I am a traveling nurse and I stopped traveling because of the DON it has been a very long time since I have seen a DON care for the residents like she does. and the social worker Letti she has the biggest heart she cares about her residents. She goes above and beyond for her residents. She just doesn't pass it on to someone else, Letti heart is in the right spot, and she takes care of business and it shows. I don't feel that is appropriate. Not all patients in the facility have cognitive or hearing disabilities so they hear what the rehab staff is saying. I think this is something the facility needs to address.

As a parent who is constantly WebMDing every sniffle, it is comforting to have a doctor who is as thorough as Dr. Morris. His style is always precautionary - he usually gives his initial gut diagnosis / prognosis and then follows up with "but we can go ahead and test for ___________ just to be safe." I'd grown so accustomed to the "diagnosis through medication" method that many doctors use - whereupon the patient is given medication and then if it works, great, and if not we'll try something else - that I didn't even know that doctors still did things like TEST unless things already weren't working. Beyond the simple belief that when testing is available it should be done - not only to avoid overuse of medications such as antibiotics, but also to rule out more serious diseases like strep - I cannot overstate the value of having a doctor that you feel cares as much about the health of your child as you do. When my daughter was born a few weeks earlier than expected, she developed jaundice, was not feeding well, and was losing weight. Dr. Morris tended to her as if she was his only patient, even though I know for certain that he stays pretty booked - even working on Saturdays. Dr. Morris is one of those doctors whose commitment to medicine, to his patients, and to his own high standards is evident in everything he does. I would highly recommend him to anyone within the Brownwood area or anywhere within an hour driving distance. In my opinion, it is worth the drive for the sense of security that comes from knowing your child's health is in competent and caring hands.

After relying on family to get us from Central Station in Ft Worth to Brownwood, we used Safe Travels when we couldn't drive ourselves. Lisa also drove us from Brownwood back to Ft Worth. Keep in mind that Safe Travels is an independent business owned by one person (no fleet of cars). Lisa is flexible, friendly, professional, compassionate and an excellent resource for experiencing Brownwood. She was a lifesaver, and we highly recommend Safe Travel. I will never order from the old TSO office again. I am a RN and really need to work right now but will not be able to see to get to work or care for people who need care. Yesterday, I had my surgery. The Dr was extremely informative and from past X-rays was prepared to go in and do what was needed. During surgery plans had changed due to the findings and Dr.Stewart did everything and more so easily, so quickly for my health benefit as an individual. This changed my life.
