BEWARE of Dr. Neda Azadivatan! Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Precision Periodontics & Endodontics in Clifton Park, NY! She will try and pull a fast one on you. She's just as shady as her practice. I made the mistake of going there because I was referred by my dentist. I arrived at my appointment for a root canal. To my surprise and disappointment, my appointment was for an evaluation not a root canal. So, I had to make another appointment and take another day off work. The visit cost me $391.00. She tacked on unnecessary tests and procedures to line her pockets. The day of the appointment, I get a call from the office telling me I need to reschedule because the doctor was sick. In all, she cancelled on the day of my appointment not 1, not 2, but 3 times! Unbelievable! I decided she was too unreliable and I told the office manager that I'm going to have to find another dentist. I also told her I should get a partial refund for my wasted time and inconvenience (I live 90 miles away). She said she will ask the doctor and get back to me. Of course, she never did. What ethical doctor cancels 3 times the day of an appointment? This was intentional! After the entire ordeal was over, I looked up Dr. Neda's reviews on Google. I went by the most recent. And what I noticed is that there are some people that had good experiences with 5 star reviews. But most were terrible with 1 star reviews. As I scroll down, I see 5 stars, 1 star, 4 stars and 1 star respectively. Basically, it's either she's off or she's on. It shouldn't be like that. That's NOT how a doctor should be. I located a good dentist in my area and made an appointment for a root canal. He did the consult and x-rays on the same day as the root canal. Furthermore, I was not charged for the consult and X-rays. It was all included in the cost of the root canal. The doctor was very friendly, courteous and answered my questions thoroughly. Unlike Dr. Nada, who was very rude and short and gave one-word answers, "yes" and "no" (I'm not making that up). Please take heed to my warning about this incompetent dentist. She will waste your time and take your money. I learned my lesson to check the reviews first. :( read more

WORST PRACTICE I HAVE EVER GONE TO!! If I could have given them a 0 rating, I would. I was referred to this practice to have a tooth extracted - a root canal that went bad. They extracted the tooth and convinced me to have an implant installed, but required I pay all expenses upfront. They told me I was required to have intravenous sedation as Dr Neda does not do surgery without intravenous sedation (of course they collected more money for this type of sedation). During the sedation, the tech missed my vein and I passed out temporarily. They called the ambulance and forced me to go by ambulance to the hospital, even though I said (and signed a release form) that I didn't need to go to the hospital. I have given over 8 gallons of blood and this is the first time I have passed out when stuck with a needle. Dr Neda had me come back a month later and placed the implant in a poor location, which she discovered at the follow-up checkup 3 months later! She stated that she would redo the procedure, at her cost, as the implant was not in a good spot. When I returned to have it redone, she sedated me, as usual, but then decided NOT to redo the procedure and that I should just keep the implant where it was! The location would have left a large gap between the implanted tooth and adjacent tooth! I then consulted with three other dentists who said the implant was poorly placed, and I asked Dr Neda for a refund - she said absolutely NOT! So I sued her in small claims court for malpractice just to try to get my $5K back that I already gave her! She countersued for wasting her time and had a high priced malpractice lawyer defending her - I was left to defend myself and didn't stand a chance. The judge dropped her lawsuit and we had 4 court appearances! Her lawyer had all my evidence dismissed, as I didn't have the technicians/ doctors who performed the x-rays present as a witness, nor the ambulance drivers, nor the dentists whom I consulted.... Thus I lost my case and Dr Neda got to keep the $5K I paid her - she was ecstatic to have defeated me in court! Needless to say, Dr Neda is the worst dentist I have ever worked with and she should have been banned from practicing! I reported her to the NYS Dental association and they had initially determined that an investigation was needed. They told me they would just fine her and slap her on the wrist if found she was negligent. But that I would need to sue her if I was going to get any money back! My recommendation is : Do NOT go to this practice unless you want to risk working with a dentist who is more concerned with money and her reputation than treating a patient in a professional and compassionate manner! read more

