I recently rang them to refinance and an appointment was made with a Broker to come out and see us. To my surprise when the doorbell rang there was not one but 2 Consultants had come to see us. We must be special I thought. Well, within 1 minute of sitting down one of the "consultants" starts babbling almost incoherently about "Financial Wellness" and it takes a while for us to click that he's trying to flog us an Investment Property. After we told him we weren't interested he kept pushing, until the other Consultant, who looked quite uncomfortable took over and started talking about what we actually got them out to discuss, the refinance of our home loan. But by this stage they had lost us and suffice to say we won't be dealing with Assured again.

I think that is fantastic. Obviously you have to work and work hard to keep up with payments and paying your home off, but in the long run it is worth it.

I don't believe a lot of them really need to spend that much money on marketing if they are good. I was first recommended this accountant by three unrelated people. So word of mouth for Michael Calabrese is doing well. When you find a good accountant, it doesn't matter where their office is situated. You will travel if it means your tax and business if done right. The people who recommended my accountant were business owners. So I knew that their opinions where valid. Business owners generally test Accountants out a bit more than the general consumer. I have been going to Michael for around 5 years now. He is good at what he does and fast. My tax returns are never really complicated. But he has always surprised me with my returns. I guess every situation is different, but I have always left his office with a smile. Michael is efficient and he will ask the right questions. Previously I have been caught out by overworked Accountants from big firms that just look at you as a number. That is not the case with Michael, he takes his time to ensure everything is covered. I will continue recommending him and everyone that I have sent to him have always been happy.

My partner has always had an account here (when it was Satisfac), so when we chose our home loan provider, we came here. Everything here is quick and easy, and the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Every time I have found my old credit union to not have a great deal, Credit Union SA has come up trumps. Today I even added more services to my account, due to their lack of fees (unlike my old Credit Union). This is a very small credit union, and there aren't many staff working here - but they're fantastic! Credit Union SA is what all the credit unions in South Australia used to be like, before the economic downturn. Sometimes larger doesn't necessarily mean better ;)
