From the moment I made phone contact with 'Crystal' she has this special knack to make one feel immediately calm and a sense that things were in the right hands and it was going to get done right! Her ability to effortlessly gather all the details necessary for an appointment with 'Chris' was stellar. After 'Chris' arrived at my RV and starting working his magic (no easy task with the problem at hand) it confirmed my suspicions that Chris and Chrystal are definitely a dynamic duo. Chris explained to me in plain English, each and every step he was taking to remedy the problem. He displayed total patience with me and my constant barrage of questions. Voila! I had reservations through the process, but Rick is a stand up and honest guy. One of those real people you don't meet very often. Maybe a little rough around the edges but he will work diligently to help you find a way to resolve problems that arise. I mean if you ever owned and RV you know, if you are just getting into the game he can help. He has experience and knowledge and is willing to work through problems. It took some time, but he earned my trust and confidence. I'd go to Rick and Tri County RV anytime. It's great to have an owner operated business this dependable in Ventura and provides great value for the community. Longer Version: Rick and I had a bumpy road. Dealing with insurance, manufacturers, custom parts and a comic cascade of communication which went best in person, second best via direct email and off the rails a little with phone or disparate emails with third parties. However, Rick hung in there and while I sometimes may appear unreasonable, I'm not. I'm often just too curious for my own good. Just by chance we found H & H and they were just a few miles away. When we got there they dropped everything and started working on our RV. Fortunately they had a special tool that allowed them to fix the broken line instead of having to replace the whole thing. In less than an hour they had us back on the road. I don't normally leave poor reviews. But my experience was too bad to ignore. They came to pack my…read morebearings on my boat trailer but stopped halfway through because they noted the brake pads also needed replacing. They did not have the proper brake pads on hand so they said they would come back and finish. Meanwhile my trailer was pulled apart and immobile. MANY weeks went by and I called and texted multiple times and never got a response. I finally had to do and find the brake pads myself (took all of 30 min as they were in stock locally) put the trailer back together myself and had to pay another company to pack my bearings. 6 months later they reached out to tell me I never paid and wanted to charge me $280 dollars for packing bearings and replacing the brakes. I was upset and said they only packed 2 bearings, and no brakes and left me in a world of hurt by never responding. We missed planned trips because they ghosted me. They dropped the bill to $180. They should have charged me nothing... I am an idiot and still paid them. So my only recourse is... they get a bad review. Maybe you will have better luck.

Sean came out to do warranty work on my Bigfoot auto leveling jacks. During inspection of my RV he…read moresaid the AC had issues, my antenna needed replaced. He told me he ordered everything and was working directly with my warranty company on the payment for the items. Needless to say, he tinkered with the jacks and said they were repaired and he would be back to complete everything once the parts came in. He never returned and when I called my warranty company they said they paid him directly and I don't get a copy. I asked the warranty company why they don't check with the customer prior to paying out to verify that the work was completed and working properly. They said Sear told them everything was completed so they paid him. My jacks still don't work properly, the AC is killing the generator when getting ready to load. He came out and made up bogus repairs and never fixed my original request " Bigfoot leveling jacks" and made a fraudulent claim to my Warranty insurance. He ghosted me to this day. My original request was in 2021 and he still won't pick up my calls. The only thing that keeps me sane is I believe in KARMA and it has Sean's name all over it.

When the water pump on my Travel Trailer stopped working, Sean came out and replaced it. He seemed…read morelike a nice enough guy and competent. Boy, was I wrong. Not long after he left the supposedly new pump would not shut off. I had to turn the power on and off to shut off the pump. I tried for the next 3 days to get ahold of Sean, but he would not respond to texts or calls. Nothing. He only takes Zelle or cash, not too hard to figure out why. After coming home and ordering a new pump and replacing it myself, I looked at the pump he put in and it was 6 years old. So he basically found an old pump laying around in his garage or wherever and Installed it. BEWARE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. SEAN HE WILL RIP YOU OFF IN A SECOND. This was at Rincon.