After years of complaining to my dentist, I was referred to this office. Currently 2 of 3 services were performed. Root scaling(2 parts) and a future crown lenthening. The staff from the ladies at the front, to the multiple staff dealings in the back were all courteous and professional. The cleanings went well and professional information and advice was given. After reading these reviews I was highly skeptical but they were part of my provider group and where my dentist referred me to. I think some peoples teeth may be so bad, no amount of prep can alleviate the pain. My teeth were prepped with a local, and I had no pain from the cleaning(s). I agree with the negative reviews. I went to a consultation and Dr Simon was short and terse and said everything will be fine as long as you can hold your moth open. I scheduled the procedure despite my negative gut feelings and the day before the appointment the office called to reschedule because the doctor had a prior commitment (??) The day of the reschedule for which I have a confirmation I arrived at the office 10 minutes early and was told the office Is closed for administrative day. They said I was scheduled for the next day and I was confused. I HAVE A CONFIRMATION. Then I was told they are actually closing tomorrow for the weather and would need to reschedule again. Although the office staff & Dr. Neda are very friendly, the overall lack of skill & precision in procedure is deeply concerning. Do NOT recommend. 6/2021-Needed a gum graft on 2 teeth. PP was the only place my insurance accepted. Had a consult which lasted all of 5 minutes w/ Dr. Neda Azadivatan-Le. Took before pics. Insurance required pre-authorization so PP submitted it to them for the proposed treatment plan & told me it would be a few weeks to hear back. 9/2021-Never heard back from the office so I called - the office said "We should have heard back by now." I had an insurance change & updated it w/ PP at that point. Office told me they would resubmit the claim to my updated ins. 10/2021-Called again, getting their voicemail & leaving messages. When I got a hold of them, they told me that my ins. didn't cover the procedure. I knew that it did so I pressed on it a little only to find they had resubmitted the pre-auth. to my old ins. rather than the updated one I gave them. They told me they would resubmit it to my new ins. & it would take 4 weeks. 11/2021-Received a notice from my new ins. saying the procedure wasn't covered b/c it was for implants? Called PP & it was a billing error on their part. They said they would correct it & resubmit it to my ins. 12/2021-Having not heard back, I called the office again. The claim was denied again b/c they had never removed my old ins. Said they would remove my old & resubmit it to my current ins. Early 1/2022-Ins. approved. Called PP to schedule for mid-Feb. Front office was not able to give me many details on what to expect as far as recovery, time-off of work, dietary restrictions afterward, how long the procedure should take, etc. I asked if the doctor could call me back but that didn't happen. 1/2022-Called again b/c I had questions about what to expect. Was again told that the doctor would advise me on post-care on the surgery date. I had heard it would require liquids & I wanted to be able to shop appropriately beforehand. 2/2022- Surgery day-Everything seemed to go well although partway through the doctor mentioned losing the harvested piece of tissue in my mouth & had to go around fishing for it. Took pics immediately after. Went home & my palate wouldn't stop bleeding. Kept calling the office over & over again, only getting their voicemail. Eventually someone answered & I explained the situation & they said they would call me back. Got a call back & said I could come back in if it was still bleeding in an hour. It was-they used the laser tool to stop the bleeding & sent me back home. 1 week post-op appt. I had strictly followed the liquid diet, the brushing & rinsing guidelines to a T! They told me things were healing okay, but not very confidently. I knew something was up when they decided not to take 1 week post-op pics. Dr. Neda's cell phone rang in the middle of my appt & she left to go answer it. Scheduled a 1 month post-op appt. In the week following, I knew something was wrong & things weren't healing well. The recession actually appeared to be worse than before the procedure. I called repeatedly every day that week, leaving voicemails asking for a call back & never getting one until a week later. I explained & asked to come in. Finally made an appt & took after-pics which showed worse recession than prior to having the gum graft done! They offered to do a revision on 1 of the teeth. I was upset, especially after following their post-op directions above & beyond & was extremely careful! Gum grafts are technique sensitive- "50% on the provider, 50% on you." The fact that BOTH grafts failed, & not only that but the procedure made my recession worse says a lot about the skill of the practitioner. I will need the entire procedure on both teeth redone at a different office. Stay away! He was rude and when he could not numb me adequately pre-procedure he threw his hands up, said he wasn't doing the procedure and walked out of the room and never returned. I was crying and half of my face was numb and I had to leave without any work done. I would never recommend this office and that doctor to anyone! read more

