We have a class a motorhome that we wanted to trade in. At first dealing with the sales person, they were all gung ho to purchase our class a motorhome because it had very low mileage and was in great shape. We had one request that they limit the driving of third-party people in the motorhome to ensure that it does not break as soon as we requested that their manager called and said we do not want to take your motor motorhome. because we don't want the responsibility if somebody test drives it and they break it and we have to return it broken. That's not our responsibility. The whole thing seemed like a sham the sales person wanted to take the motorhome. We were offering at a very low price below wholesale so they could make a profit and simply because we were reluctant about how they handled test drives. Their manager, came in and refused to accept the motorhome. That tells us that there's something fishy or smelly going on at this particular Ventura RV motorhome, and therefore we would not recommend it based on our personal experience and our personal interaction that we had with the variety of people at their facility read more

I didn't buy my trailer from here but they are the only local company that does the warranty repairs. I was told to drop off Monday morning so they could look at it then they would deal with the warranty claim. Dropped off at 8am with no call by the end of day. He lied and said they left a message. Nope. When I showed up at 5pm to pick up they hadn't even looked at it and talked about how busy they were and it could be up to 30 days. They knew all this when I was told to bring it in what a complete waste of my time. If they can't get it together just to diagnose an issue I'm pretty sure the repair would be even harder for this place. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place. If you want to get ripped off, go to this place. We bought. "New' 2023" trailer in July 2024. The trailer was sold as "new", but had several damages that the dealership agreed to fix. Fast forward, almost a year later, we have gotten the run around on these repairs. Just recent the Finance manager informed us that they will NOT fix any of the "agreed" repairs and basically kicked my husband and our trailer out of the dealership. I called Ventura RV Connection as I was in a hurry to get a converter replaced on my Travel trailer. Juan in RV service called me back almost immediately and had me scheduled in a very timely manor. Juan listened to my concerns and needs and had me in and out of service in a matter of 3 days. Juan called me a couple days after dropping it off, and advised the work was completed, and everything was working properly. Juan is commended for his attention to detail, knowledge, professionalism, honesty and timeliness of his quality work. Don't ever buy a trailer from here!! They have no clue as to what they are doing with trailers. Stick to being a car dealer. From them scratching down the side of our toyhauler when they moved it cause they needed a week to "prep"it. To not doing anything on the list that was to be completed. My husband had to try and fix and then ultimately put on a brand new electric hitch while we were there! Nobody had the knowledge or the tools! Thank god my husband showed up in his own work truck and knows what he is doing. The generator had problems when we got home, so did the water heater. They tried to deny the huge scratch down the side of it!! Pathetic! Horrible!! Don't ever ever come here even if it was free I would never take it there for service. Boooooo!!! read more

If you didn't buy your trailer from here don't bother. Your on back burner if it's warranty and have to pay out off pocket for some repairs. They don't call you. When you call the service dept it is to hard to get a hold of someone to answer phone. Wound up not having them do anything. When I pulled my trailer out guy with fork lift dropped it off in front of a speed bump so couldn't get my lifted truck attached to ball because one the speed bump and two didn't put my block down for the jack. While doing the walk around noticed a marker light missing. And when I dropped it off at the place I bought it. There was another marker light up higher in rear missing. And damage to the corner frame rail. That I didn't see while picking up Not going there for anything again read more

Do NOT take your RV or Trailer here to sell !!! I wouldn't even come here for anything!!! My Girlfriend took her Trailer to sell on consignment and she got 2 calls that it was sold, she went to sign paperwork then got a call that the buyers didn't qualify. 6 months go by and finally we get a call to just go pick up the trailer because they couldn't sell it, we go to pick up the trailer, and outdoor Barbque pit, spare tire, propane tanks, and outdoor kitchen refrigerator is missing also, we walk around the trailer and there's black flat paint to cover scratches all around the trailer !!! Dents on one of the rear wheel areas , and no one knows what happened!! We ask for a manager and one guy named CHATO comes out and he tells us it was his first week, ( Real Nice Guy ) but didn't know anything that was going on, so we ask for another Manager ( Guy used to work for Barber RV in Ventura can't remember his name Big Overweight tall guy ) and he comes out and just has no customer service. He tells us that they remove everything so no one steals it but yet they can't find any of our stuff!! They bring out a crate with trash, a Barbque pit and old propane tanks, but they can't find our fridge.... so we ask to speak to owner and he gives us a number because he's not on premises Owner named ( Martin ) we leave a message and never returns our calls. At that point we just wanted to get the trailer out of there before we left with just the chasis!!! Trailer was ruined, we did get a Barbque pit put back, spare tire, and old propane tanks back on, but they gave us an Old Battery that didn't work and never got our Refrigerator Replaced !! And his attitude was we don't know what happened and this is what it is... The place in front says RV Connection but here it comes out as Ventura RV Connection!!! Run!!! Do Not come Here!!!! You will either end up in Jail for Battery if you can't handle the Anger and Frustration, or walk away with a Ruined Trailer and Learn from more Mistakes in Life!!! It was hard to walk away but hopefully a Judge sees all the damages and we can get our things fixed and replaced!!! read more

