Super bad experience with this company. I contacted this company in 2023 to replace one of my garage doors on my home in Colorado Springs. I paid over 10k on a garage door that began to have separation issues with the slats of vinyl after only 19 months. When I purchased the door I told the technician it had to be painted the same color because our HOA had very strict rules about exterior colors. He never told me anything about the paint I used, but that it was fine to paint it and never said I couldn't use the same exterior paint that's on the other door which is ten years old and still in excellent condition no issues with vinyl. It is also painted with the same paint with no issues at all. The technician that came out to examine the issue blamed the it on our paint and said they would not warranty the door. Buyer beware. The technician who installed the door should have given us explicit information about specific paint. He never did! Especially because I explained that I would be painting it the same color as the other garage door. It is awful to spend money with a company that tells you life time warranty and then uses this technique to get out of backing the product. If there was specific paint it should have been disclosed. I would never recommend a company that operates this way. read more

That was last year and he came back this year because my garage door just didn't want to work for me. Wife-unit told me at breakfast that garage door wasn't closing completely and was a little cock-eyed. I figured it was probably a broken torsion spring, and it was. Looked in my business card file and found firm that had installed door originally. Couldn't find on Yelp, so I put in search engine and found them in Fort Collins and they had lousy reviews. I used Yelp to suggest another, basically using map to pick close one with 5 star rating and multiple raters. Called Precision and they were able to get someone out this afternoon. I got email and text reminders that I had scheduled appointment, and notices both ways when the tech, Mitchell, was on his way. Very efficient. Mitchell made short work of replacing torsion spring and told me he had every kind of residential spring on his truck. He heard "clicking" from rollers and said that would be the next thing to fix but didn't need to do today. I asked if he could fix today and avoid another trip, he replied he could, but it would be another $100, which seemed reasonable. When he changed them the old rollers would "rattle" when shaken, indicating pretty severe wear in my mind. Door operates quietly now. While he was here he checked my other garage door and lubed it. I am thoroughly pleased with all aspects of the work and how the front office responded and even the appearance of Mitchell and his shiny truck. I called Overhead Door simply because the name was familiar and was told it would be $250.00 plus parts and labor for same day, "emergency" service. Hard pass. Next call was to Precision. The young lady was succinct, proficient and informative and said she could send Jeffrey within the hour. Jeffrey showed up within 35 minutes was more than qualified, professional and educated me on the mechanics of my particular system. (Recently bought this house) I am more than happy with the service performed, never knew the garage door could open so quietly after he replaced the large spring and lubricated the door. PRECISION GARAGE DOOR IS WONDERFUL!!! After having our door serviced by the most widely recognized garage door service, and being told that parts aren't available anymore for our garage doors (from a 2006 build), and even after the service, the door screached horribly, we called Precision. Guess what? It's just like their commercials say - they can usually fix the problem. Zeke, our awesome tech, showed up in his mask (thank you Zeke), was honest and personable, and said we didn't need new garage doors - he could fix them, and yes, the parts are still available. And, he did fix them-new seal on the bottom of the door (which wasn't available anymore by the other garage door service), and all the other problems. The cost was less then 10% of getting new doors, and they work perfectly.