Totally incompetent... I was referred because of an infection. I was told that the only dentist who took my insurance was leaving on Sept 9th but a consultation on Sept 2 would be enough time for treatment. A 7:30am appointment was the only slot available. I arrived early. At 7:20 an employee parked and was going in. I told her I had tried to call (the recording said they did not open until 8am). She came back out and asked if these were my phone numbers. I said yes. She informed me that a message had been left that the dentist had decided not to take any other appointments, as he was leaving and the appointment had been canceled. There was no messages on either phone. Furthermore they had texted me to fill out covid and one other form. If they were sincere in getting in contact w/ me - they would have used a text/ e-mail. I wish I had read these reviews before having the worst dental experience of my life. For my close to two-hour root canal, Dr. Neda did not speak to me once, check in with me, or explain anything he was doing. He treated me like I was a practice dummy and I felt like I had been beaten up when I left. I had pain in my face, neck and jaw for seven days following the procedure. At the end of the procedure, the tech took xrays and caused more pain because of how roughly she shoved the film in my mouth. I could barely open my mouth at this point and she scolded me that she would have to keep taking xrays until I held still. It was a horrible and traumatic experience and I will tell everyone I know to not go anywhere near this disgusting place. read more

Do not ever, ever EVER use Precision Endodontics & Periodontics on Vischer Ferry Road in Clifton Park. I have never been mistreated, ignored, bullied, swindled and f-d over harder before in my life. If I didn't have such crappy dental coverage, I never would have gone there in the 1st place. I was made to wait an entire week AFTER my initial consult, in agonizing pain, for a root canal. I was not given anything for pain besides being told to take Tylenol and Advil. I could not eat & missed work due to intense pain. Temporary filling fell out 2 days afterwards - went back to office & was not told ANYTHING but that it might be a fractured tooth, and they wouldn't be able to tell without a $400 CT scan, which they conveniently could do for me that very day in their office (yea, no thanks). A new temp filling was put in w/ absolutely NO Novocain. I was again told they could prescribe nothing for pain. I was told to take another course of antibiotics in case the tooth was fractured. I asked for an rx for Diflucan, as the previous course of abx left me with a yeast infection I was still fighting. I was told they would not prescribe that; I would have to ask my PCP. 5 days later (last night), the 2nd temp filling fell out & my tooth is noticeably fractured (front half is very loose & pulling away from back half). Again I was told I would need a $400 CT scan. Researched what the treatment for a fractured tooth would be, and it turns out it's the EXACT SAME THING as what they were going to do after my root canal anyway (a permanent crown). So the $400 would have been a complete waste of $$. To top it all off, I was told multiple times that they faxed and mailed my records to my primary dentist (cannot get permanent crown placed until those records are received) & my primary dentist has yet to receive anything. I am now waiting, again in serious pain unable to chew, for the records to be properly sent so I can get a crown before my broken tooth falls out & I then require a $4000 implant. WORST PRACTICE EVER. The only bright spot is the administrative staff & dental assistants - they are very personable. I will be paying dearly out of pocket to see someone better for any future needs. read more

Dr. Simon took great care with my two root canals, which presented some particular issues that aren't always present. I appreciated his professionalism and that of his staff. Although I'm certainly not an expert, he seems highly experienced and knowledgeable. My care from him is very recent so I don't have a longer-term perspective but based on what I have seen to date, I don't hesitate to recommend a consultation with him. read more

I just want to say that I would never step foot in this place again! I had an appointment and the doctor said if you're in the area to stop in. I was in the area and I called them they said they can get me in. Four hours later I walked out! I was never so pissed off in my life! And that was only for a check up, and the top two teeth cleaning! If they told me it was gonna take four hours and they did not care about my time, I would've never went there in the first place. So go there if you have nothing to do and are willing to lose a half days pay. Because they don't care about you or your time! I will never step foot in that place again. Worst office in the world. Lacks professionalism, sensitivity, clairity and thouroughness. They only received one star because the program requires it. I was experiencing tooth pain that my general dentist was unable to identify so he reccomended that I see a specialist. After researching possible endodentists in the area,I called this office, explained to them the situation that I was in and asked what the doctor in that office would be able to do. I was told that she would perform a series of tests and take xrays. I had already had Bitewing x-rays done and told them that my geeral dentist was unable to draw a conclusion and that I did not want to come in and pay for an office visit to be told information that I already knew. I was reaasured by the receptionist that the other tests performed would give the doctor more information. Well, I arrive staff was friendly, I get in to see the