This is a great place for kids to learn karate. My 8 year old son is a student. I wasn't sure if…read morekarate was something he'd stick with because he's not very into group activities. He loves this class and can't wait to go every time. I think this is because of the high level teaching by Sifu Rick. He's the best mix of kindness, discipline, fun, and structure. We couldn't be happier with what we're seeing at home with our son. He is so motivated by karate and even practices in his free time, wanting to improve.

I love this place, my toddler enjoys it (most days) he is a toddler.. ;)…read moreHowever, I love the lessons and the way they implement them, the teachers are awesome with the kids, there are 3 for the little dragon group... Two teen kids and a main teacher William... Who is GREAT with the kids, his voice commands respect and attention, without being harsh or mean. The kids pay attention to him and Nick with the quickness! I suggest if you have a toddler that needs confidence, listening and focus skills, this is an excellent way to go about it, as a parent, I have watched and learned myself, and implement some of the rewards at home! They give you work sheets to earn Stars and Stripes for their belts... There's a fast reward system (stripes, stickers, stars) attendance patches and high fives!!! Again, if you have a young one looking to learn some Martial Arts or an interest after watching Kung Fu Panda (like mine)... I highly suggest this location... From Val at the front desk, Rick the owner and all the teachers I've met, they are all friendly, family oriented and great with little ones! Beware of nap times! This was an issue at first for us...