If I could rate this dealership as a negative five stars, I wouldn't hesitate for one second. The owner is an absolute CROOK. I bought a 2019 Shadow Cruiser in late May. It's a complete LEMON and the owner refuses to address any service issue. All I wanted from the start, is exactly what I paid for... a fully functioning brand new rig, with no defects. Nothing more, nothing less. Now... here's why I'm demanding a new rig. From the first day of delivery, I've had problems. Day 1: Delivered the travel trailer with no power cord and didn't level the rig properly. My battery was quite drained by time they brought the power cord. Day 2: Water is gushing out from underneath my wall, coming from the restroom. The hot water hose from the bathroom sink was defective. Day 3: A loud bang comes from outside. When I walk outside, the scissor jacks on one side of the trailer buckled, due to poor leveling by the installer. When I called the service manager, which by the way, has no clue how to run his department, he blamed me for the buckling and said I would have to pay for new scissor jacks. I never touched anything, once the rig was installed. He finally agreed to fix the issue, after I threatened to stop payment on the check and they could come pick up the rig. Day 4: An unexpected rain shower occurs and water pours through the skylights in the bathroom. They were defective and not sealed properly. THINGS THAT ARE STILL WRONG AND NEVER WERE FIXED: bathroom door doesn't close, the kitchen sink leaks from underneath the sink, the warranty that was purchased for the paint on the trailer was slopped on with a mop and never smoothed out, the toilet emits an odor because it's not sealed properly, the outside stove will not light due to the propane connection being faulty, one of the screens is bent, the porch light does not work, the vent over the stove is bent, the auxiliary tank isn't connected properly, the gray and black water tanks don't drain properly and the digital antenna doesn't work. I've expressed my extreme displeasure through multiple forms of communication, with no positive outcome. NOW THIS... I'm sitting in my main room, when about a gallon of water, dumped from the air conditioner grate in the ceiling. I immediately called the service manager and got no response. I reached out to the new general manager and he talked a good game, then caved. After he spoke to the owner (CROOK), I was informed I must provide a credit card number, to be billed $130/hour plus parts. If they found the issues were under warranty, I would be reimbursed. How would any part of a travel trailer, that is less than three months old be out of warranty? The customer service was a farce at the dealership. Once the check cleared, they completely abandoned a client, who paid for the product in full. BUYERS BEWARE! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH A SMILE, THEN FLUSH YOU DOWN THE TOILET, ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY. I have contacted every major consumer agency and reported these criminals. The owner does not care about customer service but only the bottom line. He knows he sold me a LEMON and doesn't have the moral integrity to make things right. I strongly suggest you seek out other RV dealers. Please don't fall for their SCAM! You may just find me standing in front of the dealership, with a HUGE sign. Not what I expected. I went in to look at the new Chaparral Lite 5th wheel. I was greeted by a salesman that wore a straw hat, I didn't get his name. I told him I wanted to look at the 5th wheel. The salesman seemed uninterested in showing me the interior features and he even stated that he wasn't too "keen" on this model and wanted to show me their new stock of toy haulers. I looked at a few of the Attitude models but that was not what I was interested in. I decided to look elsewhere. read more