doctor, they take Bitewing xrays, she taps on my tooth and then administers a cold sensation to a tooth puts me in an incredible amout of pain and then informs me that there was nothing she could to help. She informed me that I needed to go "out of network" to get a CT scan done of my jaw. Well guys what this meant is that CT scans are only covered under medical and that I would need to go to an actual hospital or imaging facility to havw this performed as they did not have the machine in their office. As I was sitting there in excruciating pain, she cotinuted to explain a few possibilities, but who can listen when you are in level 10 pain. I then requested a refund for my office visit. Upon doing so attitudes were flying via phone. This is a clinical enviroment. These individuals fail to relaize that. I found the doctor in my particular situation to be extremely unhelpful, impatient and cofusing. You can barely hear her when she speaks. The least she could have done was explain what out of network meant and why I needed to go out of network or provide specialists who can perform the scan. I was then told that because I asked for a refund, the doctor would not be sending anything of our visit to my dentist but that they had notes and could send those. I imagine there are cleaner, more professional offices in the back alleys of Calcutta and Juarez. I read the reviews and decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The reviews of this place were far too generous. In my experience, there were no redeeming factors to be found. I'm new to the area and needed a 'retreat' for a root canal. I made an appointment and drove to Precision Periodontics & Endodontics in Clifton Park. The building itself isn't impressive, but I'm not one to judge a book by its cover. I had already taken an afternoon off work so I decided to stick around. My interaction with the dental assistant should have been the 'last straw'. He walked me down to the dark, dewy, cluttered basement (yes... they have a consultation room in the basement). He then began berating immigration attorneys and bragging about his security clearance for the DHS center in Albany. How was this related to my dental treatment? No idea. I'm neither an attorney nor an immigrant, but he somehow thought this was information I needed. I've had X-rays taken at many dentists in the past. I've never had anyone trip over the cord while the bite was in my mouth! As it ripped out of my mouth, the assistants jaw dropped in horror. He quickly recovered and explained that it's ok because 'we'll be getting wireless X-Rays next month'. I breathed a sigh of relief after he left. I again considered walking out, but I'd already paid for the visit, so I sat in the dark and waited for the dentist. I tried to take comfort in the dozens of 'certificates of participation' hanging on the walls for Dr. Neda Azadivatan, a doctor who I would never meet. Eventually, Dr. Negron arrived and limply shook my hand. She quietly glanced at my XRays and then asked me to open my mouth. Without warning, she proceeded to use the probe to forcefully 'tap' my infected tooth asking if it hurt after each tap. It has taken me years to overcome my fear of the dentist. All of my courage was destroyed in that one simple interaction. Thankfully, the tooth didn't hurt as my first root canal had remedied the pain years ago. After examining me, Dr. Negron asked why I was there, a question most physicians ask prior to beginning an exam. After I told her that my dentist said I needed another root canal before she could apply my dental crown, Dr. Negron said she could 'open up the tooth and clean it out and see if there's anything else that needs to be done while she's in there.' Was she going to really going to charge me a thousand dollars for an invasive procedure she wasn't sure I needed? I've had a lot of dental treatment in the past and spent a lot of money. I'm lucky I've never had a dentist treat me without thoroughly explaining why they think I need the treatment and exactly what that treatment would entail. This was a first. Needless to say, I never returned to this office for treatment. I am still shaken by this interaction that occurred over a month ago and relived the trauma after receiving another bill for the consultation. They had mistakenly told me my insurance would partially cover the cost of the consultation. Though I must say, it's worth $100 to never have to hear from this place again. Do be careful when choosing this facility. Places like this make money off patients in pain that require immediate treatment. It can be tempting to choose a facility like this when you have severe tooth pain but you have options. There are many qualified endodontists in the Capital Region that can ease your pain and your mind. