If I could give Henley's keys 0 stars I would. I have done business off on with this company for over 20 years and referred people to them on a regular basis. I have not used them for the last few years but needed their help today. The front office lady was extremely rude disrespectful to me and several of my work associates. One of which was standing right in front of her and she chose to be disrespectful and rude. She was caught in several lies with not only one the person in front of her but the purchasing department on the phone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I called Henley's because I had an issue with someone trying to break into a laundry room at an apartment building. I told them I wanted it secured with a metal plate across the opening (can be purchased at Home Depot). They came out and told me they could not install this and I needed a contractor. They then want charge me for a service call and labor charge when they didn't do what I asked them to do. This place is ridiculous and I will never use them again. read more

These guys rock! I took my wife's car to Freedom Honda because the key wouldn't turn in the ignition. Freedom Honda told me it would cost $540 to "rebuild" the ignition tumbler. This seemed outrageous so I called Henley's. Ended up paying $100! You read that right, $100. Great local business that has been around for decades. read more

Placed an order via phone in late Feb 2023 was told it could take 10-15 days for the FOB to arrive. After waiting the appropriate amount of time I contacted the business and was told they were having shipping issues but the key had been ordered. Called again after another 10-15 days and was told they were still having shipping issues but the key had been ordered. Contacted Henley's on Apr 7 and was informed they needed the FCC code from the FOB...I informed the individual I was speaking with that the order was placed back in Feb and was told the technician I had spoke with back in Feb should have requested the FCC code at that time. Very frustrating to have waited this long only to be told an error had been made. read more

These guys are the only ones in town who could figure out how to open an antique wooden crate without damaging it. It says a lot when I contacted two other locksmiths, both of whom told me to call Henley's. They did the job and made me a new key in minutes (at a reasonable price) where the others couldn't do it at all. read more

Henley's saved me $169.38 on a new keyless entry fob and programming. I lost one of my fobs to my Lexus IS 350. Two dealerships quoted $510.83 to replace and program the fob. Both the dealerships and Henley's ordered the original manufactured fob online. Henley's charged $341.45 saving me $169.38. I would have thought the fob was expensive from Henley's if I had not already received a quote from the dealerships. You bring your car and the fob in when the new fob is programmed and the valet key cut. I recommend an appointment with DJ when Henley's programs the fob because DJ is in demand since he is the person with the expertise to program the fob. Thank you Henley's. All my best. read more

I called to schedule appointment for lock rekey and gate lock installation only to be treated like "we could care less about your business" by the woman answering phone and I might add scheduled me out five weeks. I found another locksmith that came out within 48 hours. I called to cancel and just said I need to cancel appointment and the same woman answers with the smirky attitude "we could care less". She didn't ask if she could reschedule appointment; just the crummy attitude. I would never entrust this business with any work based on their snide female person answering the phones. He never looked me in the eye and told me that he wouldn't help me because it would cost him money. I am under the impression that a business can charge what it needs to charge to make money. This review is for the owner, DJ. His other worker who also helped was perfectly nice although very unhelpful. My girlfriend ordered a key fob her her truck about a month ago and was told it would be ready in 5 day to one week. It ended up taking a month and she had to call multiple times for an update. When it was finally ready, they told her to come in to get it programmed. We drove all the way there only to be told that the machines to program it weren't working and that we wouldn't be able to come in for another several days. Since this took so much longer than we were told, we asked for a refund (reasonably). DJ didn't even come out initially to apologize for the delay or answer our questions and we had to ask for him to come explain why they couldn't give a partial refund since the service had not met our expectations. He just said no, without offering so much as an apology. During the whole converstaions, DJ would not acknowledge me or make eye contact or apologize. He also refused to take responsibility for the delay, blaming it on other factors. We even explained that we are moving in a few days and might not have the key fob in time now. He basically just told us we were out of luck and could only get a refund if we had a receipt even though this is an ongoing/in-progress order with them and they clearly know how mcuh was paid since the order still hasn't been completed. My girlfriend put down what was essentially a deposit, so naturally, I would expect they could refund a deposit without a receipt. DJ even said that a statement from the bank showing the amount wouldn't be enough to get a refund. He just said that was their policy and offered no other solution. I called back shortly after to express my displeasure with their service, and was told that my tone in the shop was "impolite" and that I "interrupted" him and so he decided he didn't need to acknowledge me. Last time I checked, we paid a substantial amount of money for their service which wasn't performed in the window of time they said it would be, and his subjective opinion of my attitude or tone is completely irrelevant to a business transaction. Just another example of being made to feel badly as a woman for simply holding a business accountable to what they said they would do. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

Went there to get a key for my son's car. Unfortunately I can't get one until we get permanent plates for the vehicle. However with talking with the lady on the phone and even with the two gentlemen that we spoke to they were very polite and helpful. Considering we were 10 minutes late for our appointment. They were very quick to try and resolve our issue as soon as we walked in. Great Customer Service. Treated us very kindly gave us all our options and the best and lowest way to resolve things. It was inevitable. I lost my second set of keys a year ago, and I kept meaning to get a copy made . . . any one of these days . . . well, I locked my keys in the ignition this week. I've never used a locksmith before, so I checked dexonline.com, and Henley's had received a five star ratiing, so I thought I'd give them a try. It was after 8 PM, so I wasn't sure if they'd be able to come that night. They have an after-hours switchboard, and a nice operator picked up my call. Within 10 minutes she had called a technician, and 20 minutes after that he arrived at my house. Very nice man, very professional, and the keys were out within 15 minutes. He would have copied my key for me right there, but he didn't have the right one in stock. For reference, it cost $60 to get the keys out, and a key copy would have been $6. I fully intend to go down to their main office and get copies made . . . soon . . *before* I lock them in the car again. :P read more

The technician was very kind, however, they did not tell me they were going to charge me $60.00 for a service visit on the initial phone call/appointment set up. After the technician told me he was going to charge me the unexpected $60.00, I called the store itself to verify and ask why the service charge was not revealed prior to appointment set up. The receptionist said, "Most people just don't ask..so we don't tell you about it." (ugg) I did ask for pricing on the initial call, but was only told the prices for making the keys themselves.... felt misleading. They were prompt, kind, and gave professional advise... just be aware of the charge when you book an appointment. read more

I was quoted 150 to replace my ignition switch when I paid the price changed to $240. When I questioned that the lady on the phone who is very nice by the way, she said I had to speak to the technician. The technician came on the phone and tried to explain in a grumpy voice why the price went up. I still feel I should've been contacted to make the choice to pay the higher price. there was also a mixup on my credit card payment. They are very unorganized and entitled at this location I would not recommend using their services read more
