179-installed! I was GROSSLY OVERCHARGED for the parts and installation! I was charged $339 (minus $15 for a military discount) to have one spring replaced! I was referred to call back to the office for my complaint to which the lady replied me she was not aware of costs that it was set by the tech. This is the LAST time I will do business with this company as I was completely taken advantage of in my situation. Look elsewhere folks and save a ton!!! read more

Garage door at our house broke on Wednesday after 6:00 PM. I got the door lowered so there was no emergency. Repair tech was at my house by 11:00AM on Thursday. Repairs were made and explained to my satisfaction. No pressure to do more than needed. Overall, this was a first rate experience. The door works better than ever ! read more

Wonderful customer service. Our garage door wouldn't open at 6:30PM! We called a few door companies in the area, and couldn't get anyone on the phone. When we finally called Precision, we got a person right away and they had a technician to our house within 45 minutes! The guy was nice and he explained everything.