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! If I could give this office no stars at all I would. Unfortunately that is not an option. I come from 2.5 hours away and chose this office based on where my insurance was accepted. Since I come from so far they had agreed to take the consult from a local Endodontist and do a same day consult and procedure, saving me the trip. Worst mistake I could have ever made. Walking into this office I was already anxious having to have dental work done. I was greeted by a friendly dental assistant who re assured me everything was fine. They pull me into a room and put me in a chair. Thinking to myself there would at least be a 10-15 min briefing on plan of care where I could meet the dentist and we could discuss the procedure. Nope very wrong, some man who later come to find out is Dr.Simon came storming in my room with no greetings and no introductions, told me to open my mouth where he stuck a q-tip in and eventually gave numbing medicine. When he stopped I asked if anybody wanted to see my insurance card or if they received my paperwork? The dental assistant said "oh yeah I'll send someone in". After he was done numbing me, he turned around and started talking very poorly about the other staff in the office with the dental assistant, they went on for probably 5 minutes right in front of me, which was extremely uncomfortable. The dental assistant said "sorry that's inappropriate, I just can't with it here, after so many years I'm ready to walk out today" feeling so uncomfortable I laugh this off because I had no idea what else to say. A lady from finance comes in (again no introduction) and while I'm numb says "your insurance won't cover this, it's 1600 today how would you like to pay?" Sheer panic came over me as I did not have the 1600 and was not expecting this, hence why I drove the 2.5 hours. I asked why my insurance all of a sudden wasn't covering this since I called and they specifically told me it would! She copped an attitude with me raising her voice saying "well what insurance do you even have?!?!" I told her my insurance and she accused me of already having work done because she had no idea why they wouldn't, storms off saying "I guess I'll look into it". Now very upset not knowing what's going on another lady from finance comes in and tells me it's covered 100% but I still owe 180 for today's visit. I ask her what these charges are and how come nobody explained this when I called and asked. She said that's not her problem she's not sure why they didn't explain it and that for 180 for a root canal I should just take it and be happy. She then ended up waving the 70 consult fee because I was visibly upset at this point. After all this and nerves, the so called dentist shows back up and whips my head back throws more numbing medicine and is going to begin procedure, looks at my mouth and says "oh this is a porcelain cap?" Thinking to myself if you actually read my chart you would know the answer. He then proceeds to tell me that there is a good chance my tooth could fracture and break today after incision. Again I panic and stop everything asking him what does that mean, I would leave with no tooth?! He then got extremely frustrated, threw things down and got completely unprofessional (not that he ever was from the beginning). He yelled at me this isn't his problem and there's nothing he can do about, storms out of the room and says nothing else to me. The dental assistant then comes in to clean up his mess and walk me through things to do and follow up with my general dentist. I left that office in tears completely numb in my mouth with no root canal and still had to drive 2.5 hours home. The care here was horrid. I would never recommend a single person to come here and be treated so poorly. I am going to pay out of pocket and go to someone who shows a little more compassion and can actually go over the procedure with me. I wish i read the reviews before i went to my appt today. I was referred by my dentist for a root canal. Similar experience mentioned by others- front desk people were great- it ended there. I was treated as though i was a bother to them. Xrays were clumsy at best. Doc came in and knocked my bad tooth. TWICE. ok once is fine- need to check. What was the second one for? My gut told me not to return- but i ignored it. Set appt for 2:20. They rescheduled for 1:40. Wanted to miss as little work as possible but ok. I got there- they were running 45 minutes late. Doc looks in mouth and says it will take 2 visits. What? He says tooth is far back and my tongue is big. Well- my tooth didn't move and tongue didn't grow since consult- so why is this now an issue. And he didn't tell ME- he told the tech. Like i wasnt there. I mentioned that this would be good to know prior bc i just started new job. He said i should have taken half a day. I did! HE was late. He was annoyed when i couldn't sit further back in chair (bc my head wasnt in headrest) I said i am 5' tall- i am as far up as i go! He got mad when i gagged after he dripped novacaine down my throat( very bitter- this is normal response) and then irritated when i couldnt open wide enough to get apparatus in. He tried to pry my mouth open further- couldnt, then declared he could not do my root canal bc my mouth is too small. I will be telling my dentist of 10 years to not give referrals to this guy. I visited to get treatment for a pocket that abscessed and that had been successfully treated with antibiotics by a general dentist. Precision Perio presented me with a treatment plan that included the removal of 4 teeth, a bridge and potentially an implant. A 2nd and 3rd opinion by other periodontists rejected that and 14 months later the tooth without any further treatment (other than rigorous home cleaning) is healthy with very minimal movement. On a subsequent visit to Precision for a periodontal cleaning I was handed a document to sign that stated that they would