I have been using Hobby RV mobile service for many years now as a great alternative to having to take our RVs into a shop for service or repairs. Adolfo has been able to tackle all of our needs on three different 5th wheel trailers. One of the recent additions was a new remote control Maxxfan to replace the existing fan in the bathroom area. He can usually fit us into his schedule within a day or two of giving him a call. I highly recommend!

While staying at the RV park in Malibu, the coach next to me was being worked on by Adolfo Guzman and his helper.

Needless to say when the need arises for whichever RV repair, not being a resident of the area makes me vulnerable and an easy mark for unscrupulous repairman cons. Not so with CR Mobil Repair! From the moment I made phone contact with 'Crystal' she has this special knack to make one feel immediately calm and a sense that things were in the right hands and it was going to get done right! Her ability to effortlessly gather all the details necessary for an appointment with 'Chris' was stellar. After 'Chris' arrived at my RV and starting working his magic (no easy task with the problem at hand) it confirmed my suspicions that Chris and Chrystal are definitely a dynamic duo. Chris explained to me in plain English, each and every step he was taking to remedy the problem. He displayed total patience with me and my constant barrage of questions. Voila! Hardly an hour of his steadfast attention, skills and abilities and he identified and repaired a very complex situation with my residential refrigerator. I cannot recommend this incredible team highly enough. If you are fortunate enough to fit into his busy schedule, you won't be sorry!!

Just by chance we found H & H and they were just a few miles away. When we got there they dropped everything and started working on our RV. They are the nicest people and made us feel welcome while we stood around for the fix. I would recommend H & H to anyone. Local or traveler. This is the place to take your RV! Thanks H & H.

This was, by far, the worst repair experience I have ever had. This place is going downhill. I specifically requested an estimate and never received one. Instead, all of the work was completed, and I was presented with a $1,690 bill. The labor charges were substantially inflated in my opinion and according to experienced RV professionals. The lead mechanic Daniel was combative, condescending, intensely negative, and irritated by basic questions. Less than a week after paying hundreds of dollars for battery diagnosis and repair, my coach was still having serious battery problems. I trusted the positive reviews, but my experience was nothing like them. I am reporting the estimate, authorization, and billing issues to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. Please go elsewhere. Read more below. What happened: I brought in my Holiday Rambler for generator service, diagnosis of a battery-charging issue, and investigation of a possible oil leak. At drop-off, I specifically requested a written estimate. I was told the coach first needed to be diagnosed and that an estimate would follow. The mechanic called Wednesday with some findings but gave me no repair pricing before abruptly ending the call near closing time. I called again Thursday and Friday asking for the estimate, pricing, and work status. The receptionist was courteous but could not locate my folder or provide any information. By Monday, all of the work had already been completed, yet I still had never received an estimate or any pricing. I called Monday and explicitly stated that I had never received an estimate and needed to know the cost before pickup. I was told the parts still had to be totaled, but I was still not given any pricing. The following morning, I arrived and was presented with a $1,690 invoice. This was the first time I received any paperwork or pricing for the repairs. I was charged two hours at $220 per hour to diagnose an oil-filter leak, clean the area, replace the filter, add oil, and recheck it. Experienced RV professionals have told me this labor time was substantially excessive for the work performed. I was also charged approximately 2.5 hours for battery diagnosis, testing, terminal cleaning, and reconnecting a cable. Less than a week later, both chassis batteries measured approximately 9.74 volts, my entry steps would not operate, and the coach would not start normally. Whenever I asked reasonable questions about the batteries, load testing, generator, charging system, or labor charges, the lead mechanic became combative, dismissive, condescending, and extremely difficult to communicate with. I have never experienced this level of hostility from a repair shop. He also made disparaging comments about RV ownership, including that motorhomes would "bleed you dry," that I should "get out now," and that people without substantial money should not own one. This was the worst automotive and RV repair experience I have ever had. I would never trust this shop with my coach again, and I strongly recommend taking your RV somewhere else.

I had reservations through the process, but Rick is a stand up and honest guy. One of those real people you don't meet very often. Maybe a little rough around the edges but he will work diligently to help you find a way to resolve problems that arise. I mean if you ever owned and RV you know, if you are just getting into the game he can help. He has experience and knowledge and is willing to work through problems. It took some time, but he earned my trust and confidence. I'd go to Rick and Tri County RV anytime. It's great to have an owner operated business this dependable in Ventura and provides great value for the community. Longer Version: Rick and I had a bumpy road. Dealing with insurance, manufacturers, custom parts and a comic cascade of communication which went best in person, second best via direct email and off the rails a little with phone or disparate emails with third parties. However, Rick hung in there and while I sometimes may appear unreasonable, I'm not. I'm often just too curious for my own good. Yet in this situation because of Rick's tenacity and desire for customer satisfaction we got there. Rick came up with an unconventional way to provide the desired outcome, and I hope his shop is still around should I need any work on my RV in years to come.
