My partner has always had an account here (when it was Satisfac), so when we chose our home loan provider, we came here. Everything here is quick and easy, and the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Every time I have found my old credit union to not have a great deal, Credit Union SA has come up trumps. Today I even added more services to my account, due to their lack of fees (unlike my old Credit Union). This is a very small credit union, and there aren't many staff working here - but they're fantastic! Credit Union SA is what all the credit unions in South Australia used to be like, before the economic downturn. Sometimes larger doesn't necessarily mean better ;)

Another great thing about the merger, there are now a heap more branches around which is so convenient. In fact I had not even thought about this one and then realised, hang on, I can use that now. It was great. Again set up with two teller desks basically. Usually places like this want to tighten up security but they seem to be quite relaxed. I got served really quickly and without any fuss. There were a few people coming in and going out of the branch but the line moved quickly so it didn't seem too bad. Plus, again, much better opening hours than any bank!

I more often visit the Modbury Tea Tree Plus branch if I need to go in and the level of service is very good. The bank always performs well on customer service / satisfaction reviews and I certainly have no complaints. I was sick of the big banks and feel that the credit union looks after its members better. And no, you do not have to be in the Police to join.