not be responsible for nor treat any issue concerning the aforementioned teeth as I had rejected their plan. Of course I would not sign it, rather I allowed the hygienist to finish and left. They are very aggressive I believe with expensive and unnecessary treatments. Absolutely horrible experience for my wife. Dr Simon was an arrogant jerk to my wife who was seeking treatment for pain she was having. Our house was robbed on 6/23/2015 and of course my wife was not able to make the appointment. We called and explained the situation to them and they were completely unsympathetic. Today we received a bill for $100 for services NOT rendered. Really!!! I believe the response from the receptionist on the phone to my wife was the following: "Were sorry your house was robbed but were still going to charge you $100 and the doctor will never see you again and you will need to make an appointment with another doctor and they will not see you until that money is payed. My wife immediately notified her friend who is a Dentist to stop referring patients to this practice. read more

It was a root canal so how pleasant can it be? However the personnel were pleasant, courteous and sensitive to my needs. The job was completed quickly and without a hitch. But again it was a root canal so it was not enjoyable. But the folks here were great. As good as it gets for a procedure like this. read more

I wouldn't rate the staff here even 1 star. I have been a very easy going patient of theirs for nearly 10 years!! For the first few appointments, (I had a minimum of 2/year), things were fine but then it started, every appointment after that, the staff would call and have to reschedule every appointment. Like I said, I never complained until one appointment, they called back for a 5th reschedule!!!!! I work and have to put in ahead of time to take time off from work plus travel time. They would call usually the day before in the afternoon and state they had to reschedule. Today, 9/15/20, was the last straw!! I am now working from home, put in for time off, and drove 1 1/2 hours to their office. 30 minutes before my appointment time, I called their office to see what the steps were due to COVID. I spoke to Megan first, I stated my name and the time of my appointment. She stated the steps. I called when I arrived in their parking lot as instructed, 3 minutes ahead of my appointment time. The second time I spoke with Megan at the time of my arrival, she puts me on hold, then comes back and tells me I am not on the books!! I made this appointment 5 months ago!! Why didn't she look at the books on my first call and at least save me an hour of the 3 hours I drove?!?! Megan than offers to rebook the appointment. I told her I was DONE!!! Then, after I calmed down, I called back and spoke with Amanda. I told Amanda the whole situation and how mad I was and she did apologize and offer to rebook and I stated I had already drove 3 hours FOR NOTHING!! I asked her to tell the doctor about the whole situation and to include all of the multiple rescheduling of my past appointments. She said yes but do you really think that message will get to the doctor?!?! I think not. I am not sure if the doctors in that office really care about their patients and are even aware or care about what their incompetent staff is doing! DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!! read more

I can't even rate this place as a 1. I went there on the referral of my dentist. I would never go back. The assistant (man) was chomping on his gum the whole time. The dr. came in and spent 30 seconds with me. I was in pain. She said I needed a root canal - walked out. I have never had problems with my teeth. I asked the assistant what this entailed. He was extremely sarcastic as if I should have known. My appointment was for 3:40. As I was tipped back in the chair, someone a woman came in the room to say "hey, we have a chance on getting out of here by 4:00 today." It was apparent they all wanted to go home! This was after my appointment was rescheduled to 3:40 from 2:40. It was the most unprofessional office I have ever been too. They do not care about their patients or how they are feeling - don't let you communicate what is wrong. I do have to give the young lady at the desk kudos as she was sweet and knew how upset I was and tried to explain the procedure hence giving this place a rating of "1." Do not go there. I have told my dentist to not refer patients there. It's a disgrace! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I literally just walked out on my appointment with this place. I came here to get a root canal done. When I showed up they explained that this was a consult, which no big deal, but when I confirmed the appointment the other day the woman who called stated that it was for a root canal. So I misunderstood. I started to cry because I'm in so much pain and decided to call my husband. We had a private conversation and I even stated that it was my misunderstanding. When I got off the phone the woman at the front desk yelled across the waiting room to me and very rudely stated that "she was confused as to why I wouldn't think this was a consult". She very snottily told me that the consult is mandatory and made me feel as if she was chastising me in front of the other patients. I told her to forget it and that I would leave and she then