BUYERS BEWARE..... I purchased a brand new trailer from Ventura RV Connection in January of this year. On our second time of taking the trailer out an interior cabinet door completely broke of the hinges. Called Ventura RV and they said bring it in and we will take a look and see if we can get this covered under warranty. See if we can get this covered under warranty, this is a brand new trailer, why wouldn't it be covered under warranty. 3 weeks go by and no update at all from the dealership, I found myself calling and asking for updates as if it were my job to provide updates. The dealer advised it would be another couple weeks, they were able to get the door covered under warranty and waiting on a shipment from the manufacturer. Another 3 weeks go by and no update AGAIN. Called and spoke with John and he advised it would be in a couple days as it did not arrive in the shipment of trailers that were delivered. 5 weeks later the cabinet door was repaired. Never received a service receipt of the work done. On our 4th time using the trailer, I get this awful smell coming out of the fridge. It was ammonia. The refrigerator went out. Took it the dealer and they confirmed that the refrigerator went bad. Great another warranty item within the first 7 months of purchasing the trailer. I advised Bruce the Service manager that it would by 4-6 weeks for the repair. I told him that was not acceptable, that I would be using the trailer in the coming weeks and needed this taken care of. A week goes by and again no updates from the dealer, I found myself calling A LOT asking for updates. It seems like once they make a deal everything else goes downhill from there. Bruce advised that the cooling system went out and can't get the part in time and that a new fridge would be ordered. Great, would have been nice to receive a call from the dealer but that doesn't seem to be how they run a business. I get a call the following week that my trailer was ready for pick up, I arrive at the dealer and walk back to my trailer and its a complete mess. The technicians left a complete mess. Saw dust everywhere didn't even bother to clean up after themselves. But again I was not surprised. I refused the pick and told them I would be back the next day to pick up the trailer because they left it a mess. The next day comes and the mess is cleaned up and I take my trailer home. A recent camping trip I took I was preparing the trailer and was doing an inventory and noticed my TV and kids blankets were missing. The day I was scheduled to pick up my trailer the items were there. So I call the now GM John and ask, if by chance did anyone see a tv wrapped in blankets, they are missing from trailer. His response "I trust my guys 100%, they wouldn't steal". I then asked him to ask the employees and review the security cameras. John's response "I don't think the cameras go out to that location. I will investigate the situation". RED FLAG!!!! Who in their right mind says that. Only he would know that along with his employees. This was Friday 08/24 when this all took place. He advised that he would ask his employees as both techs had called out. The weekend goes by and not a single update from John. I called John on 08/27 left a message and 24 hours later no phone call back, until I called him. He apologized for the situation that occurred and said "my guys are paid well they wouldn't steal". He asked around and no one claims to have seen the TV. I call this an unfortunate event and yes the TV can be replaced along with the other items. BUYERS BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING INTO PURCHASING FROM THIS DEALER. THEY WILL PROMISE YOU THE WORLD, PROMISE EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. But when it comes down to actually doing the repairs its like pulling teeth. ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS CLOSE THE DEAL AND GIVE YOU THE DOOR. read more

Service department is HORRIBLE. I believe in supporting local and that's why I purchased here. I've called this place at least 20x in the last 2 weeks to get info on my trailer. There's no communication between the staff. One gentlemen "promised" to get the info on my trailer and call me back. No call back. I've spoken with several different staff and they all know that I am very upset, yet nobody can answer my question or at least try to help. I finally had to go in and get the info in person. I purchased my first Travel Trailer from RV connection in Ventura back in June of 2014. It was a very pleasant experience all the way around. Both of the sales people we no pressure and very helpful. After going to other RV dealers in the area RV connection was the most laid back which is what I like. After the sale I have had a few question and needed a few minor service issues resolved, Joel in the service department has been AWESOME taking care of everything. Ventura RV Connection is the absolute worst business I've had the misfortune of visiting. After agreeing to a deal on a Salem travel trailer, the General Manager and I set up delivery five days later allowing them some time to make repairs and detail the trailer. I arrived at our agreed time and place to pick the trailer up and finalize the paperwork but the trailer was not ready, in fact, hadn't been touched other than being moved to the repair shop. The mechanic laughed at me when I asked if the trailer was ready and replied with "No, this won't be ready for at least a month." Then his coworker yelled something into the shop prompting others to join in on the fun. It was as if they intentionally failed to complete the repairs making the deal fall through and were waiting to see my reaction to the situation. I then walked into the dealership looking for someone to assist, but it was a ghost town. In fact, one of the employees quickly retreated into an office to avoid me! After a few minutes of walking around this empty dealership, I found a lady sitting at her desk. She was very friendly and pointed me to a corner office near the service department. A man then greeted me to offer assistance but didn't introduce himself. Come to find out he was the owner. We walked over to the trailer, and the mechanic told the owner that it is ready to go and everything is working. The Owner later confirmed the trailer was not going to be ready as agreed that day with no explanation of why or offer assistance with correcting the situation. With this, I'm assuming the owner didn't like the deal made therefore told the mechanics to stop work knowing this would break the agreement. When leaving the only response was "I don't care we will sell it to someone else." Avoid this place. read more

Worst RV store I have ever seen. First the trailers they sell are so bad. Forest River. Read their reviews horrible. These people are mom an pop. And if you read the reviews of forest river they are mom an pop to so I guess they are a good fit for each other. I just wish I had read the reviews before I bought. If you read the other review the guy mentions he bought a trailer and had minor service issues how do you have minor issues if it is new. I also tried to put my trailer on consignment and they were going to give me about $8000 under the book value. So if I would have done it and they sold it they would have made $8000 which was about the same thing I would have made. What a bunch of thieves. I have brought my Rv in there 3 times for minor issues also and they refused to fix them. Told me it was a company problem not their problem. How do you sell something an not want to repair them. They are also double charging for the trailer which Alex informed me when I was in finance. They are charging an $850 on a small pop-up trailer but then charging it to the salesmen also which means they make money from the customer and then take it off the gross profit so they do not have to pay the salesman as much. I will never buy from them. If I buy another trailer I will go to Barber RV who has a good reputation and honest. read more
