We have a unique river pump set up and every single issue or question that has risen is always answered with careful thought, consideration and past experience. They work with us to figure out what makes sense logically as well as $$ wise. The last few techs out for winterization, start up, and repairs have been SO friendly and so easy to work with, not to mention efficient. Again.... Never thought I'd want to seek out to write a review on a sprinkler company but here we are!

Unprecedented disappointment! I called S & E for a simple mist head replacement, and a zone valve…read moreissue. Took more than 2 weeks to get an appointment. They finally showed up fixed the heads but swung and missed on the valve issue. I returned home 2 days later and had the exact same problem. Called them back and again waited several weeks (without a zone of service). Finally returned and it took the tech well over an hour to fix what turned out to be nothing more than a sticky valve. Of course I was charged for every minute. After 2 visits and several hours of "work" my final bill was almost $500.00!! I contacted the company and requested an owner give me a call...no call, no adjustment to the bill. Never again. My advice is to get a verbal estimate prior to waiting several weeks for them to even get to you...and then...good luck!

I called this company to have several issues fixed, including a zone which was not working at all…read more The tech fixed it, but it stopped working again almost immediately. I called to ask them to return to fix their work, and I was told they couldn't come for two weeks. When I explained that this was an unacceptable amount of time to wait for something that we'd already paid for, I was told that "the best they could do" is put me on the cancellation list. Fortunately, I found another company to come out right away and fix the problem correctly, but I've now paid twice for the same issue. We paid them $325, and I requested a refund in the amount of $169 (for labor and the service call ~ I offered to pay for the parts). The company refused to pay this amount. Bottom line: this company does not know how to handle complaints and conflict. I gave them a chance to make it right. But instead of trying to rectify the issue quickly and professionally, they've made it worse. It appears as though this company used to be reputable. However, upon talking with several other people in the area who've used them recently, I think they've bitten off more than they can chew with the amount of new clients they've taken on.

The sprinkler system required heads to be replaced and for one of the lines to be moved and replaced due to a leak. I was incredibly pleased with the service I received. The man, Ed, was respectful and was productive from the moment he started the job. He was efficient with his time. After he replaced the pressure vacuum breaker, he had to test the sprinkler system. That was when he discovered the leak in one of the sprinkler lines, and he identified which heads needed to be replaced. He was transparent with the required work and the additional cost that was associated with it. I really appreciated that about him and his irrigation company. I would definitely recommend this irrigation company for those of you looking to fix/maintain your home's sprinkler system.

However, our last experience July 2022 was a little ridiculous on the rate. All that was repaired was a swing joint and rubber gasket ($14 parts). Here for less than an hour. We were charged $202 for labor! I was completely shocked especially since in 2019 they looked over entire system, here for more than an hour and the labor was only $135. NEVER discussed with us how much it would be! I would highly suggest asking them how much it will be before them proceeding with the repair. We are going elsewhere this year because we cannot afford their labor. It is understandable that everything has gone up. BUT it would be better business if they discussed their rate, prior.

Hired them this summer to provide lawn care again. Things started out well, then I began getting invoices for services that weren't done. Although Sam rectified that situation, I realized about a month later that the crew wasn't coming out during my scheduled lawn care days. After multiple calls and emails, I unfortunately never heard back from Sam or the company.

Please view my previous and current out of business photos. Previously in the past two years I have purchased deliveries of firewood as seen in my photos attached. This business also sold mulch, stones, rocks for landscaping residents with a delivery fee. The firewood delivery from 10/22/2022 was seasoned and burned very well in my family room fireplace with insert and adjustable heat blower fan. The salesman and owner was Joel and secretary Cindy very helpful on the phone and in person. (photo attached of business card) Driver Geoff was polite and efficient with the dump truck and my property with a charge for delivery of $40.00. The price of firewood was good and satisfied my need to burn in the Fall and Winter cold months in Michigan. Now when I called the office at the beginning of January to request a firewood delivery I heard a long recording with selections to different departments and then was never connected. Instead I left 3 messages and as of today I called and left My final message that I am no longer a happy customer. If they have moved to another location then SAY SO! If they have completely gone out of business then SAY SO or leave a sign message on the office doors out front! Lack of communication for 4 weeks to customers calling is very impolite!