convinced me to stay against my better judgement. When I was finally called they brought me into the back and told me I need X-rays. I then told them my dentist literally just sent you my X-rays and that I would not have them done again they said it was mandatory. I then walked out immediately. I called my regular dentist and she even said that consults can be common but when they refer someone to a place specifically for a root canal they normally for-go the consult and go right to scheduling the root canal. I believe that this place is doing consults and extra X-rays in an effort to up-bill the insurance companies. Other reviews that I found also said the same thing. I was treated very insensitively by the staff here and I feel that this place lacks professionalism and sensitivity for their patients. Please consider this when booking an appointment because when you're in pain you don't deserve to be chastised and made to feel uncomfortable when you are already in a large amount of pain. read more

Be very careful that your insurance is billed accurately for the services you received prior to being seen by Precision Periodontics & Endodontic. They are savvy at billing, and know how to acquire the most money. Their business practice of billing for a service that may not be exactly what you received most likely results in the services not being (fully) covered by your insurance plan. Insurance is a frustrating process, and then when a business office takes advantage of the billing system, this ultimately means more money out of my pocket. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Harvey Simon in November 2019. The consult went quick although he neglected to notice that I have a small mouth. I returned for a root canal. I found the office very tech savvy, clean to the extent you wear booties and front desk staff very efficient and polite. However, the experience was the worst I have ever hand in my life. They set up the incorrect medication for numbing. Dr. was upset that the water bowl was leaking and needed to be fixed during the procedure. He insisted that I scoot up in the chair so my head would fit where he needed it to be. Well, I am under 5' and couldn't keep my body suspended in the space he needed me to be in. I kept sliding down and he had to keep asking me to move up. He said my mouth was too small. I have had this size mouth all of my 73 years! What was the consult for? He was fuming and fussing out loud and said he couldn't do the procedure. He did anthesize my mouth and proceeded. He complained the whole time. The assistant (I didn't know what she was, never saw her face) passed tools over my face and didn't know the names of the instruments! Dr. berated her for that. I was never introduced to her, talked to her, or was acknowledged by her. He did some drilling, took off the crown and drilled. He threw up his hands and said he couldn't do it. It was too calcified. "You need to have some micro procedure done." I asked for recommendations and he didn't know anyone. "Ask the front desk." They didn't know either. After a 20 minute session, I went to the waiting room where my husband could console me. I was, literally, shaking and had severe anxiety. I have never been so upset and had such anxiety. I couldn't talk. If I had to drive home, I couldn't. I have had 4 child births without medication and this experience was so much worse that that. This dentist was very rude, unprofessional, and uncaring. I have reported this to my insurance company and primary dentist. This company should not be allowed to operate!!!! read more

Dr Neda Azadivatan seems more like a salesperson than a doctor. She showed me my X-ray , without a a good explanation and didn't even show me the pictures they took with their fancy intra oral camera. She refused to do work on me because I am 8 weeks pregnant and Insisted I waited 4 more weeks after my trimester to start work. She even asked me how many weeks is one trimester. I can't go another day with this infected tooth. I had my obgyn, Dr Clark, who is one of the best doctors in the area, on the phone and I told her he wanted to speak to her, and she gave me a nasty look and told me to wait as she was speaking to her front desk. As soon as she finished talking to them she walked away from me and I went back to front desk and they told me she didn't have to talk to my obgyn that it was cleared. When front desk gave me my bill they told me coverage might not be 100% after I called twice 3 days before my appointment to make sure I wasn't going to be expecting a bill. They insisted on giving me the bill and told me she will still do work on me but on my 2nd trimester. I was livid. After all that even with my ob on the phone she still refused to do work so I took my business elsewhere who did my root canal on the spot and drained out all of that infection that was giving me immediate pain every day. Dr. Neda is the worse dentist you'll ever meet and sucks at her job. She should be a Dior sales worker. Anyways if you want a great doctor. He is in Queensbury NY and his name is Dr. Lyons. He is now my dental god. He is amazing at his work and so is Dr. Greg and Michael Vallecorsa! I love them so much they truly care about the patient and explain very throughly exactly what is going to be done let alone the x-rays! I felt like I was dental student during the consult!
